The syndiospecific propylene polymerizations catalyzed by isopropylidene(cyclopentadienyl)(fluorenyl)- and (2,2-dimethylpropylidene)(cyclopentadienyl)(fluorenyl)-zirconocenium ( 1 + and 2 +) have been investigated theoretically and compared with experimental observations. With the ab initio calculated structures for the transition state (TS) of 1 +(M)P and 2 +(M)P (M = propylene, P = 2-methylpentyl), their steric energies (E°) have been computed using MM2 force-field. The difference between steric energies E°(m) and E°(r) for the meso and racemic enchainment of propylene, respectively, is defined as the stereocontrol energy [δE°(m ? r)] for syndiotactic propagation. The δE°(m ? r) for the TS of 1 + (M)P is about 2.1 kcal/mol, the value is 1 kcal/mol greater for 2 +(M)P. The observed steric pentad distributions of the syndiotactic poly(propylene) obtained by these catalysts are consistent with smaller effective stereocontrol energy, which is about two-third as large as δE°(m ? r) values calculated for the MM2 optimized structure. Syndiotactic enchainment is favored over isotactic enchainment for all combinations of site configurations in the catalyst. α-Agostic interaction seems to enhance syndioselectivity, whereas γ-agostic interaction changes the stereoselectivity to meso enchainment. The mirror plane symmetry of the syndiotactic propagating species renders the stereoselectivity of the polymerization insensitive to reaction conditions. Herein, we report a “threading followed by shrinking” approach for the synthesis of rotaxanes by using an “oxygen‐deficient” macrocycle that contained two arylmethyl sulfone units and the dumbbell‐shaped salt bis(3,5‐dimethylbenzyl)ammonium tetrakis(3,5‐trifluoromethylphenyl)borate as the host and guest components, respectively. The extrusion of SO2 from both of the arylmethyl sulfone units of the macrocyclic component in the corresponding [2]pseudorotaxane resulted in a [2]rotaxane that was sufficiently stable to maintain its molecular integrity in CD3SOCD3 at 393 K for at least 5 h. 相似文献

The title compound, rac‐6,13‐dihydro‐6,13‐methanopentacene ( 1 ), has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FT‐IR, 1H NMR, UV‐Vis, HRMS spectra, cyclic voltammetry and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The crystal belongs to orthorhombic, space group P212121, with Z = 4 and cell dimensions a = 6.0185(4), b = 8.1914(6), c = 31.4080(19) Å. In the crystal structure, two types of intermolecular C–H···π hydrogen bonds are observed, and further stabilize the crystal structure. Solid‐state Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (ss‐NMR) 13C single‐pulse excitation spectroscopy in combination with the magic‐angle spinning (MAS) technique was applied to a series of Phalaenopsis tissues, including the leaf, sheath, stem, and root, at different growth and spiking periods. Compared with{1H}/13C cross‐polarization MAS spectra, the 13C single‐pulse excitation MAS spectra displayed very distinct spectral patterns, recognizable as fingerprints of the tissues studied. 1Here, we demonstrate that solid‐state 13C single‐pulse excitation NMR spectroscopy provides a direct and robust analytical tool for studying the various tissues of Phalaenopsis in different growth and spiking induction periods. 相似文献

We report the synthesis, morphology, and field‐effect‐transistor (FET) characteristics of new acceptor–donor–acceptor conjugated materials that consist of diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP) acceptor groups and one of four different thiophene moieties, that is, dithiophene (2T), thieno[3,2‐b]‐thiophene (TT), dithieno[3,2‐b:2′,3′‐d]‐thiophene (DTT), and 5,5′′′‐di‐(2‐ethylhexyl)‐[2,3′;5′,2′′;4′′,2′′′]quaterthiophene (4T). The optical band gaps of the as‐prepared materials are smaller than 1.7 eV, which is attributed to the strong intramolecular charge transfer and the backbone coplanarity of the thiophene moieties. The order of both crystallinity and FET mobility (×10?2–×10?4 cm2 V?1 s?1) is TT2DPP > 4T2DPP > 2T2DPP >DTT2DP, which differ in the structure of the π‐conjugated cores and core symmetry. Well‐ordered intermolecular chain packing was confirmed by the GIXD and AFM results. In particular, the FET hole mobility of TT2DPP was further improved to 0.1 cm2 V?1 s?1, which was attributed to the well‐interconnected structure through solution‐shearing. In this study, a novel layered hydrogel composing of poly (γ-glutamic acid) (PGA), chitosan (CS), and alginate (AL) were prepared. Furthermore, PGA, CS, and AL were labeled with different fluorescent dyes. The bilayer structure of hydrogel was then revealed using these fluorescent labeled polymers. To mimic the stability of these hydrogels in physiological fluids, the dissolution of PGA and the release of Ca2+ from these hydrogels in normal saline were also monitored. The results showed that by adding CS to the hydrogel, the dissolution of PGA was decreased by 67%, and the release of Ca2+ was reduced by 40%. In addition, the hydrogel exhibited no cytotoxicity for L929 fibroblasts. 相似文献

Refractive-index (phase-contrast) radiology was able to detect lung tumors less than 1 mm in live mice. Significant micromorphology differences were observed in the microradiographs between normal, inflamed, and lung cancer tissues. This was made possible by the high phase contrast and by the fast image taking that reduces the motion blur. The detection of cancer and inflammation areas by phase contrast microradiology and microtomography was validated by bioluminescence and histopathological analysis. The smallest tumor detected is less than 1 mm(3) with accuracy better than 1 × 10(-3) mm(3). This level of performance is currently suitable for animal studies, while further developments are required for clinical application. 相似文献

We give the first evidence that the director tilt angle can be reduced by electric fields in the tilted smectic phase of banana-shaped molecules. In these phases the value of polarization is determined by the molecular packing and no electro-clinic effect is expected. Our studies show that high electric fields eventually induce a meta-stable phase with zero director tilt. The tilted phase slowly recovers at low fields. We propose that the field-induced quenching of the layer fluctuations is responsible for the observed effects. 相似文献
