We show that K(2)ZnSn(3)S(8) is a phase-change system that exhibits tristability. Kinetic and thermodynamic forms of different compounds in the K/Zn/Sn/S system have been synthesized and thoroughly characterized. We report an example where slow and rapid cooling of a melt of K(2)CO(3)/S/Sn/Zn leads to different kinetically stable products (crystalline layered α-K(2)ZnSn(3)S(8), 1, and glassy K(2)ZnSn(3)S(8), A, respectively). These forms convert to a thermodynamically stable compound (crystalline cubic β-K(2)ZnSn(3)S(8), 2) upon annealing below their melting points. The band gaps of compounds 1, A, and 2 are 2.30, 2.15, and 2.55 eV, respectively. 相似文献

We present a study on the application of magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) prepared from Fe3O4 and functionalized with pyridine as an adsorbent for the solid-phase extraction of trace quantities of Pd(II) ion. The pyridine group was immobilized on the surface of the MNPs by covalent bonding of isonicotinamide. The modified MNPs can be readily separated from an aqueous solution by applying an external magnetic field. Effects of pH, the amount of functionalized MNPs, extraction time, type and quantity of eluent, desorption time, break-through volume and interfering ions on the extraction efficiency were optimized. The amount of Pd(II) was then determined using FAAS. Under the optimized conditions, the detection limit and preconcentration factor are 0.15?μg?L-1 and 196, respectively, and the relative standard deviation (at 20?μgL?1; for n?=?10) is 3.7?%. The method had a linear analytical range from 1 to 80?μg?L-1 and was applied to determine Pd(II) in spiked tape water and soil. Figure

The chemical composition of the essential oil of Petasites albus (known as 'Baba Adam' in Iran) was investigated by capillary gas chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry for the first time. Twenty components were identified, accounting for 99.7% of the oil composition. The major compounds were euparin (73%), α-eudesmol (13.2%) and β-selinene (4.5%). Euparin, the main component of the essential oil, was isolated and characterised by spectroscopic techniques. The antioxidant activities of the essential oil and euparin were evaluated by using the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging assay and are shown to exhibit a moderate antioxidant activity. 相似文献

In this work we propose a fourth-order compact method for solving the one-dimensional nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation. We apply a compact finite difference approximation of fourth-order for discretizing spatial derivative and a fourth-order A-stable diagonally-implicit Runge-Kutta-Nyström (DIRKN) method for the time integration of the resulting nonlinear second-order system of ordinary differential equations. The proposed method has fourth order accuracy in both space and time variables and is unconditionally stable. Numerical results obtained from solving several problems possessing periodic, kinks, single and double-soliton waves show that the combination of a compact finite difference approximation of fourth order and a fourth-order A-stable DIRKN method gives an efficient algorithm for solving these problems. 相似文献

Synthesis and characterization of bis[2‐(arylimino)‐1,3‐thiazolidin‐4‐ones] are described. The one‐pot, pseudo‐five‐component reaction of an aliphatic diamine, isothiocyanatobenzene, and dialkyl but‐2‐ynedioate at room temperature in anhydrous CH2Cl2 gives the title compound in relatively high yield. Under the same conditions, aromatic 1,2‐diamines yield 2‐(arylimino)‐N‐(enaminoaryl)‐1,3‐thiazolidin‐4‐ones in a pseudo‐four‐component reaction. Their structures were corroborated spectroscopically (IR, 1H‐ and 13C‐NMR, and EI‐MS) and by elemental analyses. A plausible mechanism for this type of cyclization is proposed (Scheme 3). 相似文献

investigation reports modeling of HCl in the 2-propanol + water mixed solvent system with the Pitzer, PSC and an extended
form of the PSC ion-interaction approaches using the experimental potentiometric data from a cell containing pH glass membrane
and Ag/AgCl electrodes. The electrochemical measurements were performed over the HCl molality range from 0.01 to 4.5 mol⋅kg−1 in mixed 2-propanol (x%)+water (100−x%) solvents, with different solvent percent mass fractions (x%=10,20,30,40 and 50%) at 298.15±0.05 K. 相似文献
