The host compounds 1,1’-binaphthyl-2,2′-dihydroxy-5,5′-dicarboxylic acid (1) and 1,1′-binaphthyl-2,2′-dihydroxy-6,6′-dicarboxylic acid (2) have been synthesized, and their inclusion properties have been studied. Inclusion complexes formed by 1 and 2 with volatile guests such as acetone and methanol release the guests only at much higher temperatures than their boiling points. The crystal structures of the inclusion complexes have been determined from single crystal X-ray diffraction data and show different host lattices.  相似文献

The glutamic acid moiety of N-[4-[3-(2,4-diamino-7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-5-yl)propyl]benzoyl]-L-g lutamic acid (1b, TNP-351) and the related compound (1a), was replaced with various N(omega)-acyl-, sulfonyl-, carbamoyl- and aryl-2,omega-diaminoalkanoic acids, and the inhibitory effects of the resulting products (9, 11, 14, 18, 21, 23, 25, 30, 36) on dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR), the growth of murine fibrosarcoma Meth A cells, and methotrexate-resistant human CCRF-CEM cells, were examined. Compounds (9a-f) acylated with a hemiphthaloyl group were efficiently synthesized by coupling pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine carboxylic acids (7a,b) and N(omega)-phthaloyl 2,omega-diaminoalkanoic acid methyl esters (6a-c) and subsequent hydrolysis. The other N(omega)-acyl- and sulfonyl-ornithine analogs (21, 23, 25) were synthesized by acylation of free amino intermediates (19a,b) derived from tert-butoxycarbonyl-ornithine analogs (17a,b). A free ornithine analog (18) did not strongly inhibit Meth A cell growth, whereas all N(omega)-acyl-, sulfonyl-, carbamoyl- and aryl-ornithine analogs (9, 11, 21, 23, 25, 30, 36) exhibited much more potent inhibitory activities against both DHFR and Meth A cell growth. In particular, compounds 9c, 21k and 36a also showed remarkable growth-inhibitory activities against methotrexate-resistant CCRF-CEM cells. These results demonstrate that the potent inhibitory activities of N(omega)-masked ornithine analogs against the growth of Meth A cells and methotrexate-resistant CCRF-CEM cells, results from effective uptake via reduced folate carrier and their potent DHFR inhibition.  相似文献

The viscoelasticity of a fluid was tuned with the Faradaic reaction of (11-ferrocenylundecyl)trimethylammonium bromide (FTMA), a "redox-switchable" surfactant. An aqueous solution of the reduced form of FTMA exhibited a remarkable viscoelasticity in the presence of sodium salicylate (NaSal) because of the formation of three-dimensional entanglement of wormlike micelles. Electrolytic oxidation of FTMA caused the viscosity of the system to dramatically decrease and the elasticity to disappear. This drastic decrease in viscoelasticity arose from the disruption of wormlike micelles. This novel electrorheological phenomenon is expected to be applicable to ink for inkjet printers, the electrochemically controlled release of substances entrapped in wormlike micelles of FTMA, and fluid flow rate control using electric signals.  相似文献

Thyroid scintigraphy in rats and mice with 99mTc and 123I was attempted to examine whether this modality might be used in small animals and to describe the possibilities of its application in examining experimentally produced thyroid diseases. A human gamma camera with a pinhole collimator improved for small animals was used for imaging. Thyroid images with 99mTc were obtained 20 minutes after injection and those with 123I were 24 hours after administration. All the scintigrams, although those obtained from mice with 99mTc displayed overlapped salivary gland images, demonstrated sufficiently clear images in size and shape, which showed that thyroid scintigraphy in small animals should be applicable in examining experimentally produced thyroid diseases.  相似文献

We report a novel methodology for rapid and quantitative screening of O-glycosylation reactions of application to the analysis of parallel reaction systems. Our system exploits perdeuterated benzyl (Bn-d7) ether, and stereoselectivity and yield are evaluated by 1H NMR and MALDI-TOF MS, respectively. An interconnecting technique, the "PDMS connection method", for quartz microchips in a high-pressure system is presented. The connection between quartz microchips is an essential technology for modular microfluidic devices, such as microchip-HPLC. PDMS was applied to the seal material, being spread on the seal side of the chips, and set into the metal housing. The characteristics of the PDMS connection method concerning pressure resistance and the extension of the peak were examined. The experimental results showed a good seal at 5 MPa, which seem to be sufficient for realizing microchip-HPLC utilizing a monolithic silica capillary column as a separation medium. The influence of the extra column effect on chromatographic separation was almost the same as in the case using a commercial union fitting. In addition, the PDMS connection enabled the detachability of chip-based modules with user-friendliness. Our experimental findings suggest that the novel PDMS connection method can possibly be applied as a generic technology in high-pressure microTAS.  相似文献
