Superconducting films of Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O on (100) MgO substrates have been fabricated by XeCl-excimer-laser sputtering from ceramic targets of Bi2.5Sr2Ca2Cu3Oy in O2 atmosphere. The films were polycrystalline with the c-axis (30.80±0.02Å) preferably oriented normal to the substrate surface. Without post-annealing the films showed metallic resistance behavior with zero resistance temperatures of up to Tc(0) }- 79 K. The critical current density of the films had values of up to jc(50K)}- 104 A/cm2. 相似文献

Automatic segmentation and classification of color images is a problem of great practical interest in different areas. This
paper presents an algorithm for this purpose which is divided in three steps. Firstly, the regions of interest are isolated
from the rest of the image based on threshold functions defined in theYUV andYIQ color spaces, producing a set of connected components. Then, a set of features is computed to enable a quantitative evaluation
of the segmented objects. Finally, the image is classified by means of a decision rule based on the analysis of the differences
between the computed measures and a set of ideally segmented images, according to experts’ assessment. The algorithm was applied
to a decision support tool for estrus detection in cattle. This approach constitutes a valuable alternative to improve this
process, as it may replace the visual observation by the automatic analysis of pictures taken to cows in controlled environments.
Experimental results show that the segmentations obtained with this method are highly satisfactory and they allow a precise

μ+ SR-measurements in transversally applied magnetic fields of 2000 G and 4000 G on heavy-electron single crystal U2Zn17 are presented. They reveal that at least two types of interstitial sites are occupied by the positive muons. One of these
sites (1/3, 2/3, 5/6) could be identified via induced local dipolar fields which aboveT
N=9.7 K can exactly be derived from the magnetic susceptibility. The corresponding component of the μ+-signal exhibits a steplike decrease by about 40% atT
N which is caused by the onset of a very broad distribution of static internal magnetic fields (ΔB≈1000 G) with zero average. Such a field distribution is in distinct contrast to dipolar-field calculations performed for
the simple antiferromagnetic structure deduced from neutron diffraction. The remaining 60% of the muons contributing to this
component belowT
N are subject to a narrow static field distribution (ΔB≈1 G). The induced dipolar fields at the site (1/3, 2/3, 5/6) are temperature-independent belowT
N. A weak dipolar coupling to the U-moments renders similar observations for muons occupying the second type of interstitial

The composting of organic solid waste, the mixture of fruit and vegetable leftovers enriched with night soil, was investigated
in a closed thermally insulated reactor. It was found that 80.9 % of the original substrate biodegraded after 14 days. A mathematical
model of the column reactor was proposed where the biodegradation rate of the organic solid waste was described using simple
n-thorder kinetics. A good prediction of process performance was obtained using the proposed kinetics and experimentally obtained
reaction heat.

The resistance to slow crack growth (SCG) was measured in binary blends of high density polyethylene (HDPE) and 5–10% concentrations of model ethylene-butene random copolymers by measuring the time to failure (tf) under a constant stress intensity. An increase of tf with the addition of the copolymer if the copolymer could crystallize and the increase was greater the higher branch density. The copolymer with 117 branches/1000C could not crystallize and therefore its blend had a tf that was less than that of the HDPE. The fracture energies of the blends as determined by their resistance to SCG were compared with the energy by rapid fracture, Jc, as previously measured by Rhee and Crist. It is concluded that SCG is more sensitive to variations in the microstructure than is rapid fracture and that the differences in SCG behavior can be qualitatively explained in terms of the differences in microstructure of the blends. ©1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 相似文献
