The effects of high-pressure treatment on the colour (objective measurement) and sensory characteristics of white grape juice were studied during storage at 4 °C for 60 days. Grape juice was subjected to three different treatments: 400 or 500 MPa at 2 u °C, and 400 MPa at 40 °C during 10 min. Untreated juice was used as control. Colour parameters (CIE L * a * b *), hue angle (tan m 1 b */ a *), chroma {( a * 2 + b * 2 ) 1/2 }, luminosity Q *{(10 2 log( L *) + 100} and saturation S *( C */ L *) were measured. Juices were evaluated for sweetness, acidity, off-flavour and aroma. High-pressure treatments did not affect the colour parameters of juice, and similar sensory characteristics were observed in both control and treated samples on the first day. The colour and sensory characteristics of pressure-treated samples remained more stable than those of the control juice during 60 days of storage. The control juice was slightly fermented developing some changes in flavour and colour.  相似文献

This work reports an X‐ray absorption near‐edge structure (XANES) spectroscopy study at the Ni K‐edge in the early stages of growth of NiO on non‐ordered SiO2, Al2O3 and MgO thin films substrates. Two different coverages of NiO on the substrates have been studied. The analysis of the XANES region shows that for high coverages (80 Eq‐ML) the spectra are similar to that of bulk NiO, being identical for all substrates. In contrast, for low coverages (1 Eq‐ML) the spectra differ from that of large coverages indicating that the local order around Ni is limited to the first two coordination shells. In addition, the results also suggest the formation of cross‐linking bonds Ni—O—M (M = Si, Al, Mg) at the interface.  相似文献

Polypropylene matrix composites, with different degrees of reinforcement with long glass fibres, are employed in different fields of the industry, such as aeronautics or automotive. Samples of the material were exposed to artificial accelerated photo-ageing in UV chamber (Heraeus Xenotest 150S). Their high content of glass fibres causes a surface degradation that can seriously affect mechanical properties. Therefore, dynamic mechanical and tensile tests were carried out in order to compare the changes of the properties with exposure time. These modifications are accompanied with microscopic changes in the crystallinity as can be seen in the thermal analysis experiments.  相似文献

The gas‐phase elimination kinetics of the above‐mentioned compounds were determined in a static reaction system over the temperature range of 369–450.3°C and pressure range of 29–103.5 Torr. The reactions are homogeneous, unimolecular, and obey a first‐order rate law. The rate coefficients are given by the following Arrhenius expressions: ethyl 3‐(piperidin‐1‐yl) propionate, log k1(s?1) = (12.79 ± 0.16) ? (199.7 ± 2.0) kJ mol?1 (2.303 RT)?1; ethyl 1‐methylpiperidine‐3‐carboxylate, log k1(s?1) = (13.07 ± 0.12)–(212.8 ± 1.6) kJ mol?1 (2.303 RT)?1; ethyl piperidine‐3‐carboxylate, log k1(s?1) = (13.12 ± 0.13) ? (210.4 ± 1.7) kJ mol?1 (2.303 RT)?1; and 3‐piperidine carboxylic acid, log k1(s?1) = (14.24 ± 0.17) ? (234.4 ± 2.2) kJ mol?1 (2.303 RT)?1. The first step of decomposition of these esters is the formation of the corresponding carboxylic acids and ethylene through a concerted six‐membered cyclic transition state type of mechanism. The intermediate β‐amino acids decarboxylate as the α‐amino acids but in terms of a semipolar six‐membered cyclic transition state mechanism. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The effects of chemical heat treatments of a semi-anthracite char (AC) on textural properties and reactivity in air of the material are investigated. The starting char was first treated with a mixture of LiCl/KCl or LiCl/KCl/CaO at 743, 873 or 1173 K and the products obtained were then washed thoroughly with distilled water. A small fraction of these samples were treated with 10−3 M HCl solution. Valuable information on textural modifications produced in the material was derived from the adsorption isotherms for CO2 at 273 K. The reactivity tests were carried out at 808, 823 and 823 K. The microporosity developed and the reactivity in air increased in the partially demineralised products. The former effect was stronger for the LiCl/KCl/CaO-treated samples and the latter for a larger number of the LiCl/KCl-treated samples.  相似文献
