Hemoglobin (Hb) was immobilized on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) surface by konjac glucomannan (KGM). KGM hydrogel films
on GCE have relatively high stabilities in aqueous–ethanol mixtures. The entrapped hemoglobin undergoes fast direct electron
transfer reactions in aqueous–organic solvent mixtures. The peak current is bigger, the peak-to-peak separation smaller and
the formal potential observed in the cyclic voltammogram is more negative for Hb–KGM/GCE in ethanol–PBS compared to Hb–KGM/GCE
in PBS. The electrochemical properties of the Hb in aqueous–organic solution are almost unchanged from with those observed
for the purely aqueous solution, suggesting that water pools in the KGM hydrogel play an important role in preventing changes
in conformation and making proteins unreactive with polar organic solvents. The immobilized Hb was able to catalyze the reduction
of nitric oxide, peroxides (hydrogen peroxide, cumene hydroperoxide, t-butyl hydroperoxide, 2-butanone peroxide), and the dehalogenation of haloethanes (hexachloroethane, pentachloroethane, tetrachloroethane,
etc.). The stability and reproducibility of the modified electrode meant that it could be used to determine these substances.

Theoretical and experimental study of Diffraction Radiation Oscillator (DRO) is reported in this paper, it is the first work done in P. R. China. The sphere-cylindrical open cavity used in the DRO has been analysed, the method for testing the field profile and the cold measurement of the open cavity have been worked out. The experimental device was manufactured in our lab. and the theoretical analysis and experimental study of the device have been carried out. The electric field-induced dynamic phase-matching of second harmonic generation (SHG) waveguide was demonstrated by using a main chain polyarylamine. The linear and nonlinear optical properties of this polymer are presented. The optimum phase-matching thickness was controlled by applying an electric field to the polymer waveguide. The effective phase-matching thickness variation induced by poling is about 0.025 μm that is six times larger than full width at the half-maximum (FWHM) of phase-matching thickness in conventional slab waveguide. The efficient phase-matched SHG was observed from a taperless slab wave-guide. The optical loss of poled polymer on glass substrate at 632.8 nm was 2.7 dB/cm. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 相似文献

In this study we demonstrate: (i) The GnRH agonist exerts a direct dose-dependent stimulative effect on the aromatase activity and progesterone production in cultured monkey granulosa cells; (ii) the stimulative effect on steroidogenesis can be completely blocked by concomitant treatment with a GnRH antagonist, suggesting that the actions of GnRH are mediated through stringent stereospecific recognition sites; (iii) in addition to the stimulative effect, the GnRH agonist in the presence of gonadotropins also exerts an inhibitory effect, even though the peptide by itself is more effective in the stimulation of steroidogenesis, and the stimulation of gonadotropin on steroidogenesis could be gradually restored by decreasing the concentration of the GnRH agonist in the culture; and (iv) paradoxical effect can also be observed in the presence of cAMP-inducing agents, suggesting that the inhibitory action of the peptide on gonadotropin-induced steroidogenesis is localized at a step distal to the stringent recognition sites. 相似文献
