The processes during chemical and electrochemical etching of Al-doped ZnO are investigated utilizing a scanning flow cell setup with online detection of dissolved Zn ions. The rate of chemical dissolution was found to be a linear function of buffer and proton concentration in near neutral pH solutions according to a transport limited reaction. In contrast, electrochemical etching is limited by the kinetics of the reaction and increases linearly with the imposed current density. Due to this fundamental difference, the dissolution of Zn can be either uniform over the whole surface or highly localized at active sites like grain boundaries. A combined approach of chemical etching and the well-controllable galvanostatic dissolution thus allows a fine adjustment of the ZnO:Al surface texture for applications in silicon thin film photovoltaic cells in order to improve their overall energy conversion efficiency.  相似文献

A series of methyl methacrylate polymers have been prepared containing sucrose-based crosslinkers and additives. Thermogravimetry and long-term aging studies at 200°C show that sucrose-based alkyl and allyl ethers provide unprecedented thermal stability to linear, as well as crosslinked, poly (methyl methacrylate) or PMMA. Linear PMMA and PMMA crosslinked with trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate (TMPTMA) both degrade at 284°C. PMMA containing octa-O-crotylsucrose (1 mol %) degraded at 322°C. Depending on concentration, PMMA containing octa-O-allylsucrose (0.1-1.0 mol % and higher) degraded between 334 and 354°C, and PMMA containing 1′,6,6′-trimethacryloyl-2,3,3′,4,4′-penta-O-methylsucrose (0.1-1.0 mol %) degraded between 309 and 320°C. PMMA containing (1 mol % each) sucrose-based esters, ester-ether derivatives, all degraded at or below the degradation temperature of pure PMMA. Long-term air aging studies revealed that PMMA containing penta-O-methylsucrose trimethacrylate, octa-O-allylsucrose, and octa-O-crotylsucrose did not flow or sag after heating for 24 h at 200°C, but the polymers did show yellowing. While linear and crosslinked samples of PMMA containing compounds other than sucrose ethers lost more than 50% of their original weight within 15 h at 200°C, PMMA containing sucrose-based ethers lost about 8 and 20% of their original weight after 1 and 8.5 days, respectively. Herein we propose a unique mechanism by which saccharide ethers may be imparting this unprecedented thermal stabilization to PMMA. While tertiary hydrogens alpha to oxygens in saccharide ethers are stable to chain transfer during normal polymerization temperatures, they readily chain transfer at 200°C where PMMA is unstable. Chain transfer of these hydrogens is followed by fragmentation to produce alkyl, allyl or crotyl radicals, which combine with the macroradicals and terminate depropagation. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

Ga8Ir4B – a Gallium Iridium Boride with isolated, nearly square planar Ir4B Groups in a Structure derived from the CaF2 Type The new compound Ga8Ir4B (tetragonal, I41/acd, a = 853.69(2) pm, c = 2 105.69(6) pm, Z = 8, 614 reflections, 31 parameters, R = 0.034) was prepared by reaction of the elements at 1 100°C. The structure is derived from the CaF2 type. It contains isolated Ir4B groups with boron in an unusual, nearly square planar coordination.  相似文献

A strategy is described for simulations of solid effect dynamic nuclear polarisation that reduces substantially the dimension of the quantum mechanical problem. Averaging the Hamiltonian in the doubly rotating frame is used to confine the active space to the zero quantum coherence subspace. A further restriction of the Liouville space is made by truncating higher spin order states, which are weakly populated due to the presence of relaxation processes. Based on a dissipative transport equation, which is used to estimate the transport of the magnetisation starting from single spin order to higher spin order states, a minimal spin order for the states is calculated that needs to be taken into account for the spin dynamics simulation. The strategy accelerates individual spin calculations by orders of magnitude, thus making it possible to simulate the polarisation dynamics of systems with up to 25 nuclear spins.  相似文献

