Asymmetric 1,2-additions of cyanide yield enantioenriched cyanohydrins as versatile chiral building blocks. Next to HCN, volatile organic cyanide sources are usually used. Among them, cyanoformates are more attractive on technical scale than TMSCN for cost reasons, but catalytic productivity is usually lower. Here, the development of a new strategy for cyanations is described, in which this activity disadvantage is overcome. A Lewis acidic Al center cooperates with an aprotic onium moiety within a remarkably robust bifunctional Al–F–salen complex. This allowed for unprecedented turnover numbers of up to 104. DFT studies suggest an unexpected unique trimolecular pathway in which the ammonium bound cyanide attacks the aldehyde, which itself is activated by the carbonyl group of the cyanoformate binding to the Al center. In addition, a novel practical carboxycyanation method was developed that makes use of KCN as the sole cyanide source. The use of a pyrocarbonate as carboxylating reagent provided the best results.  相似文献

Carbonyl‐tethered propargylic benzoates undergo intramolecular carbonylpropargylation upon treatment with Et2Zn in the presence of a catalytic amount of Pd0 with the formation of 2‐alkynylcyclopentanol products. A ligand/solvent effect on the cis/trans selectivity (referring to the relative positions of alkynyl and OH groups) of ring‐closure has been found. In a non‐coordinating solvent (benzene), increasing the electron‐donating ability of the phosphine ligand (while decreasing its dissociation ability) leads to an increased tendency towards the trans product. On the other hand, the combination of a coordinating solvent (THF) and PPh3, an easily dissociated phosphine, results in the exclusive formation of cis products. Experimental and computational results are compatible with a divergent behavior of an allenylethylpalladium intermediate that partitions between competitive carbonyl‐addition and transmetalation pathways, each leading to a different diastereoisomer. These results also suggest that the dissociating ability of the phosphine regulates that behavior.  相似文献

In a novel electron‐donor–acceptor conjugate, phthalocyanine (Pc) and perylenediimide (PDI) are connected through a trans‐platinum(II) diacetylide linker to yield Pc‐Pt‐PDI 1 . In the ground state, the presence of PtII disrupts the electronic communication between the two electroactive components, as revealed by UV/Vis spectroscopy and electrochemical studies. The photophysical behavior of 1 is compared with that of the corresponding Pc‐PDI electron‐donor–acceptor conjugate 2 in terms of charge separation and charge recombination. The insertion of PtII between Pc and PDI impacts the results in a longer‐lived Pc . +/PDI . ? radical ion‐pair state. In addition, the intermediately formed Pc triplet excited state is formed with higher quantum yields in 1 than in 2 .  相似文献

The structural variations in the rough-type endotoxins [lipopolysaccharides (LPSs)] of Shigella sonnei mutant strains (S. sonnei phase II-4303, R41, 562H and 4350) were investigated by Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS) and tandem MS. A series of S. sonnei mutants had previously been the subject of analytical studies on the biosynthesis of heptose components in the core oligosaccharide region of LPSs. This study gives a complete overview on the structures of the full core and lipid A of S. sonnei mutant strains by MS. We found that the LPSs of the isogenic rough mutants were formed in a step-like manner containing 0:1:2:3 heptose in the deep core region of 4350, 562H, R41 and 4303, respectively, and the longest LPS from the mutant S. sonnei 4303 contained also five hexoses. The structural variations in the lipid A moiety and in the oligosaccharide part of the intact LPS were followed by MALDI-TOF-MS/MS. For the dissolution and the ionization of the samples, 2,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid in citric acid solution was applied as matrix. The detailed evaluation of the mass spectra indicates heterogeneity in the lipid part due to the differences in the phosphate and fatty acid composition.  相似文献

The biological relevance of amino acids is well known. They can be used as zwitterionic, cationic or anionic forms according to the pH of the medium where they are. Thus, our aim herein was to study the conformational preference of the polar amino acid l-threonine [C4H9NO3, (2S,3R)-2-amino-3-hydroxybutyric acid] under different pH conditions. A conformational study in an aqueous solution of the dissociation equilibrium of the amino acid l-threonine was carried out for this purpose. We recorded, at room temperature, the Mid-IR, Far-IR, Raman and VCD spectra of l-threonine from the aqueous solutions at pH values 5.70 (zwitterionic species), 1.00 (protonated species) and 13.00 (deprotonated species). The number of conformers found with the conformational search was 9 zwitterions, 27 anions and 52 cations. Both the study of the conformational landscape and the theoretical analysis of the vibrational features were accomplished by using DFT and ab initio calculations, that is, B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p) level of theory for all the conformers obtained from the conformational search, M062X/6-311++G(d,p) and MP2/6-311++G(d,p) levels of theory for the most stable conformers. The presence of water was included with the IEF-PCM implicit hydration model. With regard to the zwitterion, the importance of the analysis of the low frequency region (700–30 cm–1) in the Far-IR spectra should be noted, because it provides relevant information that can be used to determine the presence of the most stable structures.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The synthesis of several 3-aryl-5-glycosylisoxazole derivatives has been achieved. By condensation of the protected aldehydo-sugars 2,3-O-isopropylidene-D-glyceraldehyde (1), 2,3:4,5-di-O-isopropylidene-aldehydo-D-arabinose (2) and D-xylose (3), and 2,5-anhydro-3,4,5-tri-O-benzoyl-D-mannose (4) with benzoylmethylenetriphenylphosphorane, enulose derivatives were formed, which were later converted into a,ß-unsaturated ketoximes. These ketoximes were oxidatively cyclized with iodine and, after removal of the hydroxyl protecting groups, 3-phenyl-5-glycosylisoxazoles were formed.  相似文献

Organopolysiloxanes as Chemically Sensitive Coatings for Optical Fibers   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Various types of UV-curable organically modified siloxanes have been synthesized by the sol-gel method with the aim of fabricating chemically sensitive coatings for silica optical fibers. The refractive index of the coating material can be tailored in the range from 1.46 to 1.56 and sensitivity towards CO2 is achieved by incorporation of amino groups. The interaction of the cured layers with CO2 or with hydrocarbons has been studied in immersion experiments. Both the reaction of CO2 with incorporated amino groups and the penetration of hydrocarbons into the layer induce changes of the light absorption coefficient and the refractive index of the coating which are detected by measuring the output light intensity from the fiber.  相似文献
