In the conventional scheme of generating strong mechanical squeezing by the joint effect between mechanical parametric amplification and sideband cooling, the resolved sideband condition is required so as to overcome the quantum backaction heating. In the unresolved sideband regime, to suppress the quantum backaction, a χ(2) nonlinear medium is introduced to the cavity. The result shows that the quantum backaction heating effect caused by unwanted counter-rotating term can be completely removed. Detecting functional connectivity in the resting brain: a comparison between ICA and CCA 总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
Independent component analysis (ICA) and cross-correlation analysis (CCA) are general tools for detecting resting-state functional connectivity. In this study, we jointly evaluated these two approaches based on simulated data and in vivo functional magnetic resonance imaging data acquired from 10 resting healthy subjects. The influence of the number of independent components (maps) on the results of ICA was investigated. The influence of the selection of the seeds on the results of CCA was also examined. Our results reveal that significant differences between these two approaches exist. The performance of ICA is superior as compared with that of CCA; in addition, the performance of ICA is not significantly affected by structured noise over a relatively large range. The results of ICA could be affected by the number of independent components if this number is too small, however. Converting the spatially independent maps of ICA into z maps for thresholding tends to overestimate the false-positive rate. However, the overestimation is not very severe and may be acceptable in most cases. The results of CCA are dependent on seeds location. Seeds selected based on different criteria will significantly affect connectivity maps. 相似文献

The morphology and ultrastructure of the alimentary canal in the adult female of the Japanese wax scale, Ceroplastes japonicus Green (Hemiptera: Coccoidea: Coccidae), was investigated using light microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The results showed that the foregut was subdivided into a sclerotized pharynx and an oesophagus. A pair of salivary glands attached in the middle of the foregut. The loop-shaped midgut was narrow and longer than the foregut and its inner wall lined with a thick layer of epithelia. The hindgut was divided into a narrower ileum and a broader rectum, with the well-developed filter chamber enclosed in the anterior rectum. Conventional optics is diffraction limited due to the cutoff of spatial frequency components, and evanescent waves allow subdiffraction optics at the cost of complex near‐field manipulation. Recently, optical superoscillatory phenomena were employed to realize superresolution lenses in the far field, but suffering from very narrow working wavelength band due to the fragility of the superoscillatory light field. Here, an ultrabroadband superoscillatory lens (UBSOL) is proposed and realized by utilizing the metasurface‐assisted law of refraction and reflection in arrayed nanorectangular apertures with variant orientations. The ultrabroadband feature mainly arises from the nearly dispersionless phase profile of transmitted light through the UBSOL for opposite circulation polarization with respect to the incident light. It is demonstrated in experiments that subdiffraction light focusing behavior holds well with nearly unchanged focal patterns for wavelengths spanning across visible and near‐infrared light. This method is believed to find promising applications in superresolution microscopes or telescopes, high‐density optical data storage, etc.
