Wittig reaction of (E)-3-(3-guaiazulenyl)propenal (11) with (3-guaiazulenylmethyl)triphenylphosphonium bromide (9) in ethanol containing NaOEt at 25 °C for 24 h under argon gives the title new (2E,4E)-1,3-butadiene derivative 4, in 33% isolated yield, which upon treatment with hexafluorophosphoric acid (i.e., 65% HPF6 aqueous solution) in tetrahydrofuran (=THF) at 25 °C for 1 h under aerobic conditions affords a new air (two-electron) oxidation product (E)-ethylene-1,2-bis(3-guaiazulenylmethylium) bis(hexafluorophosphate) (14), quantitatively, and further, zinc-reduction of 14 in trifluoroacetic acid (=CF3COOH) at 0 °C for 1 h under argon reverts 4, quantitatively. Along with the above interesting results, our discovered another preparation method, spectroscopic properties, crystal structure, and electrochemical behavior of 4, which serves as a strong two-electron donor and acceptor, compared with those of the previously reported (E)-1,2-di(3-guaiazulenyl)ethylene (3) are documented in detail.  相似文献

Two-photon ionization and recombination processes of an aromatic chromophore doped in polymer films werestudied and the features of these processes were discussed in relation to photofunctional polymers, An aromatic moleculehaving low ionization potential, e.g., N,N,N',N'-tetramethyl-p-phenylene diamine doped in poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA) film was easily photoionized by intense laser ligh excitation, giving a colored radical cation (photochromism) anda trapped electron in PMMA matrix. As a reversed process, the radical cation recombined with the trapped electron, showingdiscoloration and emitting luminescence, either isothermal luminescence (ITL), or thermoluminescence (TL). In this report,ITL and TL through the charge recombination process were studied and the luminescence was suggested as a mean of the read-out of photorecording.  相似文献

Methyl (2), ethyl (3), propyl (4), butyl (5), allyl (6), benzyl (7), o-, m-, p-xylyl (8-10), and alpha-phenylethyl (11) derivatives of arabinofuranosyluracil (1) were synthesized and their pharmacological effects in mice were examined by using hypnotic activity and synergism with pentobarbital as indices for the CNS depressant effects. At a dose of 2.0 micromol/mouse by intracerebroventricular injection, the values of mean sleeping time induced by 7-11 were 144, 154, 117, 33, and 34 min, respectively, whereas the alkyl (2-6) derivatives did not cause any hypnotic activity. N3-o-Xylylarabinofuranosyluracil (8) displayed the most potent hypnotic activity among the derivatives tested. Certain derivatives (6-11) significantly prolonged the pentobarbital-induced sleeping time compared to control. The present study indicated that substitution with benzyl and/or related groups on the N3-position of arabinofuranosyluracil produced CNS depressant effects.  相似文献

We report on the development of a hybrid polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)-glass microchip for genetic analysis by functional integration of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and capillary gel electrophoresis (CGE), and on related temperature control systems for PCR on a PDMS-glass hybrid microchip. The microchip was produced by molding PDMS against a microfabricated master with comparatively simple and inexpensive methods. PCR was successfully carried out on the PDMS-glass hybrid microchip with 500 bp target of lambdaDNA and the amplified gene was subsequently analyzed by CGE on the same PDMS-glass microchip. The chip could be considered as an inexpensive single-use apparatus compared to glass or silicon-made microchips for the same purpose.  相似文献

A survey was conducted to determine the incidence of tetracycline antibiotic (TCAs) residues in the kidneys of slaughtered animals that did not pass inspection for human consumption by the Japanese Food Sanitation Law and the Meat Inspection Law at the slaughterhouses in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, from April 1985 to March 1998. The kidneys were analyzed by the AOAC Official Method 995.09. Among 424 animals (147 cattle and 277 pigs), 131 (30.9%) were contaminated with TCAs, including 69 (16.3%) with chlortetracycline (CTC), 61 (14.4%) with oxytetracycline (OTC), 3 (0.7%) with tetracycline (TC), and 1 (0.2%) with doxycycline (DC). One sample (cattle kidney) was contaminated with both OTC and DC. The frequencies of OTC and TC residues were significantly higher (p < 0.05) in cattle than in pigs, whereas, the frequency of CTC was significantly higher (p < 0.01) in pigs. Pig kidney samples collected in 1991-1997 had significantly higher incidences of TCAs and CTC (p < 0.01) residues than those in 1985-1986.  相似文献

