Activity coefficients of hexane, heptane, methyl cyclo-hexane, benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, o-, m-, p-xylene at infinite dilution in polystyrene-volatile component systems are determined by GLPC method. The relation may be expressed as following equation:with an error less than 5 % to the experimental data.     

Molecular Spectroscopic Study on the Interaction between Heparin and Neutral Red

The interaction between heparin and neutral red was investigated by molecular spectroscopic methods. The change of all spectra suggested that positively charged neutral red had interacted with negatively charged heparin. The study of influence factors indicated that electrostatic force and hydrophobic bond might be involved in the interaction. The total binding number per disaccharide unit and intrinsic binding constant were obtained using Scatchard model.     

A Novel Green Preparation of a, a''''-Bis (substituted benzylidene)-cycloalkanones Promoted by FeCl_3 6H-2O in Ionic Liquid

a, a'-Bis(substituted benzylidene)cycloalkanones were efficiently prepared from cycloalkanones and benzaldehydes in [bmim][BF4] by using iron(III) chloride hexahydrate as a catalyst. It is shown that [bmim][BF4] and iron(III) chloride hexahydrate can be quantitatively recovered and be reused effectively for many times. Compared with the known methods, this novel process has the advantage of being an envkonmentally benign process together with good yields and mild reaction conditions.

Underpotential deposition of tin(II) on a gold disc electrode and determination of tin in a tin plate sample

This work describes a study of the underpotential deposition (UPD) of Sn²⁺ on a polycrystalline gold disc electrode using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and chronocoulometry (CC). Sn²⁺ ions showed well-defined peaks from UPD and UPD stripping (UPD-S) in 1 mol/L HCl solutions, while bulk deposition (BD) and BD stripping (BD-S) of the ions were also observed. The measured UPD shifts, E_UPD, between the UPD-S and the BD-S peaks were more than 200 mV. The UPD charge and the surface coverage of tin were measured by CC. A new method for determining Sn²⁺ was therefore developed, based on the excellent electrochemical properties of the Au/Sn UPD system. A plot of the UPD-DPASV (differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry) signal versus the Sn(II) concentration was obtained for [Sn(II)] of 1.98×10^–7 to 3.64×10^–5 M. The method developed here has been applied to determine the tin in a tin plate sample.     

The preparation of nano‐scope chitosan‐oligomer copper complexes and their interaction with DNA

Water‐soluble low molecular weight chitosan of nanometer level and its copper complexes were prepared, and characterized by IR spectra, elemental analysis and gel permeation chromatography (GPC). The modes and mechanism of these copper complexes interaction with DNA were studied by a fluorescent probe method and electrophoresis analysis. It is suggested that there are electrostatic and intercalation modes of copper complexes interacting with DNA. At first, the cationic complex electrostaticly binds to the negatively charged phosphate backbone of DNA, and then a portion of the complex intercalates between the base pairs on the DNA duplex strand. 提出了一个可以处理原子转移自由基共聚及其产物微结构的模型,采用计算机模拟产生了包括活化/失活反应的ATRcP稳态增长反应链,得到了有关链段分布的信息.模拟发现,含有休眠过程的ATRcP产物与常规的自由基的相比组成结构和序列结构完全一致,即活化/失活反应不影响ATRcP产物的微组成与微序列结构.
