A nickel(II) complex, [Ni(taetacn)](ClO4)2 ? H2O, where taetacn = 1,4,7-tris(2-aminoethyl)-1,4,7-triazacyclononane was synthesized. The crystal structure was determined by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction method at 293 K. The complex crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pna21 with a = 16.004(2) Å, b = 10.186(1) Å, c = 13.937(2) Å, V = 2271.9(5) Å3, Dx = 1.56 g cm?3, Dm = 1.59 g cm?3 (floatation method), and Z = 4. The R1 [I > 2σ(I)] and wR2 (all data) values are 0.0636 and 0.1672, respectively, for all 4845 independent reflections. The compound is composed of octahedral nickel(II) cation with three 2-aminoethyl pendant groups of taetacn, tetrahedral ClO 4 ? anion, and a water molecule of crystallization. Electronic spectra are consistent with the octahedral geometry. Temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility (4.5–300 K) can be interpreted considering the zero-field splitting of the nickel(II) ion (g = 2.14, D = 3.72 cm?1, and = 300 × 10?6 cm3 mol?1). Cyclic voltammetry in DMF showed quasi-reversible and irreversible oxidation waves (Epa = 0.54 V, Epc = 0.45 V; Epa = 1.16 V, Epc = 0.71 V vs. Ag/Ag+).  相似文献

A thermoresponsive diblock copolymer, poly(ethyl glycidyl ether)-block-poly(ethylene oxide) (PEGE-b-PEO), is synthesized by successive anionic ring-opening polymerization of ethyl glycidyl ether and ethylene oxide using 2-phenoxyethanol as a starting material, and its solution behavior is elucidated in water. In a dilute 1 wt % solution, the temperature-dependent alteration in the polymer hydrodynamic radius (RH) is measured in the temperature range between 5 and 45 degrees C by pulse-gradient spin-echo NMR and dynamic light scattering. The RH value increased with temperature in two steps, where the first step at 15 degrees C corresponds to the core-shell micelle formation and the second step at 40 degrees C corresponds to the aggregation of the core-shell micelles. The formation of the core-shell micelles is supported by the solubilization of a dye (1,6-diphenyl-1,3,5-hexatriene) in the hydrophobic core, which is recognized for a copolymer solution in the temperature range between 20 and 40 degrees C. In this temperature range, the core-shell micelles and the unimers coexist and the fraction of the former gradually increases with increasing temperature, suggesting equilibrium between the micelles and the unimers. In the concentrated regime (40 wt % solution), the solution forms a gel and the small-angle X-ray scattering measurements reveal the successive formation of hexagonal and lamellar liquid crystal phases with increasing temperature.  相似文献

The structure and viscoelastic properties of an organic-inorganic hybrid system composed of an organically modified polysiloxane network were examined, and the influence of organic groups on elastic-modulus variation by heat treatment was studied. The increase in the number of phenyl (Ph) groups per silicon decelerates the increase in elastic modulus; the substitution of the Ph group for a methyl (Me) group accelerates it. The system basically consists of R4-mSi[O-]m/2 units, where R is the organic group. The 29Si magic-angle spinning (MAS) NMR and gel permeation chromatography (GPC) measurements classified the structure related with the viscoelastic behavior into two factors: the number of bridging oxygens and the distribution of molecular weight. The elastic modulus was expressed by these structural factors through a simple empirical formula, irrespective of the type and number of the organic groups. The effects of the organic groups on the variation in elastic modulus by heat treatment were found to work mostly only through the molecular-weight change, and such effects can be controlled by the type or the number of organic groups.  相似文献

The synthesis, structure, and photoluminescence of palladium(0) and platinum(0) complexes containing biarydiphosphines, biphep (biphep = 2,2'-bis(diphenylphosphino)-1,1'-biphenyl) and binap (binap = 2,2'-bis(diphenylphosphino)-1,1'-binaphthyl) have been studied. X-ray structure analysis of [Pt(biphep)(2)] revealed the distorted-tetrahedral geometry of the complex. The photophysical properties of the three complexes [Pd(biphep)(2)], [Pt(biphep)(2)], and [Pd(binap)(2)] were investigated and compared with that of the previously reported [Pt(binap)(2)] complex. The [Pd(biphep)(2)] complex shows the strongest luminescence with a high quantum yield (38%) and a long lifetime (3.2 micros) in a toluene solution at room temperature. The luminescence should be due to metal-to-ligand charge transfer excited states. At room temperature, radiative rate constants of the four complexes show similar values. The difference in the luminescent properties should reflect the different nonradiative rate constants of the complexes. The temperature-dependence of the luminescence spectra and lifetime of the complexes were also discussed.  相似文献

