Summary.  The evaluation of mutual solubility data for systems water with n-alkanes, isoalkanes, and cycloalkanes along the three phase line is reported and a formula for the prediction of solubility of alkanes in water is developed. Then a cubic equation of state with an added term, which accounts for hydrogen bonding is used for correlation of liquid–liquid equilibrium data and for prediction of solubility of water in hydrocarbons using alkane in water solubility data. Comparison of the predicted and experimental solubilities is performed using all accessible experimental data. With this approach it is possible to predict the solubilities of water in alkanes with good accuracy over the temperature range up to about 20 K below critical temperature. Solubility of alkanes in water can also be calculated using experimental data for solubility of water in alkanes but results of these calculations are more sensitive to experimental errors of the data. The mechanism of thermal decomposition of Co(NO3)2 · 2H2O was found to involve stages in which Co(NO3)3 and Co2O3 · H2O are formed both of which decompose to Co3O4. During the process, the total cobalt enters the +3 oxidation state, which is consistent with the results reported by Mehandjiev [2].
Zusammenfassung Es wurde gefunden, daß der Zersetzungsmechanismus von Co(NO3)2 · 2H2O Schritte umfaßt, bei denen Co(NO3)3 sowie Co2O3 · H2O gebildet werden, beides weiterzerfallend zu Co3O4. Während des Vorganges erreicht das Gesamtkobalt die Oxidationsstufe +3, was mit Ergebnissen von Mehandjiev übereinstimmt [2].

A method for the simultaneous determination of yohimbine and boldine in mixtures by first-derivative synchronous spectrofluorimetry has been developed. The method is based on their native fluorescence in 0.1N sulphuric acid medium. The constant wavelength difference chosen to optimize the determination was =em -em=82 nm. Yohimbine was measured at ex//em= 285/367 nm, and boldine at ex/em=272/354 nm. The range of application is 10–500 g/l for yohimbine and 1–50 g/l for boldine. The method was applied to the determination of yohimbine and boldine in synthetic mixtures and pharmaceuticals, with errors generally 2%. The analysis of four nitrofuran veterinary drugs, nitrofurantoin, furazolidone, furaltadone and nitrofurazone, was optimized using reversed-phase liquid chromatography with a monolithic column and photo-diode array detection. The antibiotics were extracted from animal feeds by heating with acetonitrile. The isocratic mobile phase consisted of a 8:92 (v/v) acetonitrile/phosphate buffer (pH 4.5) at a flow-rate of 1 mL min−1. Peaks were identified by the retention characteristics and UV spectra. Detection limits in the water samples ranged between 0.21 and 0.27 μg L−1, and in the feed samples between 2.1 and 2.7 μg kg−1, depending on the nitrofuran. The procedure was applied to the control of nitrofuran residues in farm water for poultry and different animal feeds.  相似文献

We have measured the second acid dissociation constant, K 2a , at several ionic strengths for hydrogen telluride (H2Te) using the Charge Transfer to Solvent (CTTS) uv spectra of its anions HTe and Te2−. Since it is produced in our solutions, we have also determined the spectra of Te2 2− both in the uv and in the visible regions. At 25 C, K 2a = (1.28 ± 0.02) × 10−12 by extrapolation to zero ionic strength. Its value at an ionic strength equal to 0.5 mol.dm-3 was estimated to be (8.7 ± 0.2) × 10−12. The solution thermodynamics of these species are also discussed and comparisons are made to related acids.  相似文献

Aliphatic amines, incorporating one or three (branched) acylated beta-D-glucopyranosyl residues, were coupled with the acid chloride of ferrocenecarboxylic acid and with the diacid chloride of 1,1'-ferrocenedicarboxylic acid to afford four dendrimer-type, carbohydrate-coated ferrocene derivatives in good yields (54-92%). Deprotection of the peracylated beta-D-glucopyranosyl residues was achieved quantitatively by using Zemplén conditions, affording four water-soluble ferrocene derivatives. When only one of the two cyclopentadienyl rings of the ferrocene unit is substituted, strong complexes are formed with beta-cyclodextrin in H2O, as demonstrated by liquid secondary ion mass spectrometry (LSIMS), 1H NMR spectroscopy, electrochemical measurements, and circular dichroism spectroscopy. Molecular dynamics calculations showed that the unsubstituted cyclopentadienyl ring is inserted through the cavity of the toroidal host in these complexes. The electrochemical behavior of the protected and deprotected ferrocene-containing dendrimers was investigated in acetonitrile and water, respectively. The diffusion coefficient decreases with increasing molecular weight of the compound. The potential for oxidation of the ferrocene core, the rate constant of heterogeneous electron transfer, and the rate constant for the energy-transfer reaction with the luminescent excited state of the [Ru(bpy)3]2+ complex (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine) are strongly affected by the number (one or two) of substituents and by the number (one or three) of carbohydrate branches present in the substituents. These effects are assigned to shielding of the ferrocene core by the dendritic branches. Electrochemical evidence for the existence of different conformers for one of the dendrimers in aqueous solution was obtained.  相似文献

