To promote bio-based products for the industry, six bio-organic substances (cHALi) isolated from yard trimmings (green) and food (humid) urban residues aged under aerobic digestion for 0–60 days were investigated for their potential to perform as sensitizers for azo-dyes photodegradation. Ethylorange (EO) was used as probe molecule at 5 mg L?1 starting concentration and irradiated in a closed Pyrex® cell with a Xenon (1500 W) lamp and a cut-off filter for wavelengths below 340 nm or in a cylindrical photochemical reactor equipped with a 125 W medium pressure Hg lamp. The cHALi/EO ratio in the starting EO solution varied in the 0–200 (w/w) range. The % dye abatement was found a function of the irradiation time, of the type of cHALi substance and of the cHALi/EO ratio. The best results were achieved with cHALi isolated after 7 days biomass aerobic digestion. Total dye abatement was achieved within relatively short few hours. A progressive dye mineralization was observed under the same experimental conditions. On the contrary no significant degradation was evident for the cHALi substances within the same irradiation time. Several hydroxylated azo compounds were identified as likely responsible of residual color after total EO abatement. The results, coupled to the previously reported good performance of the same cHALi substances as auxiliaries for textile dyeing, augur well for the development of both efficient and environmentally friendly textile dyeing processes. 相似文献

A methodology for the preparation of self-standing 100–200 nm thick mesoporous silica membrane interconnects is reported. Interconnects may become an important component in future microfluidic device technology since it allows extension of microfluidic architectures into the third dimension. The silica film was mechanically supported by a perforated silicon nitride microsieve and covered a hexagonal array of 500 nm-sized holes. The potential applicability of these films as gateable interconnects for controlled dosing of ions was demonstrated. The permeability of ionic species can be controlled by the ionic strength. 相似文献

This paper deals with the stochastic response of structures loaded by non-Gaussian random fields. A finite element model is used to describe a cantilever beam assuming both linear and non-linear behavior. The cross-correlated stochastic field is generated by a numerical procedure based on the translation processes theory. The marginal distribution of the load is assumed to be lognormal and the correlation structure is based on the second-order Markov process. Unsteady flow of a viscoplastic fluid on an inclined plane is examined. The fluid is described by the three-parameter Herschel–Bulkley constitutive equation. The set of equations governing the flow is presented, recovering earlier results for a Bingham fluid and steady uniform motion. A permanent wave solution is then derived, and the relation between wave speed and flow depth is discussed. It is shown that more types of gravity currents are possible than in a Newtonian fluid; these include some cases of flows propagating up a slope. The speed of permanent waves is derived and the possible surface profiles are illustrated as functions of the flow behavior index. 相似文献

Considering the large number of volatile molecules that characterize Cannabis sativa L., adequate investigation supported by the application of robust and effective analytical methods is essential to better understand the impact of these low- and medium-molecular-weight molecules on the entire phytocomplex. This work aimed to characterize the volatile fraction of the chemical profile of three different cultivars of Cannabis sativa L. pollen, grown in Italy, which were thoroughly investigated by the application of two complementary techniques: SPME-GC-MS and PTR-ToF-MS. Furthermore, in order to provide more information on the chemical profile of the matrices under study, the cannabinoid content of the hexane extracts was also measured by GC-MS. Until now, no similar study, in terms of survey techniques applied, has been performed on C. sativa pollen. The obtained results showed a high content of volatile molecules, which differentiated the three matrices. The data relating to the content of cannabinoids were also interesting as they showed that one of the three cultivars was richer than the others. Finally, an in-depth statistical survey was performed to better compare the investigated samples and identify the molecules that most contribute to differentiating them.
