Local pH environment has been considered to be a potential biomarker for tumor diagnosis because solid tumors contain highly acidic environments. A pH‐sensing nanoprobe based on surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) using nanostars under near‐infrared excitation has been developed for potential biomedical applications. To theoretically investigate the effect of protonation state on SERS spectra of p‐mercaptobenzoic acid (pMBA), we used the density functional theory (DFT) with the B3LYP functional to calculate Raman vibrational spectra of pMBA‐Au/Ag complex in both protonated and deprotonated states. Vibrational spectral bands were assigned with DFT calculation and used to investigate SERS spectral changes observed from experiment when varying pH value between five and nine. The SERS peak position of pMBA at ~1580 cm−1 was identified to be a novel pH‐sensing index, which has small but noticeable downshift with pH increase. This phenomenon is confirmed and well‐explained with theoretical simulation. The study demonstrates that SERS is a sensitive tool to monitor minor structural changes due to local pH environment, and DFT calculations can be used to investigate Raman spectra changes associated with minor differences in molecular structure. The design of core–shell heteronanostructures is powerful tool to control both the gas selectivity and the sensitivity due to their hybrid properties. In this work, the SnO2–ZnO core–shell nanowires (NWs) were fabricated via two-step process comprising the thermal evaporation of the single crystalline SnO2 NWs core and the spray-coating of the grainy polycrystalline ZnO shell for enhanced ethanol sensing performance. The as-obtained products were investigated by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and photoluminescence. The ethanol gas-sensing properties of pristine SnO2 and ZnO–SnO2 core–shell NW sensors were studied and compared. The gas response to 500 ppm ethanol of the core–shell NW sensor increased to 33.84, which was 12.5-fold higher than that of the pristine SnO2 NW sensor. The selectivity of the core–shell NW sensor also improved. The response to 100 ppm ethanol was about 14.1, whereas the response to 100 ppm liquefied petroleum gas, NH3, H2, and CO was smaller, and ranged from 2.5 to 5.3. This indicates that the core–shell heterostructures have great potential for use as gas sensing materials.  相似文献

We theoretically deduce the macroscopic symmetry constraints for arbitrary odd-order nonlinear susceptibilities in homogeneous media including atomic vapors for the first time. After theoretically calculating the expressions using a semiclassical method, we demonstrate that the expressions for third- and fifth-order nonlinear susceptibilities for undressed and dressed four- and six-wave mixing (FWM and SWM) in atomic vapors satisfy the macroscopic symmetry constraints. We experimentally demonstrate consistence between the macroscopic symmetry constraints and the semiclassical expressions for atomic vapors by observing polarization control of FWM and SWM processes. The experimental results are in reasonable agreement with our theoretical calculations.  相似文献

A series of poly(L-lactic acid)/polybutadiene (PLA/PB) biodegradable multiblock elastomers was synthesized and characterized. A two-step process to prepare PLA/PB multiblock elastomers was applied. Melt polymerization was used to prepare poly(L-lactic acid) (PLA) terminated with hydroxyl groups and, at the same time, hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) and 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) were employed to synthesize diisocyanate-terminated polybutadiene (ITPB). Then, PLA and ITPB were reacted with different PLA/PB weight ratios. Consequently, a series of PLA/PB biodegradable poly(ester-urethane)s with crosslinked chains was obtained. Swelling characteristics and crosslink density of the crosslinked elastomer were investigated. DMA was applied to characterize its thermal properties. The measurement of mechanical properties showed that a PLA/PB elastomer with adjustable mechanical properties was synthesized. Micromorphology, hydrophobicity, and degradability of the material were also characterized.  相似文献

We propose the use of a La2O3 (LO) film as the capping layer for improvement of a semiconductor/insulator interface in a solution-processed indium–tin–oxide (ITO) ferroelectric-gate thin-film transistor (FGT) device. It is demonstrated that the LO layer acts as a good barrier film not only for preventing the interdiffusion between the ITO semiconductor and lead–zirconium-titanate (PZT) insulator layers, but also for stabilizing the PZT surface structure. The fabricated FGT device exhibited high I on/I off, large M w, high μ FE and improved retention time of about 109, 3.5 V, 7.94 cm2?V?1?s?1 and 1 day, respectively, which are comparable to or better than those obtained with FGTs fabricated by means of conventional vacuum processes. We also point out that the key origin of the interface improvement is likely due to the incorporation of La into the PZT system, forming a La surface-modified PZT system which is more stable than the pure PZT in terms of Pb volatility and formation of oxygen vacancies.  相似文献

A back propagation artificial neural network (BPANN) prediction model for warpage of injection-molded polypropylene was developed based on an orthogonal design method. The BPANN model was trained by the input and output data obtained from the moldflow software platform simulations. It is proved that the BPANN model can predict the warpage with reasonable accuracy. Utilizing the BPANN model, the effects of the process parameters, packing pressure (Pp), melt temperature (Tme), mold temperature (Tmo), packing time (tp), cooling time (tc), and fill pressure (pf), on the warpage were investigated. The most important process parameter affecting the warpage was Pp, and the second most important was Tme. The rest of the process parameters, Tmo, tp, tc, and pf, were found to be relatively less influential. Warpage increased with elevating Tmo. In contrast, an increase in Pp and Tme caused the warpage to decrease.  相似文献
