Differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetric analysis investigation of the thermal properties and degradation of some radiation‐grafted films and membranes

The influence of irradiation and grafting on the crystallinity of three base polymers has been investigated with differential scanning calorimetry. Grafting has the largest effect on the base polymer crystallinity and results in a reduction of the crystallinity. The thermal degradation of the base polymers and grafted films has been investigated with thermogravimetric analysis. The extent of the fluorination of the base polymer, the irradiation method, and the graft level all influence the thermal degradation and its activation energy. It is proposed that the variation of the chain lengths of the grafted polystyrene chains is actually a primary underlying factor responsible for the influence of these various parameters on the degradation process. The first results of a comparative thermal analysis of some fuel‐cell membranes are also presented, and the promise and shortcomings of this method are discussed. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Colorimetric recognition of different enzymology-concerning transition metals based on a hybrid cluster complex.

A hybrid cluster complex, formed by chelating a chromogenic ligand to a [2Fe-2S] cluster, sensitively exhibited differential colorimetric responses towards Hg2+, Cd2+, Cr3+, Pb2, Sn2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Fe3+ and Co2+ in water at physiological pH. Speciation of some of these metal elements, such as Cr(III) and Sn(IV), was also studied by UV/Vis absorption.

反射式微光机电系统是微光机电系统中的重要组成部分,近年来得到了较快的发展。介绍了反射式微光机电系统(MOEMS)的研究现状和最新进展。根据反射式微光机电系统的分类,列举了一些具有代表性的反射式MOEMS器件。简要介绍了反射式MOEMS的加工工艺;阐述了反射式MOEMS的应用领域;展望了发展前景。     

基于Apollo信号控制台的NQR炸药探测方法

介绍了一种基于Apollo信号控制台的核四极矩共振（NQR）炸药探测方法，描述了系统的结构组成、工作原理和实现方法，并给出了对RDX的测试试验结果. 试验表明该方法可实现对RDX信号的探测.     

掺杂偶氮苯聚合物光致异构Z扫描测量及其理论解释

用He_Ne激光对掺有偶氮苯聚合物DR 13的PMMA薄膜样品进行Z扫描研究 ,发现其折射率改变量与光强的关系存在着饱和效应 ,且线偏振光引起的折射率改变明显大于圆偏振光引起的折射率改变 .对于这些现象 ,用光致异构的角烧孔机理进行解释     

A New Triterpene from the Orchid Pholidota yunnanensis

A new triterpene, 25-methylenecyclopholidonyl p-hydroxy-trans-cinnamate, was isolated from a orchid Pholidota yunnanensis. The structure elucidation and ^1H, ^13C-NMR assignments were achieved by spectral and chemical method.     

Baker＇s Yeast Mediated Reduction of Optically Active Diketone

Baker‘s yeast mediated reduction of optically active diketone is described. The two keto groups are efficiently differentiated and the ee value of the recovered material is considerably raised. It affords highly optically active key intermediates efficiently for the synthesis of natural polyhydroxylated agarofuran products.     

Dynamic boundary stabilization of a Reissner–Mindlin plate with Timoshenko beam

This paper is concerned with well‐posedness results for a mathematical model for the transversal vibrations of a two‐dimensional hybrid elastic structure consisting of a rectangular Reissner–Mindlin plate with a Timoshenko beam attached to its free edge. The model incorporates linear dynamic feedback controls along the interface between the plate and the beam. Classical semigroup methods are employed to show the unique solvability of the coupled initial‐boundary‐value problem. We also show that the energy associated with the system exhibits the property of strong stability. Copyright © 2004 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

Artificial boundary conditions for Petrovsky systems of second order in exterior domains and in other domains of conical type

The approximation of solutions to boundary value problems on unbounded domains by those on bounded domains is one of the main applications for artificial boundary conditions. Based on asymptotic analysis, here a new method is presented to construct local artificial boundary conditions for a very general class of elliptic problems where the main asymptotic term is not known explicitly. Existence and uniqueness of approximating solutions are proved together with asymptotically precise error estimates. One class of important examples includes boundary value problems for anisotropic elasticity and piezoelectricity. Copyright © 2004 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

多小波子空间上的单小波表示

本文在较弱的条件下,建立了2重多小波子空间与单小波子空间的关系.即由2重多小波构造出单小波.一方面,这种单小波的平移伸缩与2重多小波的平移伸缩生成的子空间是完全相同的;另一方面,它具有插值性.因此通过构造出的单小波建立了多小波子空间上的Shannon型采样定理.
