Exfoliation and dispersion of nanoclays in epoxy matrices plays an important role in achieving better physical and mechanical properties of resultant nanocomposites. In this article, modification of clay with an aminic hardener for the increment of dispersion and exfoliation into the epoxy matrix has been investigated. In the solvent media, a slurry of hydrophilic Na-Montmorrilonite was mixed and treated with isophoronediamine (IPDA). The nanocomposites containing epoxy and IPDA-modified clay were produced through a recently developed “slurry compounding” method. Dispersion and exfoliation of the modified clay and the microstructure of the resultant nanocomposite were studied by optical microscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. The samples were then compared with the high shear mixed and sonicated nanocomposites containing commonly used quaternary ammonium modified clays. The comparison showed that dispersion and exfoliation of hardener-modified organoclays in epoxy have been improved due to the treatment of clay and the compounding method.  相似文献

Magnetic and magnetization properties of fcc Co1−xPtx (x?0.3) alloy nanowires fabricated by electrodeposition into self-synthesized anodic alumina templates are investigated. Magnetization curves, measured for varying wire geometries, show a crossover of easy axis of magnetization from parallel to perpendicular to the nanowire axis as a function of the diameter and length. The measured values of coercivity (Hc) and remanent squareness (SQ) of CoPt nanowire arrays, as a function of angle (θ) between the field and wire axis, support the crossover of easy axis of magnetization. The curling mode of the magnetization reversal process is observed for CoPt nanowire arrays. At low temperatures, the easy axis for magnetization of the nanowires is observed to deviate from the room-temperature orientation.  相似文献

Removal of Reactive Black 5 (RB5) from aqueous solutions was carried by the sorption process in the presence and in the absence of ultrasound. Sorption of the dye on the solid phase was investigated in a series of batch sorption experiments to determine the influence of different parameters such as contact time, amount of sorbent and concentration of pollutant on the removal efficiency of RB5 with and without ultrasound. The experimental data were fitted properly to the Freundlich model and the isotherm constants were 28.2 and 7.4 for k(f) and 0.13 and 0.38 for 1/n in the presence and in the absence of ultrasound (20 kHz) respectively. The data were analyzed with different sorption kinetic models and were better fitted with a pseudo-second-order kinetic model. Two ultrasonic generators at 20 and 500 kHz were used for sonication of the system. This investigation also reveals that RB5 can be removed by higher frequency apparatus (500 kHz) without sorbent in about 60 min sonication. The rate of removal was higher at the higher frequency than at the lower one.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss phase space analysis of locally rotationally symmetric Bianchi type I universe model by taking a noninteracting mixture of dust like and viscous radiation like fluid whose viscous pressure satisfies a nonlinear version of the Israel–Stewart transport equation. An autonomous system of equations is established by defining normalized dimensionless variables. In order to investigate stability of the system, we evaluate corresponding critical points for different values of the parameters. We also compute power-law scale factor whose behavior indicates different phases of the universe model. It is found that our analysis does not provide a complete immune from fine-tuning because the exponentially expanding solution occurs only for a particular range of parameters. We conclude that stable solutions exist in the presence of nonlinear model for bulk viscosity with different choices of the constant parameter m for anisotropic universe.  相似文献

This paper is aimed to study the tidal forces produced by a class of regular black holes. We consider the radial infall of test particle and find radial as well as angular components of tidal forces by taking geodesic deviation equations. We also compute geodesic deviation vector by solving geodesic deviation equation numerically. It is concluded that a particle undergos either compression or stretching in radial or angular direction due to tidal forces.  相似文献

Image encryption based on elliptic curves (ECs) is emerging as a new trend in cryptography because it provides high security with a relatively smaller key size when compared with well-known cryptosystems. Recently, it has been shown that the cryptosystems based on ECs over finite rings may provide better security because they require the computational cost for solving the factorization problem and the discrete logarithm problem. Motivated by this fact, we proposed a novel image encryption scheme based on ECs over finite rings. There are three main steps in our scheme, where, in the first step, we mask the plain image using points of an EC over a finite ring. In step two, we create diffusion in the masked image with a mapping from the EC over the finite ring to the EC over the finite field. To create high confusion in the plain text, we generated a substitution box (S-box) based on the ordered EC, which is then used to permute the pixels of the diffused image to obtain a cipher image. With computational experiments, we showed that the proposed cryptosystem has higher security against linear, differential, and statistical attacks than the existing cryptosystems. Furthermore, the average encryption time for color images is lower than other existing schemes.  相似文献

Infrared reflectivity spectra of CuGe2P3 single crystals are measured at room temperature in the wavenumber range from 180 to 4000 cm−1. From an analysis of the spectra the parameters of five vibrational modes are determined. Infrared reflectivity and transmission spectra of Cu2GeS3 are measured at room temperature in the wavenumber range from 180 to 4000 cm−1. From an analysis of the spectra the parameters of the fundamental infrared active lattice modes and of the two-phonon combination modes are determined. From a comparison of the experimental data with group theoretical predictions for the structure models proposed for Cu2GeS3 in the literature it is concluded that Cu2GeS3 crystallizes in a monoclinic lattice.  相似文献

Infrared reflectivity spectra of (CuGe2P3)1−x(6 Ge)x mixed crystals with compositions in the range x = 0.07–0.33 are measured at room temperature in the wavenumber range from 180 to 4000 cm−1. An analysis of the spectra reveals six vibrational modes. The composition dependence of the mode frequencies and of the free carrier concentration and mobility is given and compared with infrared optical data for CuGe2P3.  相似文献
