Five novel S-nitrosothiol compounds (6-10) derived from L-cysteine were generated in solution and their decomposition rate was followed by UV spectroscopy. In acetonitrile, compounds 9 and 10 were the most stable of this series with a half-life of 24 h. The final organic decomposition products of the five S-nitrosothiols were also analysed. Derivatives 8, 9, and 10, possessing a phenolic hydroxyl group, afforded an unexpected decomposition pathway, with nitration of aromatic ring occurring in non-aqueous media. A mechanism involving a phenoxy radical seems to be implicated.  相似文献

Bismuth as BiCl4 and BH4 ware successively retained in a column (150 mm × 4 mm, length × i.d.) packed with Amberlite IRA-410 (strong anion-exchange resin). This was followed by passage of an injected slug of hydrochloric acid resulting in bismuthine generation (BiH3). BiH3 was stripped from the eluent solution by the addition of a nitrogen flow and the bulk phases were separated in a gas–liquid separator. Finally, bismutine was atomized in a quartz tube for the subsequent detection of bismuth by atomic absorption spectrometry. Different halide complexes of bismuth (namely, BiBr4, BiI4 and BiCl4) were tested for its pre-concentration, being the chloride complexes which produced the best results. Therefore, a concentration of 0.3 mol l−1 of HCl was added to the samples and calibration solutions. A linear response was obtained between the detection limit (3σ) of 0.225 and 80 μg l−1. The R.S.D.% (n = 10) for a solution containing 50 μg l−1 of Bi was 0.85%. The tolerance of the system to interferences was evaluated by investigating the effect of the following ions: Cu2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Fe3+, Cd2+, Pb2+, Hg2+, Zn2+, and Mg2+. The most severe depression was caused by Hg2+, which at 60 mg l−1 caused a 5% depression on the signal. For the other cations, concentrations between 1000 and 10,000 mg l−1 could be tolerated. The system was applied to the determination of Bi in urine of patients under therapy with bismuth subcitrate. The recovery of spikes of 5 and 50 μg l−1 of Bi added to the samples prior to digestion with HNO3 and H2O2 was in satisfactory ranges from 95.0 to 101.0%. The concentrations of bismuth found in six selected samples using this procedure were in good agreement with those obtained by an alternative technique (ETAAS). Finally, the concentration of Bi determined in urine before and after 3 days of treatment were 1.94 ± 1.26 and 9.02 ± 5.82 μg l−1, respectively.  相似文献

Three types of butadiene-styrene copolymers, diblock, triblock and random, were partially hydrogenated in their elastomeric units in order to determine the influence of hydrogenation extent on their thermal properties. The hydrogenation reactions were carried out using a Ziegler-Natta type catalyst and the extent of hydrogenation was evaluated by FTIR spectroscopic technique. The percentage of crystallinity was determined by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), considering the low density polyethylene (LDPE) as reference since the saturation of elastomeric units with low content of 1,2-vinyl bonds gives a structure which resembles to LDPE, thus semi-crystalline polymers were obtained. On the other hand, the glass transition temperature (Tg) for the hydrogenated and non-hydrogenated copolymers as well as their heat of fusion, were also determined by DSC. An equation to evaluate the Tg of partially hydrogenated random copolymers is proposed considering both the saturated and unsaturated fractions. The thermo-oxidative behaviour of certain hydrogenated and non-hydrogenated copolymers was evaluated by thermogravimetric analyses (TGA). The results obtained by TGA suggest that a minimum saturation level is necessary in order to improve the thermo-oxidative resistance of the polymers.  相似文献

We recently disclosed a new ruthenium‐catalyzed dehydrogenative cyclization process (CDC) of diamine–monoboranes leading to cyclic diaminoboranes. In the present study, the CDC reaction has been successfully extended to a larger number of diamine–monoboranes ( 4 – 7 ) and to one amine–borane alcohol precursor ( 8 ). The corresponding NB(H)N‐ and NB(H)O‐containing cyclic diaminoboranes ( 12 – 15 ) and oxazaborolidine ( 16 ) were obtained in good to high yields. Multiple substitution patterns on the starting amine–borane substrates were evaluated and the reaction was also performed with chiral substrates. Efforts have been spent to understand the mechanism of the ruthenium CDC process. In addition to a computational approach, a strategy enabling the kinetic discrimination on successive events of the catalytic process leading to the formation of the NB(H)N linkage was performed on the six‐carbon chain diamine–monoborane 21 and completed with a 15N NMR study. The long‐life bis‐σ‐borane ruthenium intermediate 23 possessing a reactive NHMe ending was characterized in situ and proved to catalyze the dehydrogenative cyclization of 1 , ascertaining that bis σ‐borane ruthenium complexes are key intermediates in the CDC process.  相似文献