The major octabromo isomer of technical octabromo diphenyl ether mixture (technical octaBDE) DE-79 was isolated by RP-HPLC. Three serially coupled columns (each 250 mm long) enabled a good separation of the target compound from other congeners using 100% ACN as eluent. Approximately 100 microg of the target compound was isolated with a purity of >90% and investigated by MS for confirmation of the degree of bromination. 1H-NMR and 2-D 1H-13C correlation NMR spectra unequivocally clarified that the octaBDE in question is 2,2',3,3',4,4',6,6'-octabromodiphenyl ether (BDE 197). Based on annual production rates of technical BDE products (1999/2001), approximately 380 tons of BDE 197 were annually produced which, on the long term, may enter the environment. Compared with other individual BDE congeners, BDE 197 has the seventh highest application rate. Reductive debromination of BDE 197 can lead to four hepta-, 15 hexa-, 23 penta-, and 28 tetra-BDE isomers, respectively. This variety includes all known major BDEs of environmental concern (BDE 47, 85, 99, 100, 153, 154, and 183). The identification of BDE 197 in technical octaBDE DE-79 strongly suggests that research on the environmental fate of BDEs should include this key-BDE congener.  相似文献

Single phase powders of (A19N7)[In4]2 (A = Ca, Sr) and (Ca4N)[In2] were prepared by reaction of melt beads of the metallic components with nitrogen. The crystal structure of (Ca19N7)[In4]2 was refined based on neutron and X‐ray powder diffraction data. The crystal structure of (Sr19N7)[In4]2 was solved from the X‐ray powder pattern. The structure refinements in combination with results from chemical analyses ascertain the compositions. The compounds (A19N7)[In4]2 (A = Ca, Sr) are isotypes of (Ca19N7)[Ag4]2; (Ca19N7)[In4]2 is probably identical to the earlier reported (Ca18.5N7)[In4]2. The crystal structure of the isotypes (A19N7)[In4]2 (A = Ca, Sr; cubic, , Ca: a = 1471.65(3) pm; Sr: a = 1561.0(1) pm) contains isolated [In4] tetrahedra embedded in a framework of edge‐ and vertex‐sharing (A6N) octahedra. Six of these octahedra are condensed by edge‐sharing around one central A2+ ion to form “superoctahedra” (A19N6) which are connected three‐dimensionally via further octahedra by corner‐sharing. The crystal structure of (Ca4N)[In2] (tetragonal, I41/amd, a = 491.14(4) pm, c = 2907.7(3) pm) consists of alternating layers of perovskite type slabs of vertex‐sharing octahedra (Ca2Ca4/2N) and parallel arranged infinite zigzag chains equation/tex2gif-stack-1.gif[In2]. In the sense of Zintl‐type counting the compounds (A2+)19(N3?)7[(In2.125?)4]2 present an electron excess, (Ca2+)4(N3?)[(In2.5?)2] is electron deficient. Metallic properties are supported by electrical resistivity and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The analysis of the electronic structures gives evidence for the existence of homoatomic interactions In–In and significant heteroatomic metal–metal interactions Ca–In which favor the deviations of the title compounds from the (8 – N) rule.  相似文献

Two different methods for the quantification of human tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases-2 (TIMP-2) were developed using surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and gold nanoparticles for signal enhancement. The first method, a competitive assay, used TIMP-2 immobilized to the sensor surface and the inactive form of matrix metalloproteinase-2 (proMMP-2) (EC 3.4.24.24) adsorbed to gold nanoparticles. The sensor signals resulting from the interaction of MMP-2-gold nanoparticles with immobilized TIMP-2 were inversely proportional to the amounts of TIMP-2 of the sample. The measuring range for TIMP-2 was about 15–180 pM. The second method, a one-step sandwich assay, used proMMP-2 immobilized to the sensor surface and an anti-TIMP-2 monoclonal antibody coupled to gold nanoparticles. The lower detection limit of this assay format was 0.5 pM of TIMP-2. The binding signals were highly reproducible up to 100 pM of the inhibitor. The improvements obtained in TIMP-2 quantification over already existing tests could contribute to a better understanding and diagnosis of diseases like cancer.  相似文献
