Printed plastic electronics and paperlike displays

Plastic electronic materials and high‐resolution printing methods may be important technologies for new classes of consumer electronic devices that are lightweight, mechanically flexible and bendable, and that can cover large areas at low cost. This article summarizes some of our recent work in this area. It focuses on the materials and patterning techniques that we used to produce plastic active‐matrix backplane circuits for a type of paperlike display. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Link between the kinetic‐ and exchange‐energy functionals in the generalized gradient approximation

An approximate kinetic‐energy functional of the generalized gradient approximation form was derived following the “conjointness conjecture” of Lee, Lee, and Parr. The functional shares the analytical form of its gradient dependency with the exchange‐energy functionals of Becke and Perdew, Burke, and Ernzerhof. The two free parameters of this functional were determined using the exact values of the kinetic energy of He and Xe atoms. A set of 12 closed‐shell atoms was used to test the accuracy of the proposed functional and more than 30 others taken from the literature. It is shown that the conjointness conjecture leads to a very good class of kinetic‐energy functionals. Moreover, the functional developed in this work is shown to be one of the most accurate despite its simple analytical form. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J Quantum Chem, 2002     

芯片毛细管电泳程控电源的研制

设计并制作了一种小型的、可与PC机相联的程序控制电源，其中有两路输出电压，用于芯片毛细管电泳的分离和进样；而且，可程序控制输出电压和运行时间，并在PC机上以图形方式显示是泳电流。该电源适用于芯片毛细管电泳的过程监控。     

The Purification of Glucose Type Glycosyl Nitrate and the Synthesis of Spacer—armed N—Acetyllactosamines and Their Dimers

Our previous paper1,2reported the results of selective synthesis of mannose type glycosides and their dimers in our attempt to synthesize derivatives of N-acetyllacto- samine, which could have potential activity of anti-metastasis3. Quinine/selectfluor combination induced asymmetric semipinacol rearrangement of allylic alcohols: an effective and enantioselective approach to alpha-quaternary beta-fluoro aldehydes

A quinine/Selectfluor combination inducing rearrangement reaction of allylic alcohols was discovered, which involved a moderate yield with good enantioselective construction of alpha-quaternary carbon center and beta-fluoro aldehyde under base condition.     

室温以上磁制冷材料La(Fe1-xCox)11.7Al1.3化合物的研究

通过X射线衍射分析和超导量子干涉磁强计（SQUID）磁性测量,研究了Co替代Fe含量对居里温度在室温以上的磁制冷材料La（Fe1-xCox）11.7Al1.3（x=0.072,0.081）磁结构和磁性能的影响。La（Fe1-xCox）11.7Al1.3材料的居里温度随Co的含量增加而增加,La（Fe0.919Co0.081）11.7Al1.3的居里温度为311 K。当外场变化为1.9 T时磁熵变达到3.6 J·kg^-1·K^-1,RCP值为168.6 J·kg^-1,虽然它的磁熵变小于具有巨磁熵变的磁制冷材料,但是它在磁场为1.9 T时的制冷能力与这些材料相当。     

C36填充单壁碳纳米管的结构和电子性质

The structures and electronic properties for C36 encapsulated in four single-wall armchair carbon nanotubes (C36@(n,n), n=6-9) were calculated using ab initio self-consistent field crystal orbital method based on density functional theory. The calculations show that the interwall spacing between the carbon nanotube and C36 plays an important role in the stabilities of resultant structures. The optimum interwall spacing is about 0.30 nm and the tubes can be considered as inert containers for the encapsulated C36. The Fermi levels and relative position of energy bands also have something to do with the interwall spacing. The shifts of Fermi level and C36-derived electron states modulate the electron properties of these structures. The extra electrons fill the bands of C36@(8,8) with the optimum interwall spacing almost in a rigid-band manner.     

Aromatic H／D Exchange Reaction Catalyzed by Groups 5 and 6 Metal Chlorides

Groups 5 and 6 metal chlorides such as MoCl5, WCI6, NbCl5 and TaCl5 were found to be simple and very efficientcatalysts for the aromatic H/D exchange reactions. Compared with other metal chlorides such as ZnCl2, SnCl4 and TiCl4, groups 5 and 6 metal chlorides showed better catalytic activity in the H/D exchange reaction of naphthalene with C6D6. Deuteration of anthracene using MoC15 as a catalyst proceeded within 24 h at room temperature. Other aromatic compounds such as toluene, diphenylmethane and 1,1,2-triphenylethane were also deuterated smoothly in C6D6 within 24 h at room temperature.     

An application of the phosphine-catalyzed [4 + 2] annulation in indole alkaloid synthesis: formal syntheses of (+/-)-alstonerine and (+/-)-macroline

[reaction: see text] An application of the phosphine-catalyzed [4 + 2] annulation in the formal synthesis of alstonerine and macroline is reported. A phosphine-catalyzed [4 + 2] reaction between imine 7a and allene 8 formed the D ring of the target indole alkaloids. A subsequent intramolecular Friedel-Crafts acylation provided the C ring of the bridged tetracycle. Deprotection, followed by methylation of the bridged nitrogen, deoxygenation of the C6 ketone, and reduction of the C16 carbethoxy group provided the previously known intermediate 3.     

混合模式硅胶基质毛细管电色谱整体柱的制备及其电色谱性能研究

采用温和条件下的溶胶-凝胶技术，成功制备了阴离子交换-反相混合模式硅胶基质毛细管电色谱整体柱。通过调整反应液中不同前体的比例，优化了整体柱的制备条件。通过扫瞄电镜，对柱床进行了表征和分析。实验发现，所制备的整体柱电渗流的方向和大小可随流动相pH值的改变而改变，在酸性和中性条件下，具有从阴极流向阳极的电渗流；当流动相pH值升至约7．5时，电渗流方向发生了反转（由阳极流向阴极）。在优化的实验条件下，用所制备的整体柱对所考察的酸性（中性）化合物实现了快速分离，并获得了高达160，000N／m的柱效。