The preparation of new "scorpionate" ligands in the form of the lithium derivatives [(Li(bdmpzdta)(H(2)O))(4)] (1) [bdmpzdta = bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)dithioacetate], [Li(bdphpza)(H(2)O)(THF)] (2) [bdphpza = bis(3,5-diphenylpyrazol-1-yl)acetate], and [Li(bdphpzdta)(H(2)O)(THF)] (3) [bdphpzdta = bis(3,5-diphenylpyrazol-1-yl)dithioacetate] has been carried out. Furthermore, a series of titanium complexes has been prepared by reaction of TiCl(4)(THF)(2) with the lithium reagents [(Li(bdmpza)(H(2)O))(4)] (4) [bdmpza = bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)acetate] and 1. Under the appropriate experimental conditions neutral complexes, namely [TiCl(3)(kappa(3)-bdmpza)] (5), [TiCl(3)(kappa(3)-bdmpzdta)] (6), and [TiCl(2)(kappa(2)-bdmpzdta)(2)] (7), and cationic complexes, namely [TiCl(2)(THF)(kappa(3)-bdmpza)]Cl (8) and [TiCl(2)(THF)(kappa(3)-bdmpzdta)]Cl (9), were isolated. Complexes 8 and 9 undergo an interesting nucleophilic THF ring-opening reaction to give the corresponding alkoxide-containing species [TiCl(2)(kappa(3)-bdmpza)(O(CH(2))(4)Cl)] (10) and [TiCl(2)(kappa(3)-bdmpzdta)(O(CH(2))(4)Cl)] (11). A family of alkoxide-containing complexes of general formulas [TiCl(2)(kappa(3)-bdmpza)(OR)] [R = Me (12); R = Et (14); R = (i)Pr (16); R = (t)Bu (18)] and [TiCl(2)(kappa(3)-bdmpzdta)(OR)] [R = Me (13); R = Et (15); R = (i)Pr (17)] was also prepared. The structures of these complexes have been determined by spectroscopic methods, and in addition, the X-ray crystal structures of 3, 7, 10, and 11 were also established.  相似文献

The flaws in the Reply [1] to our paper [2] have been pointed out. Elber and Karplus (EK) have not disproved our irrefutable global statement that the energy average cannot be minimized which rebuts the theoretical background of EK-type calculations. Another statement of ours has shown that even a curve for which the average energy is locally minimal for all directional perturbations in the sense of classical variational calculus cannot be identical with the reaction path (RP) defined as a steepest descent path (SDP). EK found an error in the early preprint of our theoretical paper [3] and because of this error they qualified our correct variational statement as false for all the SDPs consisting of a straight line each. Mixing global and variational arguments, EK refuted our criticism in a logically incorrect manner. In this Comment we prove that both of our earlier statements invariably remain in force and the criticism included in those has been as well-established and solid as was before.  相似文献

The synthesis, characterization and reactivity of trans-[Ru(NH3)4(L)NO](PF6)3(L = benzoimidazole or 1-methylimidazole in trans position to NO) are presented. 1H-n.m.r. spectroscopy data indicate that the benzoimidazole and 1-methylimidazole ligands are coordinated to RuII through carbon and nitrogen, respectively. The nitrosyl stretching frequencies [(NO) > 1900 cm–1] suggest that the coordinated nitrosyl has substantial NO+ character. The complexes undergo a single-electron reduction (E 0–0.245 versus NHE), which involves the coordinated nitrosyl. Dissociation of NO in the reduced species is facilitated by the 1-methylimidazole ligand, which is not observed for the benzoimidazole species. The complex with 1-methylimidazole does not suffer hydroxide attack on the NO+, at least at pH values lower than 11.  相似文献
