The liquid–liquid equilibrium data at 25 °C of the system water–1-pentanol–1-propanol, that present a I type solubility gap, have been used to calculate the spinodal curve of this system through the use of the Wheeler–Widom model. As in the case of the water–chloroform–acetic acid system, analyzed with the same model in the past, a local fitting method has been necessary. A procedure based on the experimental position of the plait point was used to obtain the single spinodal points. The relative positions of binodal and spinodal curves indicate the presence of a large metastable area in the alcoholic-rich region. 相似文献
New vapor-liquid equilibria (VLE) data at 323.15, 333.15, 343.15, and 353.15 K and pressures up to 112.9 bar are reported for the carbon dioxide + 2-methyl-2-propanol system. The experimental method used in this work was a static analytical method with liquid and vapor phases sampling using a rapid online sampler injector (ROLSI?) coupled to a gas chromatograph (GC) for analysis. Measured VLE data and literature data for carbon dioxide + 2-methyl-2-propanol system were modeled with the Soave-Redlich-Kwong (SRK) cubic equation of state with classical van der Waals (two-parameter conventional mixing rule, 2PCMR) mixing rules. A single set of interaction parameters that lead to a correct phase behavior was used in this work to model the new VLE data and critical points of the mixtures in a wide range of temperature and pressure. The SRK prediction results were compared to the new data measured in this study and to available literature data.
This paper is focused on the synthesis and characterization of a novel hybrid material based on cisplatin and docetaxel-loaded functionalized simultanously carbon nanotubes able to be used in cancer therapy as drug delivery system with controlled toxicity. This material was physico-chemically investigated by determining the structure, as evidenced by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, transmission electronmicroscopy (TEM) and its stability was studied with the aid of thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The amount of platinum ions released into the solution of simulated body fluid (SBF) was highlighted by coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Toxicology experiments were performed with MDA-MB 231 breast cancer epithelial cells. The performance of the new drug delivery hybrid material was compared with functionalised carbon nanotubes with therapeutic agents functionalized with a single therapeutic agent. 相似文献
ABSTRACTA widely used method for obtaining silver nanoparticles uses plant extracts for reduction because of the presence of phytochemicals such as terpenoids, tannins, and flavonoids. Extracts of Flores sambuci, Hypericum perforatum, Lavandula angustifolia, Origanum vulgare, Rosmarinus officinalis, and Salvia officinalis were used for generating silver nanoparticles. The ultraviolet–visible spectra of silver nanoparticle solutions were correlated with variations of phytochemical characteristics to evaluate the plant extracts. These parameters were the antioxidant activity, total flavonoids, total tannins, total terpenoids, and total phenolics. Correlations between measurements of extracts’ phytoreductive characteristics were explained using Pearson coefficients. The results showed medium linear positive correlations for total tannins with the spectra of silver nanoparticle solutions. The antioxidant activity and total terpenoids presented medium linear negative correlations. Pearson coefficients between total phenolics and relative areas from ultraviolet–visible spectra from 350 to 600?nm were close to zero indicating no linear correlation. 相似文献
We consider the classical Gurtin–MacCamy system describing the growth and spread of an age structured population and show
that the steady states are actually stabilizable by a controller v = v(a, t) acting on an age interval [a1, a2]. 相似文献
A system of third order differential equations, whose coefficients do not depend explicitly on time, can be viewed as a third
order vector field, which is called a semispray, and lives on the second order tangent bundle. We prove that a regular second
order Lagrangian induces such a semispray, which is uniquely determined by two associated Poincaré-Cartan one-forms. To study
the geometry of this semispray, we construct a horizontal distribution, which is a Lagrangian subbundle for an associated
Poincaré-Cartan two-form. Using this semispray and the associated nonlinear connection we define dynamical covariant derivatives
of first and second order. With respect to this, the second order dynamical derivative of the Lagrangian metric tensor vanishes. 相似文献
