When two benzene rings are fused to a tetraaryl‐o‐quinodimethane skeleton, sterically hindered helical molecules 1 acquire a high thermodynamic stability. Because the tetraarylbutadiene subunit contains electron‐donating alkoxy groups, 1 undergo reversible two‐electron oxidation to 2 2+, which can be isolated as deeply colored stable salts. Intramolecular transfer of the point chirality (e.g., sec‐butyl) on the aryl groups to helicity induces a diastereomeric preference in dications 2 b 2+ and 2 c 2+, which represents an efficient method for enhancing circular‐dichroism signals. Thus, those redox pairs can serve as new electrochiroptical response systems. X‐ray analysis of dication 2 2+ revealed π–π stacking interaction of the diarylmethylium moieties, which is also present in solution. The stacking geometry is the key contributor to the chirosolvatochromic response.  相似文献

Chlorophyll-a derivatives possessing an un/mono/disubstituted methylene moiety at the 131-position were prepared by (un)substituted methylation of the 13-carbonyl group and successive dehydration. Substitution of the 131-oxo to the methylene group slightly blue-shifted electronic absorption and emission bands in a solution and decreased chemical stability to give an oxidation product cleaved at the E-ring. Further mono/disubstitution at the methylene terminal increased wavelengths of absorption and emission maxima as well as oxidative tolerance.  相似文献

Post‐polymerization C? H activation of poly(quinoxaline‐2,3‐diyl)‐based helically chiral phosphine ligands (PQXphos) with palladium(II) acetate afforded chiral phosphapalladacycles quantitatively. In situ generated palladacycles exhibited enantioselectivities up to 94 % ee in the palladium‐catalyzed asymmetric ring‐opening arylation of 1,4‐epoxy‐1,4‐dihydronaphthalenes with arylboronic acids.  相似文献

Transition metal complexes ML2 (26) [where M = Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II), Pd(II) and HL = allyl-2-(4-benzyloxyphenylmethylene)hydrazine carbodithioate (1)] have been prepared by the reaction of the ligand with metal ions in 2:1 molar ratio and characterized by physicochemical techniques and spectroscopic methods. The crystal structures of the free ligand and its nickel(II) complex 2 have been determined by X-ray diffractometry. The ligand exists in its thione tautomeric form both in solution and in the solid state. In complex 2, square-planar coordination of nickel(II) was achieved by two chelating ligand moieties coordinating through the azomethine nitrogen and the deprotonated thione sulphur atom. Based on the crystal structures of analogous dithiocarbazate species, a square-planar geometry was assumed for the copper(II) and palladium(II) complexes, and a tetrahedral coordination sphere for the zinc(II) and cadmium(II) derivatives. The in vitro bactericidal activity suggests that the palladium(II) complex is strongly active against two bacteria. The cadmium(II) complex is moderately cytotoxic with an LC50 value of 409 μg/ml, but less active than gallic acid, LC50 = 78 μg/ml.  相似文献

We report a catalytic, light‐driven method for the intramolecular hydroetherification of unactivated alkenols to furnish cyclic ether products. These reactions occur under visible‐light irradiation in the presence of an IrIII‐based photoredox catalyst, a Brønsted base catalyst, and a hydrogen‐atom transfer (HAT) co‐catalyst. Reactive alkoxy radicals are proposed as key intermediates, generated by direct homolytic activation of alcohol O?H bonds through a proton‐coupled electron‐transfer mechanism. This method exhibits a broad substrate scope and high functional‐group tolerance, and it accommodates a diverse range of alkene substitution patterns. Results demonstrating the extension of this catalytic system to carboetherification reactions are also presented.  相似文献

Titanium complexes were prepared by the reaction of 2,2′-thiobis(6-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol) (TBP) with TiCl4 or Ti(OPri)4. These complexes in combination with methyalumoxane as cocatalyst are highly active towards ethylene and propene, giving polymers having high molecular weights. The polymerization activities for ethylene and propene are comparable to those of Cp2ZrCl2-MAO catalyst. Polypropylene obtained had extremely high molecular weight (Mw>6 million) and low regioregularity (30% of head-to-head and tail-to-tail linkages). Highly syndiotactic polystyrene was obtained with these catalysts with activity up to 27 kg polymer per g Ti and hour. Copolymerization of styrene with ethylene gave highly alternating copolymer with isotactic styrene units. These catalysts are also active toward both conjugated and nonconjugated dienes such as butadiene and 1,5-hexadiene. Polybutadiene had mainly cis-1,4-structure (98%). The structure of poly(1,5-hexadiene) is rather complicated, which is quite different from that prepared with heterogeneous TiCl3 catalysts.  相似文献

Highly isotactic (it-) and highly syndiotactic (st-) poly(methyl methacrylate)s (PMMAs) uniform with respect to molecular weight (stereoregular, uniform PMMAs) were isolated up to the 100mer from it- and st-PMMAs by supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) and characterized by NMR and mass spectroscopies. Glass transition temperatures (Tg's) of the uniform it- and st-PMMAs were higher than those of the corresponding PMMAs with MWD and with similar molecular weight on average. The Tg values of the uniform it-and st-PMMAs series obeyed the relationship, Tg = Tg∞ - K/M, where M and Tg∞ denote molecular weight and Tg at infinite M, respectively. The reciprocal melting points (1/Tm) of uniform it-PMMA (degree of polymerization, DP = 28–44), obtained from methanol solutions by evaporating the solvent, increased linearly with increasing 1/DP. Extrapolation of the linear relation to 1/DP = 0 gave the Tm of it-PMMA with infinite DP; Tm∞ = 171.1°C. Thermal degradation behavior was studied by thermogravimetry and by SFC analysis of degradation products. In gel-permeation chromatography (GPC) measurements, the it-50mer eluted faster than the st-50mer. Calibration curves for it- and st-PMMAs could be obtained using series of the uniform PMMAs. The instrumental spreading factor determined using it-25mer, it-50mer, st-25mer and st-50mer for our GPC chromatograph was 0.070 ml when the volume of the sample solution was 0.003ml. GPC analysis of a mixture of the it- and st-50mers in tetrahydrofuran indicated formation of a stereocomplex in the solution, and was found quite useful to elucidate the minimum sequence length required for complex formation.  相似文献

Alignment error of an image sensor relative to the optical axis of a star sensor head and alignment errors between four heads were calculated from pictures taken in an orbital experiment. When comparing the image sensor alignment parameters in the orbital test and a ground test, both values matched well. By determining the relative relationship of the four heads using four pictures taken at the same moment in orbit and uploading the parameters to the star sensor system in orbit, the estimated attitude error was improved from 0.29 to 0.17°, though the accuracy was limited by the ±0.2° determination accuracy of the satellite itself. We estimated the attitude determination accuracy from separation angles between boresights of the four heads, calculated from pattern matching between downloaded pictures and a star catalogue. The estimated accuracy, in terms of potential optical performance, was 0.60 arcmin at 3σ, which is sufficient to satisfy the specification of 1 arcmin.  相似文献
