A summary is given about hitherto studied and applied versions of sample pretreatment and separation techniques of89Sr and90Sr from fission and activation products in plate-out experiments for security studies of graphite moderated gas cooled high temperature pebble bed reactors. The latest and most succesfully applied version with a combined double-column system is described and its performance and results are discussed in detail.  相似文献

Subpicosecond pulse generation has been examined in synchronously pumped mode-locked ring dye laser systems. These include hybrid and composite absorber/gain media arrangements as well as a simple synchronous cavity. The shortest pulses recorded were 0.3 ps for the hybrid system, and this has been shown to be critically dependent on the positioning of the absorber jet in the centre of the cavity to better than 50 m. Stable operation for subpicosecond pulse generation has been achieved in the ring configuration with greater wavelength tunability and higher average power conversion efficiency than with conventional cavity arrangements.  相似文献

This work describes a rapid and high yielding oxidation of 14 tryptophanylated amino acid methyl esters to the corresponding 3a-hydroxypyrrolo[2,3-b]indoline (Hpi) amino acids with generally facile separation of syn-cis and anti-cis diastereomers. Structural X-ray diffraction data are presented for both diastereomers of Tr-Hpi-Gly-OMe, which allow for a putative assignment of the other 13 pairs of diastereomers reported herein, based on correlations with 1H NMR chemical shifts. Selective and high yielding deprotection at either the N or C terminus is described, allowing the Hpi motif to be introduced efficiently into potential targets with minimal protecting group manipulation. Two tripeptides containing Hpi and cysteine were prepared and treated with acid in the Savige-Fontana reaction to produce a cyclic tryptathionine linkage, characteristic of both amatoxins and phallotoxins.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of several sterically encumbered monoterphenyl derivatives of aluminum halides and aluminum hydrides are described. These compounds are [2,6-Mes(2)C(6)H(3)AlH(3)LiOEt(2)](n)() (1), (Mes = 2,4,6-Me(3)C(6)H(2)-), 2,6-Mes(2)C(6)H(3)AlH(2)OEt(2) (2), [2,6-Mes(2)C(6)H(3)AlH(2)](2) (3), 2,6-Mes(2)C(6)H(3)AlCl(2)OEt(2) (4), [2,6-Mes(2)C(6)H(3)AlCl(3)LiOEt(2)](n)() (5), [2,6-Mes(2)C(6)H(3)AlCl(2)](2) (6), TriphAlBr(2)OEt(2) (7), (Triph = 2,4,6-Ph(3)C(6)H(2)-), [2,6-Trip(2)C(6)H(3)AlH(3)LiOEt(2)](2) (8) (Trip = 2,4,6-i-Pr(3)C(6)H(2)-), 2,6-Trip(2)C(6)H(3)AlH(2)OEt(2) (9), [2,6-Trip(2)C(6)H(3)AlH(2)](2) (10), 2,6-Trip(2)C(6)H(3)AlCl(2)OEt(2) (11), and the partially hydrolyzed derivative [2,6-Trip(2)C(6)H(3)Al(Cl)(0.68)(H)(0.32)(&mgr;-OH)](2).2C(6)H(6) (12). The structures of 2, 3a, 4, 6, 7, 9a, 10a, 10b, 11, and 12 were determined by X-ray crystallography. The structures of 3a, 9a, 10a, and 10b, are related to 3, 9, and 10, respectively, by partial occupation of chloride or hydride by hydroxide. The compounds were also characterized by (1)H, (13)C, (7)Li, and (27)Al NMR and IR spectroscopy. The major conclusions from the experimental data are that a single ortho terphenyl substituent of the kind reported here are not as effective as the ligand Mes (Mes = 2,4,6-t-Bu(3)C(6)H(2)-) in preventing further coordination and/or aggregation involving the aluminum centers. In effect, one terphenyl ligand is not as successful as a Mes substituent in masking the metal through agostic and/or steric effects.  相似文献

The potential energy surface (PES) of linear Ar 3 + is calculated at the MP4/6-31G* level including all single, double, triple and quadruple excitations. The results show that the PES of the linear Ar 3 + has a very flat valley along the asymmetric stretching vibration normal mode, ν3. A higher level quadratic configuration interaction calculation including single, double and triple substitutions QCISD (T) along this flat valley suggests that an asymmetric geometry energy minimum reported earlier based on MP2 [1] is due to symmetry breaking in UHF. The global minimum of the PES is found to be for the symmetric geometry atR ab =R bc =2.66±0.01 Å, which is in good agreement with the MRD-CI calculation [2] and expectations from our earlier photodissociation experiments [3]. The calculational results are compared with other theoretical calculations, and are discussed in the context of the photodissociation and dynamics of dissociation experiments conducted on Ar 3 + .  相似文献

