The rate of anionic polymerization of pivalolactone with polystyrene dicarboxylates decreased with conversion, suggesting deactivation of the propagating chain end by precipitation of the polymer during polymerization. The presence of unreacted initiator was explained by slow initiation for formation of a living polymer of pivalolactone. Various factors affecting block efficiency were discussed, and high efficiency was obtained for the preparation of block copolymers containing a long pivalolactone segment by using more nucleophilic polystyrene dicarboxylates. Block copolymer of acrylonitrile and pivalolactone was prepared from polyacrylonitrile dicarboxylates.  相似文献

Reaction volumes Vo at infinite dilution and 25°C are obtained by use of a Hashitani dilatometer for protonic ionizations of buffering agents. Combined with recent finding by Hamann that the pressure dependence of the activity coefficient can be estimated by the limiting Debye-Hueckel law even at high ionic strength, one can predict the pH and pOH for these buffer solutions at high pressure.  相似文献

To investigate the intramolecular charge-transfer (ICT) process of (p-cyanophenyl)pentamethyldisilane (CPDS), laser-induced fluorescence, dispersed fluorescence, and two-color resonance enhanced two-photon ionization spectra were measured in a jet-cooled isolated condition. Dual fluorescence of CPDS was observed from a ground vibrational level in the locally excited pipi state. Similar to an emission from the charge-transfer (CT) state in solution, one of the dual emissions of the isolated molecule in the jet was assigned as the CT emission. A significant vibrational dependence on the ICT process was found as exciting vibronic levels of the molecule. It was identified that the promoting mode of the ICT process is a torsional motion of the disilanyl group with respect to the phenyl ring. It was also revealed that an effective appearance energy of the CPDS cation via the CT state is much lower than that via the locally excited pipi state suggesting that the electronic configuration of the CT state is similar to that of the cation. On the basis of an electronic configuration of the cationic state, that of the CT state was suggested to be of the (sigma(Si)(-)(Si), 2ppi) type.  相似文献

Cycloartenol ( 4 ), a natural plant sterol, was shown to be an effective membrane reinforcer; this was attributed to its conformation. We now present a conformational analysis of 4 by molecular modeling and NMR. Molecular modeling suggests that two conformations I and II coexist, differing mainly at the level of ring C, and of nearly equal energy, I and II each having ring A and B in a chair and half-chair conformation, respectively, with ring C 1,3-diplanar in I (solid-state structure as determined by X-ray crystallography) and in chair conformation in II . A complete assignment of the 1H- and 13C-NMR spectra of 4 and the entire coupling network in rings A and B is determined by various modern NMR techniques. The conformation of rings A and B thus determined is in agreement with conformations I and II . Low-temperature NMR experiments show a fast equilibrium between two conformations, presumably I and II . It is concluded, therefore, that the cyclopropane ring of 4 produces a flexibility at the level of ring C which may be important for the membrane properties.  相似文献

The reaction of manganese acetate with octacyanotungastate in an aqueous solution of concentrated acetic acid gives two new three-dimensional cyano-bridged manganese(II)-tungstate(V) bimetallic assemblies, [Mn(II)(2)(H(2)O)(2)(CH(3)COO)][W(V)(CN)(8)].2H(2)O (1) (tetragonal space group I4/mcm, a = b = 11.9628(9) A, c = 13.367(2) A, and Z = 4) and Cs(I)(0.5)Mn(II)(2)[W(V)(CN)(8)](CH(3)CO(2))(1.5).H(2)O (2) (monoclinic space group C2/c, a = 16.274(2) A, b = 22.948(6) A, c = 13.196(1) A, beta = 128.040(6) degrees, and Z = 8). In complex 1, W(V)(CN)(8) adopts a square antiprismatic geometry, and each CN group coordinates to the Mn(II) ions forming W-Mn(4)-W-Mn(4)-...columnar linkages where four sites on the Mn(II) ion with octahedral geometry are occupied by CN groups. The columns are parallel and interlock, yielding a network structure. Complex 2 contains two different coordination geometries for W(V)(CN)(8), namely, square antiprismatic and dodecahedral. The columnar structures appear also in 2, where the Mn(II) ions in two different environments provide three and four coordinated sites to the CN groups. The columns are bridged by both dodecahedral W(V)(CN)(8) groups and acetates. Cs ions were intercalated in the lattice by the formation of short attractive contacts with the acetates. The field-cooled magnetization, ac susceptibility, and the field dependence of magnetization measurements show that both 1 and 2 are ferrimagnets with ordering temperatures 40 and 45 K, respectively. The investigation of the magnetostructural correlation shows that the ferrimagnetic ordering in 1 and 2 are attributed to the dominant antiferromagnetic exchange pathways d(z)2(W)-d(x')(y')(Mn) and d(x)2(-y)2(W) - d(x')(y')(Mn).  相似文献

