Abstract  

The tetrafluoroborate salt of 4-methoxybenzyl N-2-(dimethylamino)ethyl-N-nitrosocarbamate was prepared in two steps, via the corresponding carbamate. Its crystal structure is monoclinic, space group P21/c. The unit cell dimensions are: a = 19.499(8) ?, b = 5.877(3) ?, c = 15.757(7) ?, α = 90°, β = 110.019(7)°, γ = 90°, V = 1696.5(12) ?3, Z = 4. The structure exhibits an unexpected, pseudo-gauche conformation with respect to the C2–C3 bond, due to a stabilizing hydrogen bond between the carbonyl oxygen (O1) and the hydrogen atom at the trialkylammonium center (H3n), with a distance between them of 2.37 ?. DFT calculations on the cation (B3LYP/6-31 + G(d)) confirm that the hydrogen bond stabilized gauche conformation is the global minimum structure.  相似文献

Five series of binary alkali borate glasses were prepared to compare the alkali dependence of network and modifier short-range order. 11B magic-angle spinning (MAS) NMR reveals that the fraction of four-coordinate boron depends strongly upon alkali type at high-alkali concentrations: heavier alkalis favour the formation of non-bridging oxygens, whereas lithium borates contain a much higher concentration of tetrahedral boron units. The alkali modifiers were observed directly by MAS NMR to measure the change in chemical shift with composition. All alkali peaks shift to higher frequency with increasing loading, indicative of decreasing average coordination numbers. Relative to their known chemical shift ranges, the heavier alkalis exhibit the greatest shifts, whereas the lithium shifts are subtle. This is interpreted in terms of the availability of charged and partially charged coordinating oxygens in the network. Moreover, the 133Cs chemical shifts plateau at 40 mol%, implying that the Cs+ coordination number reaches a lower limit at this composition. This work demonstrates that NMR instrumentation and methodology have reached a level where even challenging nuclei like 39K and 87Rb can be probed to yield structural information in glasses.  相似文献

Two enantiomerically pure thiosemicarbazone-proline conjugates with enhanced aqueous solubility, namely, 2-hydroxy-3-methyl-(S)-pyrrolidine-2-carboxylate-5-methylbenzaldehyde thiosemicarbazone [l-Pro-STSC or (S)-H(2)L] and 2-hydroxy-3-methyl-(R)-pyrrolidine-2-carboxylate-5-methylbenzaldehyde thiosemicarbazone [d-Pro-STSC or (R)-H(2)L] have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, spectroscopic methods (UV-vis and (1)H and (13)C NMR), and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry. The metal complexation behavior of l-Pro-STSC, stoichiometry, and thermodynamic stability of iron(II), iron(III), copper(II), and zinc(II) complexes in 30% (w/w) dimethyl sulfoxide/H(2)O solvent mixture have been studied by pH-potentiometric, UV-vis-spectrophotometric, circular dichroism, electron paramagnetic resonance, (1)H NMR spectroscopic, and spectrofluorimetric measurements. By the reaction of CuCl(2)·2H(2)O with (S)-H(2)L and (R)-H(2)L, respectively, the complexes [Cu[(S)-H(2)L]Cl]Cl and [Cu[(R)-H(2)L]Cl]Cl have been prepared and comprehensively characterized. An X-ray diffraction study of [Cu[(R)-H(2)L]Cl]Cl showed the formation of a square-planar copper(II) complex, which builds up stacks with interplanar separation of 3.3 ?. The antiproliferative activity of two chiral ligands and their corresponding copper(II) complexes has been tested in two human cancer cell lines, namely, SW480 (colon carcinoma) and CH1 (ovarian carcinoma). The thiosemicarbazone-proline conjugates l- and d-Pro-STSC show only moderate cytotoxic potency with IC(50) values of 62 and 75 μM, respectively, in CH1 cells and >100 μM in SW480 cells. However, the corresponding copper(II) complexes are 13 and 5 times more potent in CH1 cells, based on a comparison of IC(50) values, and in SW480 cells the increase in the antiproliferative activity is even higher. In both tested cell lines, l-Pro-STSC as well as its copper(II) complex show slightly stronger antiproliferative activity than the compounds with a d-Pro moiety, yielding IC(50) values of 4.6 and 5.5 μM for [Cu(l-Pro-STSC)Cl]Cl in CH1 and SW480 cells, respectively.  相似文献

A rovibrational model based on the normal-mode complete nuclear Hamiltonian is applied to methane using our recent potential energy surface [A. V. Nikitin, M. Rey, and Vl. G. Tyuterev, Chem. Phys. Lett. 501, 179 (2011)]. The kinetic energy operator and the potential energy function are expanded in power series to which a new truncation-reduction technique is applied. The vibration-rotation Hamiltonian is transformed systematically to a full symmetrized form using irreducible tensor operators. Each term of the Hamiltonian expansion can be thus cast in the tensor form whatever the order of the development. This allows to take full advantage of the symmetry properties for doubly and triply degenerate vibrations and vibration-rotation states. We apply this model to variational computations of energy levels for (12)CH(4), (13)CH(4), and (12)CD(4).  相似文献

