The ground state masses of thirty-nine neutronrich nuclei from51Ca to72Ni have been measured using the Time-of-Flight Isochronous (TOFI) spectrometer. Eight of these masses have been measured for the first time and thirty-one are remeasurements of neutron-rich nuclei previously reported. Good agreement between these results and a previous TOFI experiment was observed except for the most neutron-rich isotopes of vanadium through iron with the present results being more bound and in better agreement with theory. The low binding energy of68Ni, as indicated by an unreasonably low two-neutron separation energy, suggests the presence of a high-lying, long-lived isomeric state in this nucleus.  相似文献

Density functional theory (DFT) calculations were performed to investigate stabilities and properties for uracil (U)-functionalized carbon nanotubes (CNTs). To this aim, the optimized molecular properties were evaluated for (n, 0) models of CNTs (n = 3–16) in the original and U-functionalized forms. The results indicated that the dipole moments and energy gaps were independent of tubular diameters whereas the binding energies showed that the U-functionalization could be better achieved for n = 8–11 curvatures of (n, 0) CNTs. Further studies based on the evaluated atomic-scale properties, including quadrupole coupling constants (C Q ), indicated that the electronic properties of atoms could detect the effects of diameters variations of (n, 0) CNTs, in which the effects were very much significant for the atoms around the U-functionalization regions. Finally, the achieved results of singular U, original CNTs, and CNT-U hybrids were compared to each other to demonstrate the stabilities and properties for the U-functionalized (n, 0) CNTs.  相似文献

Rigorous numerical modeling of optical systems has attracted interest in diverse research areas ranging from biophotonics to photolithography. We report the full-vector electromagnetic numerical simulation of a broadband optical imaging system with partially coherent and unpolarized illumination. The scattering of light from the sample is calculated using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) numerical method. Geometrical optics principles are applied to the scattered light to obtain the intensity distribution at the image plane. Multilayered object spaces are also supported by our algorithm. For the first time, numerical FDTD calculations are directly compared to and shown to agree well with broadband experimental microscopy results.  相似文献

We measure the dynamics of nuclear spins in a single-electron charged self-assembled InGaAs quantum dot with negligible nuclear spin diffusion due to dipole-dipole interaction and identify two distinct mechanisms responsible for the decay of the Overhauser field. We attribute a temperature-independent decay lasting ~100 sec at 5 T to intradot diffusion induced by hyperfine-mediated indirect nuclear spin interaction. By repeated polarization of the nuclear spins, this diffusion induced partial decay can be suppressed. We also observe a gate voltage and temperature-dependent decay stemming from cotunneling mediated nuclear spin flips that can be prolonged to ~30 h by adjusting the gate voltage and lowering the temperature to ~200 mK. Our measurements indicate possibilities for exploring quantum dynamics of the central spin model.  相似文献

Recent studies on confined crystals of charged colloidal particles are reviewed, both in equilibrium and out of equilibrium. We focus in particular on direct comparisons of experiments (light scattering and microscopy) with lattice sum calculations and computer simulations. In equilibrium we address buckling and crystalline multilayering of charged systems in hard and soft slit confinement. We discuss also recent crystalline structures obtained for charged mixtures. Moreover we put forward possibilities to apply external perturbations, in order to drive the system out of equilibrium. These include electrolyte gradients as well as the application of shear and electric fields.  相似文献

A highly efficient diode-pumped actively Q-switched intracavity Raman laser with SrWO(4) as the Raman-active medium is presented. As high as 23.8% diode-to-Stokes optical conversion efficiency is obtained with an incident pump power of 7.17 W and a pulse repetition rate of 15 kHz.  相似文献
