The design and synthesis of an enantiomeric pair of 1,8‐diethynylanthracene‐bridged naphthalenediimide (NDI)‐based cyclophanes ( Cyclo‐NDI s) are reported. Each enantiomer of Cyclo‐NDI exhibits a circularly polarized luminescence signal with a relatively large luminescence dissymmetry factor (glum=±8×10?3). We have further investigated the modulation of through‐space electronic communication between co‐facially oriented NDIs in a discrete Cyclo‐NDI with changes in the temperature. Tuning of the electronic communication results from the conformational transformation of monomer‐ versus dimer‐like features of Cyclo‐NDI , as confirmed by UV/Vis, fluorescence, circular dichroic, and NMR spectroscopic analysis. The temperature‐dependent optical response in the Cyclo‐NDI through the conformational transformation could be utilized as a highly sensitive and reversible optical thermometer in a wide temperature range (100 to ?80 °C).  相似文献

Preparation of the TiO2 Thin Film Photocatalyst by the Dip-Coating Process   总被引:7,自引:0,他引:7  
Titanium dioxide (TiO2) coated glass-plate thin film photocatalysts for elimination of air pollutants, were prepared by the dip-coating process with titanium alkoxide including polyethylene glycol (PEG). The surface structure of these thin films changed drastically with the size of the PEG. They were either transparent or opaque. Nitrogen oxides (NOx), one of the most hazardous of air pollutants, were found to be efficiently eliminated by the thin film photocatalyst. The photocatalytic activities of the transparent and opaque thin films were found to be almost equal. This may be due to the two films having the same surface area. The highest activity was obtained for thin films around 1 m.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate a delayed HIV infection model that considers the homeostatic proliferation of CD4+ T cells. By attaching condenser plates directly to the tensile specimen, creep rates of β-CuZn single crystals have been measured by the capacitance change in the strain-rate range of 10−7 to 10−5 s−1 and at temperatures between 0.7 and 17 K using a 3He cryostat. Slope of the temperature variation of the stress to give a constant strain-rate decreases below 5 K and seems to level off at 0 K. The strain-rate sensitivity becomes almost constant below 2 K. The conventional activation analysis showed that an ARRHENIUS type strain-rate equation breaks down drastically below 5 K. For an effective temperature T* which gives 2 K at 0 K and asympototically coincides with the testing temperature at 5 K, the experimental results can be fitted to the ARRHENIUS strain-rate equation with an activation enthalpy ΔH(τ) for the PEIERLS mechanism. The above result is interpreted in terms of the quantum-mechanical oscillation of the dislocations.  相似文献