The reactions between h5-CpFe(CO)2R (R = CH2CHCH2; CH2CMe=CH2; CH2CHCHMe; CH2CHCMe2) and stannous chloride in tetrahydrofuran afford the insertion products h5-CpFe(CO)2SnCl2R. When treated with stannous chloride in methanol or with excess stannous chloride in tetrahydrofuran, h5-CpFe(CO)2CH2CMeCH2 affords primarily h5-CpFe(CO)2SnCl3. The allenyl, 2-butynyl or cationic isobutylene complexes (R = CHCCH2; CH2 CCMe; CH2CMe+2) yield only h5-CpFe(CO)2SnCl3. Stannous iodide reacts with h5-CpFe(CO)2CH2CHCH2 in benzene to form h5-CpFe(CO)2I. Plumbous chloride in methanol fails to react with the above complexes.  相似文献

We report improvements of our method for the solid-phase synthesis of mechanism-based mercaptomethyl ketone inhibitors of cysteine proteases (Lee, A.; Huang, L.; Ellman, J. A. J. Am. Chem. Soc. 1999, 121, 9907-9914). Specifically, Fmoc-protected chloromethyl ketones were used, rather than the Alloc-protected counterparts. In addition, we further demonstrated that diverse polar functionality can be incorporated at the R1', R1, and R2 sites, in contrast to our previous efforts, where primarily hydrophobic groups were incorporated at these positions. On the basis of these results, a 2016-membered library of potential mercaptomethyl ketone inhibitors was prepared that incorporated diverse functionality. The library was screened against cathepsin B, which is implicated in cancer, resulting in the identification of single-digit nanomolar inhibitors. Because of the diverse functionality incorporated in this library, it should be a rich source of potent inhibitors against many other cysteine proteases.  相似文献

An efficient scalable synthesis of 2-halothiazolium-type peptide coupling reagents has been developed. The key step is the formation of the 2-bromothiazole scaffold through cyclization of α-thiocyanato ketones with hydrogen bromide. Using this method, the new coupling reagent 2-bromo-N-methylthiazolium bromide (BMTB) was synthesized. BMTB was tested in a difficult model coupling reaction of two sterically hindered N-methylated amino acids and showed higher activity than the well-established peptide coupling reagent HATU.  相似文献

Vibrational relaxation of the 6(1) level of S(1)((1)B(2u)) benzene is analyzed using the angular momentum model of inelastic processes. Momentum-(rotational) angular momentum diagrams illustrate energetic and angular momentum constraints on the disposal of released energy and the effect of collision partner on resultant benzene rotational excitation. A kinematic "equivalent rotor" model is introduced that allows quantitative prediction of rotational distributions from inelastic collisions in polyatomic molecules. The method was tested by predicting K-state distributions in glyoxal-Ne as well as J-state distributions in rotationally inelastic acetylene-He collisions before being used to predict J and K distributions from vibrational relaxation of 6(1) benzene by H(2), D(2), and CH(4). Diagrammatic methods and calculations illustrate changes resulting from simultaneous collision partner excitation, a particularly effective mechanism in p-H(2) where some 70% of the available 6(1)-->0(0) energy may be disposed into 0-->2 rotation. These results support the explanation for branching ratios in 6(1)-->0(0) relaxation given by Waclawik and Lawrance and the absence of this pathway for monatomic partners. Collision-induced vibrational relaxation in molecules represents competition between the magnitude of the energy gap of a potential transition and the ability of the colliding species to generate the angular momentum (rotational and orbital) needed for the transition to proceed. Transition probability falls rapidly as DeltaJ increases and for a given molecule-collision partner pair will provide a limit to the gap that may be bridged. Energy constraints increase as collision partner mass increases, an effect that is amplified when J(i)>0. Large energy gaps are most effectively bridged using light collision partners. For efficient vibrational relaxation in polyatomics an additional requirement is that the molecular motion of the mode must be capable of generating molecular rotation on contact with the collision partner in order to meet the angular momentum requirements. We postulate that this may account for some of the striking propensities that characterize polyatomic energy transfer.  相似文献

Right handed weak quark currents coupled to the usual left handed weak lepton current would be seen in inclusive antineutrino scattering on nuclei as a contribution at largey with the quark (not antiquark) structure function. We do not see such a term, and can therefore put an upper limit on the relative strengths of such right handed currents: \(\varrho ^2 = \frac{{\sigma _R }}{{\sigma _L }}< 0.009\) , 90% confidence. This measurement puts limits on the mixing angle of left-right symmetric models. In distinction to similar limits derived from muon decay or β decay, our limits are also valid if the right handed neutrino is heavy.  相似文献
