Stable crystalline phosphorus ylides were obtained in excellent yields from the 1:1:1 addition reaction between triphenylphosphine and dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates in the presence of strong NH acids, such as indole and 2-methyl indole, 3-methyl indole, and 5-boromo indole. These stable ylides exist in a solution as a mixture of two geometrical isomers as a result of the restricted rotation around the carbon–carbon partial double bond resulting from the conjugation of the ylide moiety with the adjacent carbonyl group. 相似文献

A new solvent polymeric membrane (PME) and coated graphite (CGE) electrodes based on 3-amino-2-mercapto-3H-quinazolin-4-one as a suitable carrier for La(III) ion are described. The sensors exhibited a Nernstian response for La(III) ion over a wide concentration range (3.0 × 10?7 to 1.0 × 10?1 M for PME and 1.0 × 10?7 to 1.0 × 10?1 M for CGE) with a slope of 20.1 ± 0.3 (PME) and 23.4 ± 0.4 (CGE) mV decade?1. The lower detection limits by PME and CGE were 2.0 × 10?7 and 7.1 × 10?8 M, respectively. The potentiometric response of the proposed electrodes was independent of the pH of the test solution in the pH range 3.0–9.0 with a fast response time (<10 s). The applications of prepared sensors were demonstrated in the determination of lanthanum ions in spiked water sample and also utilized for indirect determination of fluoride content of two mouth wash preparation samples. 相似文献

The formation of stable water-in-crude oil emulsions during petroleum production and refinery may create sever and costly separation problems. It is very important to understand the mechanism and factors contributing to the formation and stabilization of such emulsions for both great economic and environmental development. This article investigates some of the factors controlling the stability of water-in-crude oil emulsions formed in Burgan oil field in Kuwait. Water-in-crude oil emulsion samples collected from Burgan oil filed have been used to separate asphaltenes, resins, waxes, and crude oil fractions. These fractions were used to prepare emulsion samples to study the effect of solid particles (Fe3O4) on the stability of emulsions samples. Results indicate that high solid content lead to higher degree of emulsion stability. Stability of emulsion samples under various waxes to asphaltenes (W/A) ratios have also been tested. These tests showed that at low W/A content, the emulsions were very stable. While at a wax to asphaltene ratio above 1 to 1, the addition of wax reduced emulsion stability. Stability of emulsion samples with varying amount of water cut has also been investigated. Results indicated that stability and hence viscosity of emulsion increases as a function of increasing the water cut until it reaches the inversion point where a sharp decline in viscosity takes place. This inversion point was found to be approximately at 50% water cut for the crude oils considered in this study. 相似文献

Molecularly imprinted polymer nanoparticles (nano-MIP), containing parathion selective sites, were synthesized by using suspension polymerization in silicon oil and then used for carbon paste electrode preparation. The obtained electrode was applied as an electrochemical sensor for parathion determination in different fruit and vegetable samples. Different factors including electrode composition, conditions of parathion extraction in the electrode and electrochemical measurement conditions were evaluated and then optimized by using various techniques of screening and response surface experimental designs. Electrode response to parathion (Res1) and its selectivity for parathion (Res2) were the desired responses. These responses were optimized simultaneously. After optimization, a sensor with high selectivity and picomolar detection limit were obtained. It was shown that the sensor response to parathion concentration was linear in the concentration range of 0.05 to 150?nmol?L?1. The detection limit of designed sensor was calculated equal to 0.02?nmol?L?1. The developed determination method was properly used for ultra-trace level assay of parathion in different fruit and cabbage samples. 相似文献