Some 3-aryloxy-1,2-epoxypropanes, interesting as potential synthons in β-adrenergic receptor antagonists preparation, were obtained in excellent yields (65-96% within 2-17 min) by microwave activation (monomode system) using solid-liquid solvent-free phase transfer catalysis (PTC). The best results for the O-alkylation of some phenols with epichlorohydrin were obtained using TBAB and NaOH/K2CO3 (1:4 mol/mol) as phase transfer catalyst and more acceptable basic system, respectively. These new procedure is compared with classical methods. Significant specific microwave effect (non-purely thermal) was evidenced in all cases. They were discussed in terms of reaction medium and mechanism, taking into account the variations in polarity of the systems.  相似文献

M-DNA is a type of metalated DNA that forms at high pH and in the presence of Zn, Ni, and Co, with the metals placed in between each base pair, as in G-Zn-C. Experiments have found that M-DNA could be a promising candidate for a variety of nanotechnological applications, as it is speculated that the metal d-states enhance the conductivity, but controversy still clouds these findings. In this paper, we carry out a comprehensive ab initio study of eight G-Zn-C models in the gas phase to help discern the structure and electronic properties of Zn-DNA. Specifically, we study whether a model prefers to be planar and has electronic properties that correlate with Zn-DNA having a metallic-like conductivity. Out of all the studied models, there is only one which preserves its planarity upon full geometry optimization. Nevertheless, starting from this model, one can deduce a parallel Zn-DNA architecture only. This duplex would contain the imino proton, in contrast to what has been proposed experimentally. Among the nonplanar models, there is one that requires less than 8 kcal/mol to flatten (both in gas and solvent conditions), and we propose that it is a plausible model for building an antiparallel duplex. In this duplex, the imino proton would be replaced by Zn, in accordance with experimental models. Neither planar nor nonplanar models have electronic properties that correlate with Zn-DNA having a metallic-like conductivity due to Zn d-states. To understand whether density functional theory (DFT) can describe appropriately the electronic properties of M-DNAs, we have investigated the electronic properties of G-Co-C base pairs. We have found that when self-interaction corrections (SIC) are not included the HOMO state contains Co d-levels, whereas these levels are moved below the HOMO state when SIC are considered. This result indicates that caution should be exercised when studying the electronic properties of M-DNAs with functionals that do not account for strong electronic correlations.  相似文献

Pulsed lasers are widely used in capillary electrophoresis (CE) studies to provide laser induced fluorescence (LIF) detection. Unfortunately pulsed lasers do not give linear calibration curves over a wide range of concentrations. While this does not prevent their use in CE/LIF studies, the non-linear behavior must be understood. Using 7-hydroxycoumarin (7-HC) (10–5000 nM), Tamra (10–5000 nM) and tryptophan (1–200 μM) as dyes, we observe that continuous lasers and LEDs result in linear calibration curves, while pulsed lasers give polynomial ones. The effect is seen with both visible light (530 nm) and with UV light (355 nm, 266 nm). In this work we point out the formation of byproducts induced by pulsed laser upon irradiation of 7-HC. Their separation by CE using two Zeta LIF detectors clearly shows that this process is related to the first laser detection. All of these photodegradation products can be identified by an ESI-/MS investigation and correspond to at least two 7HC dimers. By using the photodegradation model proposed by Heywood and Farnsworth (2010) and by taking into account the 7-HC results and the fact that in our system we do not have a constant concentration of fluorophore, it is possible to propose a new photochemical model of fluorescence in LIF detection. The model, like the experiment, shows that it is difficult to obtain linear quantitation curves with pulsed lasers while UV-LEDs used in continuous mode have this advantage. They are a good alternative to UV pulsed lasers. An application involving the separation and linear quantification of oligosaccharides labeled with 2-aminobezoic acid is presented using HILIC and LED (365 nm) induced fluorescence.  相似文献

A sensitive method for the determination of microamounts of cobalt by ion-exchanger spectrophotometry has been developed. The chromogenic agent, Nitroso-R-Salt (NRS), was loaded on an anionic-exchange resin (Amberlite CG-400). The absorbance of the NRS-cobalt complex on the chelating resin was measured at 508 nm. The best conditions for the preconcentration of cobalt on the resin before the spectrophotometric determination were a pH value of 6, temperature of 80 °C, and heating times of 45 or 90 min for 50 and 400 ml of sample, respectively. The detection limits were 27 ng/ml (50-ml samples) and 1.8 ng/ml (400-ml samples). Interference by other metals was investigated. The method is useful for determination of cobalt in natural waters.  相似文献