During an investigation of the W/Te/Br2 system, we prepared crystals of the title compound, C20H40N4S8Te, from aceto­nitrile solution by slow addition of diethyl ether. It appeared to be a new tetragonal modification. The calculated density of the tetragonal modification (1.513 Mg m?3) is slightly greater than found for the known orthorhombic modification (1.46 Mg m?3). 10‐Propylthio‐5,10‐dihydrophenarsazine 2 was obtained by the reaction of 10‐chloro‐5,10‐dihydrophenarsazine 1 with propanethiol in the presence of triethylamine under mild conditions. The structure of 2 was established by X‐ray single crystal diffraction. The reaction of 2 with 2,4‐bis(ethylthio)‐1,3,2,4‐dithiadiphosphetane‐2,4‐disulfide 3 at room temperature affords a novel route to S‐10(5,10‐dihydrophenarsazine) S′‐ethyl‐S″‐propyltetrathiophosphate 4 . © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. This paper discusses the preparation and properties of gas detectors based on “porous silicon–nickel ferrite” nanocomposites. Impedance spectroscopy was used to measure sensitivity to ethanol and isopropanol vapours in the presence of an alternating electric field. The results were interpreted with the help of an equivalent electrical circuit. In the analysis of the resistive–capacitive properties in the equivalent circuit a constant phase element was used.  相似文献

The synthesis, reactivity, and photophysical properties of new rhodamines with intense red fluorescence, two polar residues (hydroxyls, primary phosphates, or sulfonic acid groups), and improved hydrolytic stability of the amino‐reactive sites (NHS esters or mixed N‐succinimidyl carbonates) are reported. All fluorophores contain an N‐alkyl‐1,2‐dihydro‐2,2,4‐trimethylquinoline fragment, and most of them bear a fully substituted tetrafluoro phenyl ring with a secondary carboxamide group. The absorption and emission maxima in water are in the range of 635–639 and 655–659 nm, respectively. A vastly simplified approach to red‐emitting rhodamines with two phosphate groups that are compatible with diverse functional linkers was developed. As an example, a phosphorylated dye with an azide residue was prepared and was used in a click reaction with a strained alkyne bearing an N‐hydroxysuccinimid (NHS) ester group. This method bypasses the undesired activation of phosphate groups, and gives an amphiphilic amino‐reactive dye, the solubility and distribution of which between aqueous and organic phases can be controlled by varying the pH. The presence of two hydroxyl groups and a phenyl ring with two carboxyl residues in the dyes with another substitution pattern is sufficient for providing the hydrophilic properties. Selective formation of a mono‐N‐hydroxysuccinimidyl ester from 5‐carboxy isomer of this rhodamine is reported. The fluorescence quantum yields varied from 58 to 92 % for free fluorophores, and amounted to 18–64 % for antibody conjugates in aqueous buffers. The brightness and photostability of these fluorophores facilitated two‐color stimulated emission depletion (STED) fluorescence nanoscopy of biological samples with high contrast and minimal background. Selecting a pair of fluorophores with absorption/emission bands at 579/609 and 635/655 nm enabled two‐color channels with low cross‐talk and negligible background at approximately 40 nm resolution.  相似文献

The objective of this work was to synthesize functionalized mesoporous silsesquioxanes with high concentrations of amine groups. During typical sol–gel syntheses, these materials are obtained by co-condensation of organic precursors with suitable linkers, such as tetraethoxysilane, necessary to prevent the mesoporous structure from collapsing. Thus, concentrations of amine groups in organosilicas usually do not exceed 2.7–3.4 mmol g−1. The use of bridged bis-trimethoxysilanes, however, allowed formation of mesoporous materials with no linker. Polycondensation of bis-trimethoxysilanes containing amine groups was conducted in acidic, neutral and basic media, resulting in high yields of solid bridged silsesquioxanes. Gelation occurred quickly if no acid or base was added to the reaction mixture. The hybrid organic/inorganic nature of obtained materials was confirmed by FT-IR and MAS CP NMR spectroscopy. Elemental analysis showed that amino group concentration in the products was 3.3–4.1 mmol g−1. Measurement of particle size distribution confirmed that choice of reaction media significantly affects particle sizes and agglomeration degrees, with the largest agglomerates (up to 50 μm) formed in basic media. A morphology study, using small-angle X-Ray scattering, displayed two-level fractal structures composed of aggregated 6.5–10.5 nm particles. Reactions in the presence of a surfactant resulted in formation of mesoporous structures. Furthermore, the obtained bridged silsesquioxanes were thermally stable down to 260 °C, but could reversibly absorb water and CO2 at temperatures below 120 °C. Thus, condensation of the bridged precursor without a linker resulted in formation of a highly functionalized mesoporous material.  相似文献

Novel hybrid cyclo[m]pyridine[n]pyrroles have been synthesized using Suzuki coupling. Their NMR and optical spectroscopic features and solid state structural parameters provide support for the proposal that these species are best described as locally aromatic compounds devoid of long-range intersubunit conjugation. However, an extension of the π-conjugation in the macrocycles can be realized through protonation, as inferred from optical spectroscopic and X-ray diffraction-based structural studies.  相似文献
