The anodic oxidation of caffeic acid in the presence of acetylacetone or methyl acetoacetate in aqueous solution has been studied by cyclic voltammetry and controlled-potential electrolysis techniques. The result showed that caffeic acid was oxidized to the corresponding o-benzoquinone, which underwent further Michael-addition with acetylacetone or methyl acetoacetate to produce caffeic acid derivative 3,4-dihydroxy-6-(1-acetylacetone)-yl cinnamic acid 4a or 3,4-dihydroxy-6-(1-acetyl-methylacetate)-yl cinnamic acid 4b. 相似文献

A procedure for the preconcentration of copper was described in this paper using multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) oxidized by potassium permanganate as the adsorbent for the enrichment of trace copper in water samples. Important parameters, such as the sample pH, the concentration and volume of eluent, sample flow rate and volume, and interference of coexisting ions, were investigated. The obtained results indicated that proposed method possessed an excellent analytical performance. The linear range, the detection limit, and precison (RSD) were 1-100 ng/mL (R2 = 0.9993), 0.32 ng/mL and 2.88%, respectively. The results showed that copper could be adsorbed quantitatively on the pretreated MWCNTs with potassium permanganate, and proposed method was very useful in the monitoring of copper in the environment. 相似文献

A second-order nonlinear optical polyurethane was formed with an X-type multi-dimensional charge-transfer (CT) chromophore (DNPIPDHPI) and 3,3′-dimethoxy-4,4′-diphenyl diisocyanate. Simultaneous poling and polymerization and in situ second harmonic generation (SHG) measurement technique was carried on to evaluate the thermal stability of the poling induced orientation. The SHG signal of the poled polymer film was not decay below 150 °C and remains 90% of relative d33 value at 200 °C, which is better than the results reported in literature. Comparison of thermal stability indicates that the X-type chromophores possess better property in controlling the decay of the SHG activity than classic chromophores. 相似文献

A comb-structured polymeric flocculant was synthesized by the aqueous copolymerization of N-vinylformamide (NVF) with poly(dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate) quats (methyl chloride) macromonomer. The effects of temperature
and macromonomer concentration on the copolymerization kinetics were determined experimentally. The copolymerization reactivity
ratio was measured to be 3.82 and 6.39 for NVF and macromonomers with 50 and 100 repeating units when copolymerized with NVF.
The copolymer samples were also subjected to a flocculation performance test and were found to be more effective than linear
random cationic copolymers in terms of cationic content, flocculation rate, final turbidity levels, and floc strength.

Reaction schemes have been developed that lead to clusters having the topology of the PN cluster of nitrogenase. The single cubane clusters [(Tp)MFe3S4Cl3]z (M = Mo, z = 1-; M = V, z = 2-) react with PEt3 to give [(Tp)MFe3S4(PEt3)3]1+, which are reduced to the neutral edge-bridged double cubanes [(Tp)2M2Fe6S8(PEt3)4] with highly reduced (2[MFe3S4]1+) cores. Reaction of these clusters in acetonitrile with (Et4N)(HS) results in the formation of [(Tp)2Mo2Fe6S9(SH)2]3- and [(Tp)2V2Fe6S9(SH)2]4-. X-ray structures of the Et4N+ salts reveal the bridging pattern M2Fe6(mu2-S)2(mu3-S)6(mu6-S) in which two cuboidal MFe3(mu3-S)3 units share the common bridge atom mu6-S and are externally bridged by two mu2-S atoms. The M sites possess trigonal octahedral, and the Fe sites, distorted tetrahedral coordination. Hydrosulfide ligands and sulfide atoms simulate terminal cysteinate ligation and mu2 bridges, respectively, in the protein-bound cluster Fe8S7(mu2-SCys)2(SCys)4. The synthetic clusters have the same bridging pattern as the PN cluster and approach congruency with it. These clusters are the first molecular topological analogues of a PN cluster. The radiation-induced hybrid polymerization in the presence of the N-alkoxypyridinium salt having relatively stable nonnucleophilic anion (PF6−) has been investigated in the paper. Based on the analysis of experimental data and the GPC spectrum, the onium salts not only oxidize -alkoxyalkyl radicals, produced from IBVE in dichloromethane by irradiation, to the corresponding cations, but also give nonnucleophilic anions PF6− for the polymerization system. The experimental results clearly demonstrate that free radical and cationic polymerization mechanisms occurred simultaneously in IBVE/EMP+PF6−/CH2Cl2 systems on irradiation with γ-ray. 相似文献

The mercuration of a series of aryliminomethylferrocenes occurred predominantly in an ortho-position of the substituted ferrocenyl ring to yield 2-mercurated ferrocenylimines. The regiospecificity of this reaction suggests that the mercury is directed into the ortho-position by coordination of the mercury to imino nitrogen with subsequent electrophilic substitution. The chromatographic and spectral properties of the 2-mercurated products show the presence of an intramolecular N → Hg coordination via the five-membered ring in these molecules, which was further confirmed by the single-crystal structure analysis of 2-chloromercuro-1-[(4-methoxyphenylimino)methyl]ferrocene. 相似文献

A multifunctional sialyltransferase has been cloned from Pasteurella multocida strain P-1059 and expressed in E. coli as a truncated C-terminal His6-tagged recombinant protein (tPm0188Ph). Biochemical studies indicate that the obtained protein is (1) an alpha2,3-sialyltransferase (main function), (2) an alpha2,6-sialyltransferase, (3) an alpha2,3-sialidase, and (4) an alpha2,3-trans-sialidase.
