Considering the fact that just the electrons confined in the region of the skin depth will actually affect the plasma frequency due to the skin effect, a model for constructing epsilon-near-zero (ENZ) metamaterials through the arranged thin metallic wires with arbitrary cross-section is developed, utilizing the perimeter approximation. With our model, plasma frequency can be freely modulated just by the variance of the metallic wire perimeter, irrespective of the cross-section shape of wires. The finite element method (FEM) and S-parameters retrieval method were employed to numerically simulate the plasma frequencies, which have verified the validity of the theoretical model.  相似文献

Low-temperature scanning tunneling microscopy (LT-STM) and near-edge X-ray absorption fine structure (NEXAFS) measurements are used to study the epitaxial growth and molecular orientation of organic thin films of copper hexadecafluorophthalocyanine (F16CuPc) on highly oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG). Our results show that F16CuPc molecules lie flat on HOPG up to 5 nm thickness, stabilized by interfacial and interlayer ππ interactions. LT-STM experiments reveal the coexistence of two different in-plane orientations of the F16CuPc monolayer on HOPG. On the second layer of F16CuPc on HOPG, however, all F16CuPc molecules possess the same in-plane orientation.  相似文献

Diarylvinylidenecyclopropanes undergo a [3 + 2] cycloaddition reaction with MeCN in the presence of Br?nsted acid TfOH to give the corresponding 3,4-dihydro-2 H-pyrrole derivatives 2 in moderate to excellent yields under reflux within a short time. As for the diarylvinylidenecyclopropane substrate containing a strongly electron-donating methoxy group on the benzene ring, the reaction leads to the formation of a different type of 3,4-dihydro-2 H-pyrrole derivatives 4 under the same conditions.  相似文献

A generic Fourier-space approach to solve the self-consistent field theory of block copolymers is developed. This approach is based on the fact that, for any computational box with periodic boundary conditions, all spatially varying functions are spanned by the Fourier series determined by the size and shape of the box. The method reproduces all known diblock copolymer phases. The application of this method to a model "frustrated" triblock copolymer leads to a phase diagram with a number of new phases. Furthermore, the capability of the method to reproduce experimentally observed structures is demonstrated using the knitting pattern of triblock copolymers.  相似文献

We reported on an all-solid-state double Nd:YAG slab laser. The laser was based on two diode end-pumped Nd:YAG slabs and a stable-unstable hybrid resonator. A cw output of 189 W and an average Q-switched output of 169 W at 10 kHz with an M(2) factor of 1.5 in the slow direction and 1.7 in the fast direction were obtained. We demonstrated efficient near-field frequency doubling by imaging the one-dimensional top-hat near-field to a lithium triborate frequency doubler. We obtained 93 W green light at 10 kHz with a pulse width of 10.7 ns. The efficiency of second-harmonic generation was up to 57%.  相似文献

The information inevitably lost in multiple-image hiding is discarded in advance by the operation of prechoosing information before the hiding process; thus both fidelity and multiplexing capacity can be improved significantly. Various characters of each image provide a great many possibilities for information prechoosing. The ideal low-pass filter presented with the matched encoding and hiding procedure may be one of the simplest examples of information prechoosing for generally used images. Computer simulations demonstrate its good performance, and the security is analyzed as well.  相似文献

Using first-principles methods, we studied the extrinsic defects doping in transparent conducting oxides CuMO2 (MSc, Y). We chose Be, Mg, Ca, Si, Ge, Sn as extrinsic defects to substitute for M and Cu atoms. By systematically calculating the impurity formation energy and transition energy level, we find that BeCu is the most prominent extrinsic donor and CaM is the prominent extrinsic acceptor. In addition, we find that Mg atom substituting for Sc is the most prominent extrinsic acceptor in CuScO2. Our calculation results are expected to be a guide for preparing n-type and p-type materials through extrinsic doping in CuMO2 (MSc,Y).  相似文献

"Critical" channel diameters were found (below which space confinement takes effect, leading to more uniform and ordered mesopore structures) in the study of evaporation-induced co-assembly of triblock-copolymer (P123) and silica molecular precursors (TEOS, tetraethyl orthosilicate) by employing channels in anodized aluminum oxide (AAO, 13-200 nm channel diameter) and in track-etched polycarbonate (EPC, 10-80 nm channel diameter) and for the first time we have observed a new mesopore structure (i.e., packed hollow spheres) in silica nanowires formed in AAO channels with diameters from 30 to 80 nm.  相似文献