A monomeric titanocene(III) derivative, Cp(2)TiPh, effectively promoted the pinacol coupling of both an aromatic aldehyde, benzaldehyde, and an aliphatic aldehyde, 3-phenylpropionaldehyde. The same reactive complex was successfully generated by a catalytic amount of a precursor, Cp(2)Ti(Ph)Cl, and its stoichiometric amount of Zn. The Cp(2)TiPh-catalyzed pinacol coupling of benzaldehyde derivatives and aliphatic aldehydes afforded the corresponding 1,2-diols in high yields with moderate to good threo-selectivity. On the other hand, Cp(2)TiPh-catalyzed pinacol cyclization of dials gave cyclic 1,2-diols with excellent diastereoselectivity. The extension of this protocol to chiral dials demonstrated that the phenyltitanium complex catalytically transmitted an axial chirality or a central chirality of the starting dials to the central chirality of the resultant 1,2-diols.  相似文献

The photocycloaddition reaction of naphthyl-N-(naphthylcarbonyl)carboxamides (1) was examined under argon and oxygen atmospheres. In addition to the [2 + 2] and [4 + 4] cycloadducts, 3 and 4, respectively, novel 1,8-epidioxides (5) were formed under oxygen atmosphere. The transient absorption at lambda max of 360 nm with the lifetime of 360 ns was observed by laser flash photolysis of 1c and was interpreted as the absorption of biradical intermediate 2. On the basis of the anti stereochemistry of 5, which was different from that of the major [4 + 4] cycloadducts, syn-4, it was deduced that equilibrium between biradical intermediates syn-2 and anti-2 would exist. Retro [2 + 2] cycloaddition of 3 was responsible for the efficient trapping of the biradical intermediate with molecular oxygen. The photocycloaddition of the anthryl derivatives, 9-anthryl-N-(methylethyl)-N-(naphthylcarbonyl)carboxamides (7), afforded the [4 + 4] cycloadducts (8) exclusively in a quantitative yield even under oxygen atmosphere. The absence of trapping with molecular oxygen was interpreted to be due to the lack of retro [4 + 4] cycloaddition of 8.  相似文献

In order to realize artificial photosynthetic devices for splitting water to H2 and O2 (2 H2O+→2 H2+O2), it is desirable to use a wider wavelength range of light that extends to a lower energy region of the solar spectrum. Here we report a triruthenium photosensitizer [Ru3(dmbpy)6(μ‐HAT)]6+ (dmbpy=4,4′‐dimethyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine, HAT=1,4,5,8,9,12‐hexaazatriphenylene), which absorbs near‐infrared light up to 800 nm based on its metal‐to‐ligand charge transfer (1MLCT) transition. Importantly, [Ru3(dmbpy)6(μ‐HAT)]6+ is found to be the first example of a photosensitizer which can drive H2 evolution under the illumination of near‐infrared light above 700 nm. The electrochemical and photochemical studies reveal that the reductive quenching within the ion‐pair adducts of [Ru3(dmbpy)6(μ‐HAT)]6+ and ascorbate anions affords a singly reduced form of [Ru3(dmbpy)6(μ‐HAT)]6+, which is used as a reducing equivalent in the subsequent water reduction process.  相似文献

Syntheses of epigallocatechin trimer, (epigallocatechin)2-epicatechin and (epigallocatechin)2-catechin were achieved. The key condensation to form the proanthocyanidin trimer derivatives was accomplished in a one-pot procedure using a dimeric epigallocatechin electrophile, which was prepared in situ by self-condensation of an epigallocatechin derivative, and an epigallocatechin, epicatechin, or catechin derivative as the nucleophile in the presence of a Lewis acid. The epigallocatechin monomer to trimer compounds containing a pyrogallol group significantly suppressed cell proliferation in PC-3 prostate cancer cells.  相似文献

A multi-beam circular dichroism (CD) detector which is easily constructed by inserting inexpensive optics into a conventional photo-diode array detector has an advantage of simultaneous detection of the absorbance and CD. The enantiomeric purity determination of malic acid in beverages was performed by this detection system. Malic acid when complexed with Cu(II) was found to have an absorbance maximum at around 750 nm. The L-malic acid-Cu(II) complex showed a positive Cotton effect in its absorbance band and its anisotropy factor (delta epsilon/epsilon) was relatively large at about 1/170. This complex was retained on a reversed-phase column with the addition of racemic 2-hydroxy-3-methylbutyric acid to the mobile phase as the ligand. A plot of the relative peak areas between the CD and the absorption (delta abs/abs) versus optical purity showed good linearity with a correlation coefficient of 0.999, and the precision expressed as the relative standard deviation of the errors from the regression line was +/-2.7% (2sigma). The accuracy of the proposed method was assessed by capillary electrophoresis. Eight commercially available juice products were analyzed using this method. Five of them were thought to be adulterated with synthetic malic acid.  相似文献
