The behaviour of the latent image produced by actinic radiation (λ = 365 nm and λ = 407 nm) in AgCl monocrystal foils highly doped with Cd and grown and annealed under various conditions was studied by extinction measurements in the near infrared. The photographic elementary process in these highly doped crystals cannot be described satisfactorily by the classical Gurney Mott model. Therefore another model was used based on the creation of anion vacancies and molecular chlorine complexes. The radiation-induced electrons occupy these anion vacancies, and quasi- metallic centres are formed. By this model the behaviour of the light-induced latent image can also be described as the nuclear particle track formation in the Cd doped AgCl crystals. 相似文献

Spectral Characterization of Nitrogen in Farmland Soil by Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
Nitrogen is one of the most important elements in farmland soil, and nitrogen content is one of the evaluation indicators of fertilizers. It is difficult to measure the nitrogen content in farmland soil because the chemical and physical properties of farmland soil are complex. Through the adoption of buffer gases to remove the influence of the nitrogen in air, this paper studied the laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) characteristics of nitrogen in soil to establish a foundation for in situ measurement of nitrogen in farmland soil. Three characteristic spectral lines have been found. Based on the precise controlling of laser power and triggering of delay time between laser generation and spectra collection, we have studied the effects of laser energy on LIBS spectral characteristics and the time evolution characteristics to supply the basis of parameter optimization for the measurement. In addition, we have studied the relationship between nitrogen concentration and LIBS spectral intensity. The results demonstrated that LIBS was an effective measurement method of nitrogen content in farmland soil with simple hardware structure, fast detection, and high precision. 相似文献

Doxycycline can coordinate with europium (III) to form europium (III)-doxycycline complex, which can emit the fluorescence characteristic peak of europium (III) at 617 nm in alkaline solution, and the experiment proved that the fluorescence intensity could be further enhanced in the presence of silver nanoparticles and surfactant alkylphenols polyoxyethylene. So this method was applied to detect doxycycline content in duck meat in this research. First, 390 and 617 nm were selected as the optimum excitation wavelength and optimum emission wavelength by three-dimensional fluorescence spectrometry, respectively. Second, the experimental conditions were optimized through single factor experiment. Lastly, the samples of doxycycline concentration range of 0.05–12 mg/L were analyzed under the optimum experimental conditions. A good linear relationship between the doxycycline concentration and the fluorescence intensity was obtained, and the determination coefficient and the root mean squared error of prediction were 0.9982 and 0.4363 mg/L, respectively. This research showed that it was feasible to achieve the rapid detection of doxycycline content in duck meat by using silver nanoparticles and alkylphenols polyoxyethylene enhanced the fluorescence of europium complex. 相似文献

Transport properties of ion swarms in presence of Resonant Charge Transfer (RCT) collisions are studied using Momentum Transfer
Theory (MTT). It was shown that, not surprisingly, RCT collisions may be represented as a special case of elastic scattering.
Using the developed MTT we tested a previously available anisotropic set of cross-sections for Ar+Ar
+ collisions by making the comparisons with the available data for the transverse diffusion coefficient. We also developed
an anisotropic set of Ne+Ne
+ integral cross-sections based on the available data for mobility, longitudinal and transverse diffusion. Anisotropic sets
of cross-sections are needed for Monte Carlo simulations of ion transport and plasma models.

We report a ZGP OPO system capable of producing >6 W at a signal wavelength of 3.80 μm and an idler wavelength of 4.45 μm.
The pumping source is the Tm,Ho:GdVO4 laser operated at 2.049 μm with an M
2 of 1.07. The ZGP OPO generated a total combined output power of 6.1 W at signal wavelength and idler wavelength under pumping

A photonic approach for microwave/millimeter-wave (MMW) frequency measurement is proposed and demonstrated based on stimulated
Brillouin scattering (SBS) of a 20-km standard single mode fiber (SSMF). After the MMW signal is modulated to a laser source
with two sidebands using optical carrier suppression (OCS) modulation, its frequency can be easily measured by monitoring
the SBS-induced amplification with a power meter. Due to the 1-pm resolution of a tunable pump laser source, a frequency measurement
range of 1–40 GHz is demonstrated in our experiment with a frequency resolution of 125 MHz. We believe the frequency measurement

We design a Nd:YAG module with symmetrical LD side-pumped structure in a periodical arrangement between circular LD arrays and holders. This novel design has great potential to be used in compact and miniature laser systems. Design optimization and simulation on thermal effects have been performed. An experiment has also been carried out. The experiment results indicate the all-solid-state laser with the-Nd:YAG module can stably operate in the range of 10–30 Hz with no controlling temperature by TE cooler. The laser beam had a divergence angle less than 3.8 mrad and a maximum output pulse of 174 mJ has been obtained at the pump current of 50 A and working frequency of 23 Hz, corresponding to optical-optical conversion efficiency of 40.2%. 相似文献

Bismuth vanadates (BiVO4) with various crystal structures (tetragonal scheelite, monoclinic scheelite, and tetragonal zircon) and morphologies (sphere-, nanosheet-, dendrite-, and flower-like) were controllably fabricated by using a mild additive-free hydrothermal treatment process under the different preparation conditions. The crystal structures, morphologies, and photophysical properties of the products were well-characterized. Subsequently, their UV- as well as visible-light photocatalytic performance was evaluated via dyes rhodamine B (RB) and methylene blue (MB) degradation. The enlargement of the emitting aperture is usually one of the important methods of increasing vertical- cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) optical output power. However, in a VCSEL with a larger aperture, the inhomogeneity in the injected current often causes inhomogeneous or even no emission. To solve this problem and to increase VCSEL output power, as well as to improve its thermal characteristics, we develop a new type of injected VCSEL with a larger aperture and a reticular electrode, where the conventional circular injection electrode of the P side is turned into a reticular one, and the heat sink is on the N side. The tests of the new VCSEL show an improvement in homogeneity in not only the injected current but also the emission intensity.
