FORWARD-BACKWARD STOCHASTIC DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH STOPPING TIME

The existence and uniqueness results of fully coupled forward-backward stochastic differential equations with stopping time (unbounded) is obtained. One kind of comparison theorem for this kind of equations is also proved.     

Surface modification of polystyrene with the bovine serum albumin-Tween 80 complex and a forecast of biocompatibility

The surface of polystyrene was modified with the bovine serum albumin-Tween 80 complex. The adsorption of the complex and the formation of films on the surface of polystyrene were studied using the piezoelectric weighing method. The state of the modified surface was evaluated by contact angle measurements. The stability of the modifying layer was determined based on the critical interfacial energy values of the surface equilibrated with water. A conclusion was drawn that the complex can be effectively used to enhance the biocompatibility of polymer materials.     

Deformation of styrene—divinylbenzene copolymers and hypercrosslinked polystyrenes during solvent adsorption and desorption

An automated procedure was developed for monitoring fast changes in the size of spherical samples of polymers during their contact with a solvent or drying. The kinetics of bulk deformation in these processes was studied for a series of cross-linked polymers, viz., gel-type and porous styrene—divinylbenzene copolymers and poly(divinylbenzenes), and hypercrosslinked polystyrenes. Gel, macroporous, and hypercrosslinked polystyrenes are substantially different in the rate, mechanism, and degree of swelling, which is associated with the principal differences in their physical structures. An unusual effect of a sharp decrease followed by a temporary increase in the volume of porous polystyrene and poly(divinylbenzene) materials were observed during desorption (evaporation) of organic solvents. Water desorption is accompanied by an excessive bulk compression of porous granules giving rise to negative deformations, which gradually relax to the state equilibrium for the dry polymer. The results of dynamic desorption porometry (for water desorption) are indicative of a bimodal size distribution of micropores in hypercrosslinked polystyrene. SYNTHESIS OF LIGHT OLEFINS FROM SYNGAS VIA DIMETHYLETHR——A NEW TECHNIQUE PROCESS

A new route named as SDTO method for the synthesis of lightolefins from syngas has been proposed.That is to convert syngas todimethylether and then to convert dimethylether to light olefins.The catalystsfor the two conversion reactions have been developed.For the first reaction,the catulySt was synthesized by the combination of methanol synthesis catalystwith γ-Al_2O_3or zeolites which possesses both metallic and acidic functions.Thecatalyst for the second reaction was modified SAPO-34 molecular sieve.Thevariables of the reactions have also been investigated.The results from theserial connection of the two conversion steps without any separation show thatthe yield of C_2~-C_4~- olefins Could be>100g/(m~3 syngas).     

On quadratic differentials on multiply connected domains that are perfect squares

The paper considers the problem on extremal decomposition of a multiply connected domain G ⊂ ℂ in the case where the associated quadratic differential is a perfect square. It is shown that in the case considered, the value of the functional for this extremal decomposition is the least one in a certain class of decompositions. Bibliography: 10 titles.
