In this work, novel thiol-ene (TE)/hyperbranched polymer(HBP) hybrid thin films have been prepared by a simple photopolymerization method and the TE/HBP system was also investigated in terms of thermocuring behavior and gas barrier properties. The effect of added HBP on thermal curing (cross-linking) of TE polymer was examined with dynamic and isothermal differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and compared with photocuring reaction of identical system. The structure of prepared TE/HBP hybrid thin film was analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD). Themomechanical analysis (TMA) provided extensive data on the coefficient of linear thermal expansion (CTE), dimensional change upon heating, and isothermal profile of TE/HBP hybrid thin films. Light transmittance as well as water/oxygen permeability of the resulting TE/HBP hybrid thin film was also measured depending on the HBP content. 相似文献

The class of phase‐type distributions has recently gained much popularity in insurance applications due to its mathematical tractability and denseness in the class of distributions defined on positive real line. In this paper, we show how to use the phase‐type mortality law as an efficient risk management tool for various life insurance applications. In particular, pure premiums, benefit reserves, and risk‐loaded premiums using CTE for standard life insurance products are shown to be available in analytic forms, leading to efficient computation and straightforward implementation. A way to explicitly determine provisions for adverse deviation for interest rate and mortality is also proposed. Furthermore, we show how the interest rate risk embedded in life insurance portfolios can be analyzed via interest rate sensitivity index and diversification index which are constructed based on the decomposition of portfolio variance. We also consider the applicability of phase‐type mortality law under a few non‐flat term structures of interest rate. Lastly, we explore how other properties of phase‐type distributions may be applied to joint‐life products as well as subgroup risk ordering and pricing within a given pool of insureds. A mild and facile method for preparing highly functionalized pyrrolo[1,2‐a]quinoxalines and other nitrogen‐rich heterocycles, each containing a quinoxaline core or an analogue thereof, has been developed. The novel method features a visible‐light‐induced decarboxylative radical coupling of ortho‐substituted arylisocyanides and radicals generated from phenyliodine(III) dicarboxylate reagents and exhibits excellent functional group compatibility. A wide range of quinoxaline heterocycles have been prepared. Finally, a telescoped preparation of these polycyclic compounds by integration of the in‐line isocyanide formation and photochemical cyclization has been established in a three‐step continuous‐flow system. 相似文献

A rapid and simple LC with MS/MS method for the simultaneous determination of metoprolol and its two CYP2D6‐derived metabolites, α‐hydroxy‐ and O‐desmethylmetoprolol, in human plasma was established. Metoprolol (MET), its two metabolites, and the internal standard chlorpropamide were extracted from plasma (50 μL) using ethyl acetate. Chromatographic separation was performed on a Luna CN column with an isocratic mobile phase consisting of distilled water and methanol containing 0.1% formic acid (60:40, v/v) at a flow rate of 0.3 mL/min. The total run time was 3.0 min per sample. Mass spectrometric detection was conducted by ESI in positive ion selected‐reaction monitoring mode. The linear ranges of concentration for MET, α‐hydroxymetoprolol, and O‐desmethylmetoprolol were 2–1000, 2–500, and 2–500 ng/mL, respectively, with a lower limit of quantification of 2 ng/mL for all analytes. The coefficient of variation for the assay's precision was ≤ 13.2%, and the accuracy was 89.1–110%. All analytes were stable under various storage and handling conditions and no relevant cross‐talk and matrix effect were observed. Finally, this method was successfully applied to assess the influence of CYP2D6 genotypes on the pharmacokinetics of MET after oral administration of 100 mg to healthy Korean volunteers. 相似文献

Membrane proteins are inherently amphipathic and undergo dynamic conformational changes for proper function within native membranes. Maintaining the functional structures of these biomacromolecules in aqueous media is necessary for structural studies but difficult to achieve with currently available tools, thus necessitating the development of novel agents with favorable properties. This study introduces several new glucose‐neopentyl glycol (GNG) amphiphiles and reveals some agents that display favorable behaviors for the solubilization and stabilization of a large, multi‐subunit membrane protein assembly. Furthermore, a detergent structure–property relationship that could serve as a useful guideline for the design of novel amphiphiles is discussed. 相似文献