Novel stereoselective synthesis of 3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexanes from allenenes is presented. Treatment of N-protected 4-alkyl-4-(N-allyl)amino allenes with allyl carbonate and a catalytic amount of Pd(2)(dba)(3).CHCl(3) in MeCN leads to stereoselective formation of the 3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane framework in moderate to good yields. In order to reveal the reactivities of furopyridines, we undertook bromination and nitration of four furopyridines ( 1, 2, 3 and 4 ) whose chemical properties had been almost unknown. Bromination of 1, 2, 3 and 4 gave the corresponding trans-2,3-dibromo-2,3-dihydro derivatives 6, 8, 10 and 12 , respectively, which were converted to 3-bromofuropyridines 7, 9, 11 and 13 by treatment with sodium hydroxide in aqueous methanol. Nitration of 1 with a mixture of fuming nitric acid and sulfuric acid afforded a mixture of addition products 14a, 14b and 14c and 2-nitro derivative 15 . Both 14a and 14b were easily converted to 15 by treatment with sodium bicarbonate. Compound 2 was nitrated to give a mixture of cis- and trans-2-nitro-3-hydroxy-2,3-dihydro derivative 16a and 16b and 2-nitro derivative 17 . The cis isomer 16a was transformed to the trans isomer 16b by refluxing on silica gel in ethyl acetate. Compound 16b was dehydrated with acetic anhydride to give 17 . Nitration of 3 gave a nitrolic acid derivative 20 . Nitration of 4 gave a mixture of 2-nitro derivative 22 and 3-(trinitromethyl)pyridin-4-ol ( 23 ). The structures of 20 and 23 were established by single crystal X-ray analysis. The differences of behavior observed in these reactions are discussed in connection with the results of the determination of pKa values and the relative reactivities of deuteriodeprotonation of these furopyridines.  相似文献

Inclusion complexes (ICs) between alpha-cyclodextrin (alpha-CD) and three kinds of biodegradable aliphatic polyesters with different sequence lengths of the monomeric repeating units poly(3-hydroxypropionate) [P(3HP)], poly(4-hydroxybutyrate) [P(4HB)] and poly(epsilon-caprolactone)(PCL) were prepared by mixing a solution of alpha-CD with that of the polymer, followed by stirring. The ICs were obtained as insoluble precipitates and characterized by FT-IR, WAXD and DSC. All measurements showed that the polymer chains of all three kinds of polyester were included into the alpha-CD cavity and formed ICs with different stoichiometries. WAXD patterns and thermal analysis indicated that these ICs possessed a channel structure and the crystallization of the polyester chains was suppressed upon inclusion into the alpha-CD cavity.  相似文献

In search for potent and selective beta3-adrenergic receptor (beta3-AR) agonists as potential drugs for the treatment of type II diabetes and obesity, a novel series of 1-(3-chlorophenyl)-2-aminoethanol derivatives were prepared and evaluated for their biological activity at human beta1-, beta2-, and beta3-ARs and rat beta3-AR expressed in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells. Replacement of the right-hand side (RHS, benzene ring) in the 'first generation' beta3-AR agonists BRL 37344 and CL 316243 with a 1H-indole ring gave compound 31 with unique pharmacological properties among beta3-AR agonists. Initial in vitro assays showed that 31 possesses modest rat and human beta3-ARs agonistic activity. Introduction of various substituent into the indole nucleus of 31 afforded a number of compounds with good beta3-ARs agonistic activity. In particular, 90 having a carboxylic acid functionality at the 7-position of the indole nucleus showed the most potent human beta3-AR agonistic activity. Finally, optical resolution of 90 led to the identification of the most promising compound, [3-[(2R)-[[(2R)-(3-chlorophenyl)-2-hydroxyethyl]amino]propyl]-1H-indol-7-yloxy]acetic acid (96, AJ-9677). This compound exhibited potent human beta3-AR agonistic activity (EC50=0.062 nM, IA=116%) with 210- and 103-fold selectivity over human beta2-AR and beta1-AR, respectively. Compound 96 also exhibited potent rat beta3-AR agonistic activity (EC50=0.016 nM, IA=110%). Moreover, repeated oral administration of 96 inhibited body weight gain and significantly decreased glucose, insulin, free fatty acid, and triglyceride concentrations in plasma in KK-Ay/Ta mice. On the basis of this pharmacological profile, 96 entered clinical development as a drug for the treatment of type II diabetes and obesity.  相似文献