The electronic excitations induced with tunneling electrons into adlayers of 3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboxylic dianhydride (PTCDA) on Ag(111) have been investigated by in situ fluorescence spectroscopy in scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). A minute area of the surface is excited by an electron tunneling process in STM. Fluorescence spectra strongly depend on the coverage of PTCDA on Ag(111). The adsorption of the first PTCDA layer quenches the intrinsic surface plasmon originated from the clean Ag(111). When the second layer is formed, fluorescence spectra are dominated by the signals from PTCDA, which are interpreted as the radiative decay from the manifold of first singlet excited state (S(1)) of adsorbed PTCDA. The fluorescence of PTCDA is independent of the bias polarity. In addition, the fluorescence excitation spectrum agrees with that by optical excitation. Both results indicate that S(1) is directly excited by the inelastic impact scattering of electrons tunneling within the PTCDA adlayer.  相似文献

An approach is presented for extracting phase equations from multivariate time series data recorded from a network of weakly coupled limit cycle oscillators. Our aim is to estimate important properties of the phase equations including natural frequencies and interaction functions between the oscillators. Our approach requires the measurement of an experimental observable of the oscillators; in contrast with previous methods it does not require measurements in isolated single or two-oscillator setups. This noninvasive technique can be advantageous in biological systems, where extraction of few oscillators may be a difficult task. The method is most efficient when data are taken from the nonsynchronized regime. Applicability to experimental systems is demonstrated by using a network of electrochemical oscillators; the obtained phase model is utilized to predict the synchronization diagram of the system.  相似文献

Herein, we investigated the surface of an (La0.3Sr0.7)(Al0.65Ta0.35)O3 (LSAT) single crystal via scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) after annealing in air. We found amorphous mounds and atomically flat surfaces formed on the surface of the (100) LSAT single crystal subsequent to heat treatment. These surface mounds mainly constituted SrO, including ~50 at.% Al. The atomically flat surface showed a B-site termination determined by the direct surface observation at the atomic scale through HAADF-STEM. The atomic arrangements on the surface were accommodated by surface-mound formation and La evaporation. Consequently, the ordered structure disappeared because of the increase in the Ta content at the terminated B-site layer.  相似文献

The quality factor of a laser diode beam tailored by Lloyd’s mirror interference was investigated numerically and experimentally. The far and near-field patterns were analyzed by numerical calculations based on Huygens’ integral. An almost circular tailored beam was calculated to have a quality factor as low as 1.08. This beam-shaping technique was experimentally demonstrated using a commercial 640 nm laser diode and a mirror-polished GaAs substrate. The optical beam tailored by Lloyd’s mirror interference was nearly circular and its beam quality factor was measured to be 1.24. Although this measured beam quality factor is slightly higher than the numerically calculated one, it is acceptably low.  相似文献

We have investigated the electronic structures and photophysical properties of 5,10,20,25-tetrakis(pentafluorophenyl)-substituted hexaphyrin(1.1.1.1.1.1) (1) and its meso-keto (2) and meso-diketo derivatives (3) using various spectroscopic measurements. In conjunction with theoretical calculations, these analyses revealed fundamental structure-property relationships within this series, including unusual ground-state electronic structures with neutral, monoradical, and singlet biradical character. The meso-free species 1 is a representative 26 π-electron aromatic compound and shows characteristic spectroscopic features, including a sharp Soret band, well-defined Q-like bands, and a moderately long excited state lifetime (τ = 138 ps). In contrast, the meso-keto derivative 2 displays features characteristic of a neutral monoradical species at the ground state, including the presence of lower energy absorption bands in the NIR spectral region and a relatively short excited-state lifetime (13.9 ps). The meso-diketo 3 exhibits features similar to those of 2, specifically NIR absorptions and a short excited-state lifetime (9.7 ps). Compound 3 is thus assigned as being a ground-state singlet biradicaloid. Two photon absorption (TPA) measurements revealed comparatively large σ(2) values of 600 GM for 2 and 1600 GM for 3 with excitation at λ(ex) =1600 nm as compared to that observed for 1 (σ(2): 360 GM). The enhanced nonlinear optical properties of 2 and 3 are rationalized in terms of the open-shell electronic configuration allowing a large, field-induced fluctuation in the electron density (i.e., a large polarization). This interpretation is supported by theoretical evaluations of the static second hyperpolarizabilities (γ) and γ density analyses. Furthermore, nucleus-independent chemical shift (NICS) and harmonic oscillator model of aromaticity (HOMA) values and anisotropy of the induced current density (AICD) plots revealed a clear distinction in terms of the aromatic character of 1-3. Importantly, the open-shell radicaloid 2 and singlet biradicaloid 3 can be formally regarded as 27 π-electron nonaromatic and 26 π-electron aromatic species, respectively, constrained within a dominant 28 π-electron conjugated network. On the basis of the combined experimental and theoretical evidence, it is concluded that the meso-carbonyl groups of 2 and 3 play an important role in perturbing the macrocyclic π-conjugation of the parent hexaphyrin structure 1. In particular, they lead to the imposition of intrinsic radical and biradical character on the molecule as a whole and thus easy-to-discern modifications of the overall electronic effects.  相似文献