Hepatic ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury leads to oxidative stress and acute inflammatory responses that cause liver damage and have a considerable impact on the postoperative outcome. Much research has been performed to develop possible protective techniques. We aimed to investigate the efficacy of SPA0355, a synthetic thiourea analog, in an animal model of hepatic I/R injury. Male C57BL/6 mice underwent normothermic partial liver ischemia for 45 min followed by varying periods of reperfusion. The animals were divided into three groups: sham operated, I/R and SPA0355 pretreated. Pretreatment with SPA0355 protected against hepatic I/R injury, as indicated by the decreased levels of serum aminotransferase and reduced parenchymal necrosis and apoptosis. Liver synthetic function was also restored by SPA0355 as reflected by the prolonged prothrombin time. To gain insight into the mechanism involved in this protection, we measured the activity of nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB), which revealed that SPA0355 suppressed the nuclear translocation and DNA binding of NF-κB subunits. Concomitantly, the expression of NF-κB target genes such as IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α and iNOS was significantly downregulated. Lastly, the liver antioxidant enzymes superoxide dismutase, catalase and glutathione were upregulated by SPA0355 treatment, which correlated with the reduction in serum malondialdehyde. Our results suggest that SPA0355 pretreatment prior to I/R injury could be an effective method to reduce liver damage. 相似文献

The lithium–oxygen battery has the potential to deliver extremely high energy densities; however, the practical use of Li‐O2 batteries has been restricted because of their poor cyclability and low energy efficiency. In this work, we report a novel Li‐O2 battery with high reversibility and good energy efficiency using a soluble catalyst combined with a hierarchical nanoporous air electrode. Through the porous three‐dimensional network of the air electrode, not only lithium ions and oxygen but also soluble catalysts can be rapidly transported, enabling ultra‐efficient electrode reactions and significantly enhanced catalytic activity. The novel Li‐O2 battery, combining an ideal air electrode and a soluble catalyst, can deliver a high reversible capacity (1000 mAh g?1) up to 900 cycles with reduced polarization (about 0.25 V). 相似文献

High‐performance countercurrent chromatography (HPCCC) with electrospray light‐scattering detection was applied for the first time to isolate a spirostanol and a novel furostanol saponin from Liriope platyphylla. Due to the large differences in KD values between the two compounds, a two‐step HPCCC method was applied in this study. The primary HPCCC employed methylene chloride/methanol/isopropanol/water (9:6:1:4 v/v, 4 mL/min, normal‐phase mode) conditions to yield a spirostanol saponin ( 1 ). After the primary HPCCC run, the solute retained in the stationary phase (SP extract) in HPCCC column was recovered and subjected to the second HPCCC on the n‐hexane/n‐butanol/water system (1:9:10 v/v, 5 mL/min, reversed‐phase mode) to yield a novel furostanol saponin ( 2 ). The isolated spirostanol saponin was determined to be 25(S)‐ruscogenin 1‐O‐β‐d ‐glucopyranosyl (1→2)‐[β‐d ‐xylopyranosyl (1→3)]‐β‐d ‐fucopyranoside (spicatoside A), and the novel furostanol saponin was elucidated to be 26‐O‐β‐d ‐glucopyranosyl‐25(S)‐furost‐5(6)‐ene‐1β‐3β‐22α‐26‐tetraol‐1‐O‐β‐d ‐glucopyranosyl (1→2)‐[β‐d ‐xylopyranosyl‐(1→3)]‐β‐d ‐fucopyranoside (spicatoside D). 相似文献

In this paper, we consider a non-Newtonian fluids with shear dependent viscosity in a bounded domain ${\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^n, n = 2, 3}$ .
