Geometric aspects of a deformation of the standard addition on integer lattices

Let \(\mathfrak{A}_n\) be the set of all those vectors of the standard lattice ? ⁿ whose coordinates are pairwise incomparable modulo n. In this paper, we analyze the group structure on \(\mathfrak{A}_n\) that arises from the construction of a deformation of multiplication described by V.M. Buchstaber. We present a geometric realization of this group in the ambient space ? ⁿ ? ? ⁿ and find its generators and relations.     

Study of chromium(VI) reduction in the presence of metal salt additives

Reduction of Cr(VI) to Cr(III) in a model wastewater in the presence of copper, iron, and nickel nitrates, sulfates, and chlorides was studied. The effect of the process temperature on the final pH values of the solutions was examined.     

Physical and astrophysical aspects of the problem of origin of chiral asymmetry of the biosphere

A brief survey of different models of the origin of chiral asymmetry of the biosphere is given. Main attention is paid to the discussion of the radiation mechanism of chiral action and the possible role of supernovae in the cosmological scenario of the origin of biological homochirality.     

Modeling of the LORD (Lunar Orbital Radio Detector) experiment with regard to the antenna directivity diagram,radiation polarization,and galactic noise

With the aim of the best approximation to the actual conditions of the LORD experiment on detection of ultrahigh-energy cosmic rays and neutrinos, the experiment modeling algorithm is refined by allowing for the parameters of the directivity diagram, polarization mismatch, and galactic noise.     

Two-dimensional rational solitons and their blowup via the moutard transformation

We construct a family of two-dimensional stationary Schrödinger operators with rapidly decaying smooth rational potentials and nontrivial L₂ kernels. We show that some of the constructed potentials generate solutions of the Veselov-Novikov equation that decay rapidly at infinity, are nonsingular at t = 0, and have singularities at finite times t ≥ t₀ > 0.     

Production of radionuclides for nuclear therapy and environmental studies

This work is devoted to the production of the radionuclides used in nuclear medicine and as radiotracers for environmental research. Production methods for high LET radionuclides (⁶⁷Ga, ⁷⁷Br, ¹¹¹In, ²¹¹At) that are promising for radioimmunotherapy are proposed. Production techniques for short-lived analogues of highly radiotoxic long-lived fission products (Tc, Se, Sr) are developed. The techniques are based on extraction and chromatographic separation from a cyclotron target irradiated by α-particles and deuteron beams.
