Mild and practical method for the alpha-arylation of nitriles with heteroaryl halides

[reaction: see text] A mild and transition-metal-free method for the alpha-arylation of aliphatic nitriles with activated heteroaryl halides was developed using NaHMDS or KHMDS as base at ambient temperature. The key to the success of this method is generation of the nitrile anion in the presence of the heteroaryl halide. The method is applicable to both primary and secondary carbonitriles and a wide range of heteroaryl halides. Selective monoarylation was observed with primary carbonitriles. The operational simplicity and the mild reaction conditions add to the value of this method as a practical alternative to the preparation of alpha-heteroaryl carbonitriles.     

Characterization and electrochemical investigation of boron-doped mesocarbon microbead anode materials for lithium ion batteries

The structure and anodic performance of boron-doped and undoped mesocarbon microbeads (MCMBs) have been comparatively studied and the results obtained by XPS, XRD, SEM, Raman spectroscopy and electrochemical measurements are discussed. It is found that boron doping introduces a depressed d ₀₀₂ spacing and the larger amount of "unorganized carbon", which induces vacancy formation in the graphite planes and leads to a quite different morphology from that of the undoped material. Electrochemical charge/discharge cycle tests indicated that after boron doping the lithium intercalation was carried through at a somewhat higher potential, being attended by greater irreversible capacity loss. 手性高效液相色谱法测定1—（6‘—甲氧基萘）乙醇不对称氢酯基化反应

在自制的硅基纤维素－三（３，５－二甲基苯基氨基甲酸酯）高效液相色谱手性固定相上（ＨＰＬＣ－ＣＳＰ），优化了１－（６＇－甲氧基萘）乙醇氢酯基化反应产物－萘普生甲酯手性分离的条件，测定了相应的一系列不对称氢酯基化反应产物的对映体过剩值（ｅ．ｅ．值）。结果表明，在ＣＤＭＰＣ－ＣＳＰ手性柱上用ＨＰＬＣ测定此类不对称催化反应的光学产率，评价催化剂体系的手性选择是一种非常理想的方法。     

珠海市儿童发锌调查报告

作者调查了珠海市568名0～6岁健康儿童的发锌含量，结果表明，集体儿童的低锌发生率为59．1％，门诊儿童为72．04％，在珠海市儿童中低锌有较高的发生率。     

Synthesis and characterization of segmented liquid crystal poly(azoxy polyester-co-polyoxypropylene)

In this study a series of a segmented copolyester, poly(4,4′-dioxy-2,2′-dimethyl-azoxybenzene dodecanedioyl) (PMABD)-co-polyoxypropylene 400 (POP), was prepared. The chain length of PMABD studied (n) was varied from 7.8-18.2, and that of POP was unchanged. The intrinsic viscosity of the segmented copolyesters was 1.04-1.30, and the number average molecular weight obtained was 2.53 × 10⁴?3.49 × 10⁴ g/mol. The mesophase texture and thermal properties of the segmented copolyesters were measured as functions of n. It was found that the insert of flexible POP between those liquid crystalline domains of PMABD did affect thermotropic properties of PMABD. As the n value was 9.0 and 7.8 (or 7.4 and 8.6% by weight POP) the texture appeared as cholesteric-like oily streaks. The effect could not be attained by simply copolymerizing a mesogenic moiety with a pair of spacers of different lengths. The fluidity and domain structure of the flexible dodecanedioyl-POP-dodcanedioyl segments are taken into account for the obtained results. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.

Aromatization of methane over different Mo-supported catalysts in the absence of oxygen

Both acidity and structure of the support are important factors in converting methane to aromatics. Lower SiO₂/Al₂O₃ ratio seems to favor the aromatization of methane over the Mo/HZSM-5 catalyst. When Pt is added as a modifier the activity of Mo/HZSM-5 catalyst will decrease slightly, but coke formation will enhanced.     

Asymmetric direct vinylogous carbon-carbon bond formation catalyzed by bifunctional organocatalysts

The bifunctional chiral thiourea-tertiary amine organocatalysts have been applied to a direct asymmetric vinylogous Michael addition of α,α-dicyanoolefins to nitroolefins with 2-10 mol % catalyst loadings. The electronic properties of the thiourea-based catalysts have significant influences on this reaction. Moderate to excellent enantioselectivities (57-95% ee) have been achieved with low to good isolated yields through fine tuning the structures of the bifunctional organocatalysts. Much better ees were obtained for some α,α-dicyanoolefinic substrates compared with that catalyzed by modified cinchona alkaloids.

本文提出了硅橡胶膜在线萃取分离流动注射技术测定水样中苯酚的方法。由于水样中的苯酚透过硅橡胶进入萃取液的萃取量随时间的增加和温度的升高而增大，故采用停流技术及升高温度以降低酚的检出限。