A solid ion-pair material produced from ammonium tetraphenylborate on naphthalene (ATPB-naphthalene) provides a simple, rapid, economical and selective technique for preconcentrating iron from approximately 500 ml of aqueous solution of standard alloys and biological samples. Iron reacts with 2-(5-bromo-2-pryidlazo)-5-diethylaminophenol (5-Br-PADAP) to form a water-soluble cationic complex. When the aqueous solution of this cationic species in the pH range 3.2-8.5 is passed over the adsorbent ATPB-naphthalene at a flow rate of 1 ml min(-1), it is quantitatively retained on naphthalene as an uncharged ion-associated complex. The solid mass from the column was dissolved out with 5 ml of dimethylformamide (DMF) and iron is determined by third derivative spectrophotometry by measuring the signal d(3)A/ dlambda(3) between lambda(2)(773 nm) and lambda(3)(737 nm). The calibration curve is linear over the concentration range 0.10-25.0 mug of iron in 5 ml of DMF solution. Eight replicate determinations of 5 mug of iron gave a mean intensity (peak-to-peak signal between lambda(2) and lambda(3)) of 1.534 with a relative standard deviation of 0.90%. The sensitivity of the method is 0.307 (d(3)A/dnm(3) )/mug found from the slope of the calibration curve. The interference of a large number of anions and cations has been studied and the optimized conditions developed were utilized for the trace determination of iron in various standard alloys and biological samples. 相似文献

The electrophilic additions of hydroperoxyl (HO ), alkylperoxyl (RO ), and halogenated alkylperoxyl radicals to ethylene were studied using the AM1 and PM3 semiempirical MO methods at the SCF/UHF level. Reactantlike transition states were predicted for the title additions. The AM1 activation enthalpies (ΔH ) were found to be increased in the order HO <CH3O <C2H5O <i‐C3H7O . The reactivity of an alkylperoxyl radical toward ethylene was found to be increased as the degree of halogen substitution on the alkyl group increased. A good correlation was established between ΔH and the Taft polar substituent constants, σ*. The Evans–Polanyi correlation between ΔH and ΔH was justified and the validity of the Hammond postulate was indicated. A column preconcentration method has been developed for the determination of trace amounts of manganese by preconcentration on 2-nitroso-1-naphthol-4-sulfonic acid (nitroso-S)-tetradecyldimethylbenzylammonium (TDBA) naphthalene as an adsorbent using a simple funnel tipped glass tube. Manganese reacts with nitroso-S to form a water soluble brown colored chelate anion. The chelate anion forms a water insoluble Mn-Nitroso-S-TDBA ion pair on naphthalene packed in a column in the pH range 9.6-10.5 at a flow rate of 1-2 ml/min. The solid mass consisting of manganese complex and naphthalene is dissolved in 5 ml of dimethylformamide (DMF) and the metal determined by second derivative spectrophotometry. The calibration curve is linear in the concentration range 0.25-35.0 micrograms of Mn in 5 ml of the final DMF solution. Eight replicate determinations of 25 micrograms of standard manganese solution give a mean peak height of 4.0 with a correlation coefficient of 0.9995 and relative standard deviation of +/- 1.1%. The sensitivity was calculated to be 0.502(d2 A/d lambda 2)/microgram ml-1 from the slope of the calibration curve. The detection limit was 0.020 microgram ml-1 for manganese at the minimum instrumental settings (signal to noise ratio = 2). Various parameters effecting the method such as the effect of pH, volume of aqueous phase and interference of a number of metal ions on the determination of manganese have been evaluated to optimize the conditions for its determination in standard alloys and biological samples. 相似文献

The main objective of this research work is to present analytical solutions for free vibration analysis of moderately thick rectangular plates, which are composed of functionally graded materials (FGMs) and supported by either Winkler or Pasternak elastic foundations. The proposed rectangular plates have two opposite edges simply-supported, while all possible combinations of free, simply-supported and clamped boundary conditions are applied to the other two edges. In order to capture fundamental frequencies of the functionally graded (FG) rectangular plates resting on elastic foundation, the analysis procedure is based on the first-order shear deformation plate theory (FSDT) to derive and solve exactly the equations of motion. The mechanical properties of the FG plates are assumed to vary continuously through the thickness of the plate and obey a power law distribution of the volume fraction of the constituents, whereas Poisson’s ratio is set to be constant. First, a new formula for the shear correction factors, used in the Mindlin plate theory, is obtained for FG plates. Then the excellent accuracy of the present analytical solutions is confirmed by making some comparisons of the results with those available in literature. The effect of foundation stiffness parameters on the free vibration of the FG plates, constrained by different combinations of classical boundary conditions, is also presented for various values of aspect ratios, gradient indices, and thickness to length ratios. 相似文献
