The mathematical formalism commonly used in treating nonlocal highly singular interactions is revised. The notion of a support cone is introduced, which replaces that of support for nonlocalizable distributions. Such support cones are proven to exist for distributions defined on the Gelfand-Shilov spaces S, where 0<<1. This result leads to a refinement of previous generalizations of the local commutativity condition to nonlocal quantum fields. For string propagators, a new derivation of a representation similar to that of Källen-Lehmann is proposed. We present a novel fluorescence lifetime tomography system applied to a highly scattering autofluorescent phantom containing live cells expressing the fluorophore enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP). The fluorescence signal was excited using a fiber-laser-pumped supercontinuum source and detected using wide-field time gating imaging. To facilitate rapid 3D reconstruction of the fluorescence lifetime distribution, the time-resolved data were Fourier-transformed in time to give complex functions that formed a data set for the Fourier domain reconstruction. Initially the presence of an unspecified background autofluorescence signal impeded reconstruction of the lifetime distribution, but we show that this problem can be addressed using a simple iterative technique.  相似文献

The π 0, η, K 0, ω, and f 2(1270) masses were measured at the HYPERON-Msetup in meson-nucleus interactions at a momentum of 7 GeV/c by using six nuclear targets: Be, C, Al, Cu, Sn, and Pb. The experiment in question proved to be insensitive to the expected effects of a modification to the omega-meson mass in nuclear matter. As for the f 2(1270) meson, its mass and width values averaged over all experimental data, $m_{f_2 }$ = 1275.8 ± 1.0(stat.) ± 0.4(syst.) MeV/c 2 and $\Gamma _{f_2 }$ = 190.3 ± 1.9(stat.) ± 1.8(syst.) MeV/c 2, agree well with the world-average values. At the same time, our experimental data do not rule out the possible effect of an in-medium modification to the f 2(1270)-meson mass for heavy nuclei at a level better than 0.4%.  相似文献
