Quadrature demodulation-based phase rotation beamforming (QD-PRBF) is commonly used to support dynamic receive focusing in medical ultrasound systems. However, it is computationally demanding since it requires two demodulation filters for each receive channel. To reduce the computational requirements of QD-PRBF, we have previously developed two-stage demodulation (TSD), which reduces the number of lowpass filters by performing demodulation filtering on summation signals. However, it suffers from image quality degradation due to aliasing at lower beamforming frequencies. To improve the performance of TSD-PRBF with reduced number of beamforming points, we propose a new adaptive field-of-view (AFOV) imaging method. In AFOV imaging, the beamforming frequency is adjusted depending on displayed FOV size and the center frequency of received signals. To study its impact on image quality, simulation was conducted using Field II, phantom data were acquired from a commercial ultrasound machine, and the image quality was quantified using spatial (i.e., axial and lateral) and contrast resolution. The developed beamformer (i.e., TSD-AFOV-PRBF) with 1024 beamforming points provided comparable image resolution to QD-PRBF for typical FOV sizes (e.g., 4.6% and 1.3% degradation in contrast resolution for 160 mm and 112 mm, respectively for a 3.5 MHz transducer). Furthermore, it reduced the number of operations by 86.8% compared to QD-PRBF. These results indicate that the developed TSD-AFOV-PRBF can lower the computational requirement for receive beamforming without significant image quality degradation. 相似文献

Lanthanide (Ln3+) doped BaYF5 (Ln=Yb3+, Er3+, Tm3+) nanocrystals (NCs) with a mean size of approximately 10 nm are synthesized by a solvothermal method using oleic acid as a stabilizing agent at 210 °C. The size of BaYF5 NCs can be controlled by simply tuning the reaction parameters such as reaction temperature, reaction time and the molar ratio of F−/Y3+. The detailed structure investigation reveals that the as-synthesized BaYF5 NCs are in the cubic structure with space group Fm3¯m instead of the reported tetragonal structure. Ln3+ cations occupy crystal lattice positions with lower point symmetry, which may lead to high upconversion efficiency under the excitation of a 980 nm diode laser. By adjusting the dopant concentrations of Yb3+, Er3+ and Tm3+, intense near-infrared, blue, yellow and white upconversion emissions are readily realized, respectively. The desirable property of the ultrasmall monodisperse NCs makes it the promising material for the applications in miniaturized solid-state light sources, multicolor three-dimensional display devices and fluorescent labels for biomedicine imaging. 相似文献

The anisotropy of the angular distribution of gamma-rays from the decay of156Tb, oriented in a gadolinium matrix at low temperatures, has been measured at the angles of 0 and π/2 with respect to the applied magnetic field direction in the range of temperatures from 14·6 to 68·4 mK. The temperature dependence of anisotropy was measured for the first time. The parameters of hyperfine magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole splittings have been determined and the values of the magnetic dipole moment ¦Μ156¦=(9·6±1·3)×10?27 J/T and the electric quadrupole momentQ 156=(2·9±0·9)×10?28 m2 of the156Tb ground state have been calculated. The variational method is applied to calculate the dispersion characteristics of disc-loaded waveguide slow-wave structures. The parameters describing the waveguide discontinuities in disc-loaded waveguide are calculated by the variational method. Then the dispersion characteristics of slow-wave structures are obtained using lossless microwave quadrupole theory. Good agreement was observed between results of the variational method and those of field matching method and high frequency structure simulator. The EI Ni\~{n}o/La Ni\~{n}a--Southern Oscillation (ENSO) is an
interannual phenomenon involved in the tropical Pacific
ocean--atmosphere interactions. In this paper, a class of coupled
system of the ENSO mechanism is considered. Based on a class of
oscillator of ENSO model, the asymptotic solution of a corresponding
problem is studied by employing the approximate method. It is proved
from the results that the perturbation method can be used for
analysing the sea surface temperature anomaly in the equatorial
eastern Pacific and the thermocline depth anomaly of the

Electroluminescent intensity and external quantum efficiency (EQE) in ultraviolet organic light‐emitting diodes (UV OLEDs) have been remarkably enhanced by using a graded hole‐injection and ‐transporting (HIT) structure of MoO3/N,N ′‐bis(naphthalen‐1‐yl)‐N,N ′‐bis(phenyl)‐benzidine/MoO3/4,4′‐bis(carbazol‐9‐yl)biphenyl (CBP). The graded‐HIT based UV OLED shows superior short‐wavelength emis‐ sion with spectral peak of ~410 nm, maximum electroluminescent intensity of 2.2 mW/cm2 at 215 mA/cm2 and an EQE of 0.72% at 5.5 mA/cm2. Impedance spectroscopy is employed to clarify the enhanced hole‐injection and ‐transporting capacity of the graded‐HIT structure.
