Carbonylation of benzyl halides to phenylacetic acid was studied in a two-phase system with iron pentacarbonyl as the catalyst precursor. The solutions consisted of a benzyl halide and iron pentacarbonyl in benzene and tetrabutylammonium hydrogen sulfate in aqueous sodium hydroxide. Stirring under carbon monoxide readily produced phenylacetic salts in aqueous phase which were then acidified and extracted with ether. The yields of phenylacetic acid from benzyl iodide and from benzyl bromide were similar at a evel of about 50percnt;, that of the latter being higher by 1%. The yield from benzyl chloride was far less, at a level of only 21%. The rate as studied with gas chromatography was found to decrease in the order benzyl iodide>benzyl bromide>benzyl chloride.  相似文献

A flow-injection configuration based on a dual-phase gas-permeation system from a liquid donor to a gas acceptor stream with a thermistor flow-through detector is proposed for the direct analysis of the gas in the acceptor. This system was applied for the determination of carbon dioxide (in the form of carbonate) using the following chemical reaction: CO(2)(g)+2NH(3)(g)+H(2)O(g)=(NH(4))(2)CO(3)(s), with a linear response from 1x10(-3) to 50x10(-3) mol l(-1) of CO(3)(2-). Carbon dioxide was produced in the liquid donor and permeated into the gaseous acceptor stream of air/water vapor. The detection limit is 1x10(-3) mol l(-1) of carbonate, and a sampling frequency of 60 h(-1) is achieved with a relative standard deviation of 4.1% for replicate injections. The dual-phase gas-permeation flow-injection manifold, along with the membrane and phase separations, as well as the chemical reaction, provides enhanced selectivity when compared with the system employing a liquid acceptor stream, as serious interferents in this system, for instance, acetate and formate, among others, do not interfere in the proposed system.  相似文献

Core-shell colloidal particles were prepared with the core of monodisperse melamine formaldehyde particles (MF) with a diameter of 3.5 μm. The shell deposited on the core by the layer-by-layer (LbL) self-assembly was made with a copolymer ANp3 of 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonate sodium (AMPS) and 3 mol% naphthalene label monomer and poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PD). Nonradiative energy transfer (NRET) from the naphthalene labels deposited on the MF particles to pyrene labels at a polyelectrolyte APy3, a copolymer of AMPS and 3 mol% pyrene label monomer, or to an ionic pyrene probe 1-pyrenemethylamine hydrochloride (PyMeA · HCl) in water was observed. The NRET efficiency was expressed as the emission intensity ratio I/I0 of naphthalene with and without existence of pyrene in the surrounding solution. With increasing pyrene concentration, I/I0 decreased down to about 0.2 and the mechanism for this NRET from the inner naphthalene label to the pyrene labels in solution is still ambiguous.  相似文献

A new highly sensitive and selective chromogenic reagent dibromo-p-methyl-carboxysulfonazo (DBMCSA) was synthesized and studied for the spectrophotometric determination of lead in detail. In 0.25 M phosphoric acid medium, which greatly increases the selectivity, lead reacts with DBMCSA to form a 1:2 blue complex, having a sensitive absorption peak at 648 nm. Under the optimal conditions, Beer's law is obeyed over the range from 0 to 0.8 μg ml−1 Pb(II) and the apparent molar absorptivity is 1.04×105 l mol−1 cm−1. The detection limit and the variation coefficient were found to be 2.14 ng ml−1 and 1.0%, respectively. It is found that, except for Ca(II) and Ba(II), all foreign ions studied do not interfere with determination. The interference caused by Ca(II) and Ba(II) can be easily eliminated by prior extraction with potassium iodide-methylisobutylketone. The method has been applied to the determination of lead in vegetables with satisfactory results.  相似文献

The trypsin digest of a mixture of two proteins, namely cytochrome c and myoglobin, was first separated in the first dimension by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Fractions from the HPLC were collected every 30s with the aid of a fraction collector into a 96-well microtiter plate. After concentration, all the collected fractions were analyzed simultaneaosly in the second dimension by a 96-array capillary electrophoresis system. The labeled peptides were detected by laser-induced fluorescence. An internal standard, allura red, was added to all the fractions, prior to capillary electrophoretic analysis. The internal standard serves two functions, migration time correction and signal intensity correction. The data are presented in two different formats, as an electropherogram of all the fractions and in a two-dimensional (2-D) format. The 2-D plot of the data shows the density of each spot, which corresponds to the concentration of the migrating peptides. The total experimental time for the HPLC and capillary electrophoretic analyses ist less than 1 h, which ist much faster than using 2-D slab-gel electrophoresis or single-capillary capillary electrophoresis.  相似文献

An HPLC (high performance liquid chromatography) method with laser induced fluorescence (LIF) detection is described for the determination of 4-hydroxy-2-nonenal (HNE) formed from lipid peroxidation in rat hepatocytes. Carbonyl compounds were fluorescently labelled by incubating the hepatocyte samples with a tagging reagent, 4-(2-carbazoylpyrrolidin-1-yl)-7-nitro-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole (NBD-ProCZ), at 60 degrees C for 10 min. The hydrazone derivatives were extracted with a C18 solid phase extraction (SPE) cartridge and separated on a reversed-phase HPLC column. The detection limit was 2.5 fmol or 0.5 nM (5 microL injection) of HNE in the cell homogenate. Method precision (C.V.) was 5% at the 5 nM level. The method has been used to determine free HNE in rat hepatocyte samples treated with several pro-oxidant toxins. A significant HNE increase (from 4 to 27.6 pmol/10(6) cells) was observed with the samples treated by allyl alcohol. The results were in accordance with those for malondialdehyde formation as measured by a thiobarbituric acid (TBA) assay.  相似文献

The efficient utilization of carbon dioxide (CO2) as a C1 feedstock is of great significance for green and sustainable development. Therefore, the efficient chemical conversion of CO2 into value-added products has recently attracted a lot of research attention in recent years. The transformation of CO2 generally requires high-energy substrates, specific catalysts, and harsh reaction conditions due to its high thermodynamic stability and kinetic inertness. Consequently, several efforts have been dedicated toward the development of high-performance catalysts and new reaction routes for CO2 conversion over the last few decades. To date, many routes of convert CO2 into value-added chemicals have been proposed, together with the development of heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysts. Among the advanced catalysts reported to date, ionic liquids (ILs) have been widely investigated and show great potential for the efficient, selective, and economical conversion of CO2 into highly valuable products under mild conditions, even under ambient conditions. Some task-specific ILs have been designed with unique functional groups (e.g., —OH, —SO3H, —NH2, —COOH, and —C≡N), which can act as the solvent, absorbent, activating agent, catalyst, or cocatalyst to realize the transformation of CO2 under metal-free and mild conditions. In addition, a variety of catalytic systems composed of ILs and metal catalysts have also been reported for the transformation of CO2, in which the combination of the IL and metal catalyst is responsible for CO2 conversion with high efficiency. In this review article, we summarize the recent advances in IL-mediated CO2 transformation into chemicals prepared via C—O, C—N, C—S, C—H, and C—C bond forming processes. ILs that can chemically capture CO2 with high capacity are first introduced, which can activate CO2 via the formation of IL-based carbonates or carbamates, thus realizing the transformation of CO2 under metal-free and mild conditions. Recent progress in IL-mediated CO2 transformations to form carbonates and various kinds of N- and S-containing compounds (e.g., oxazolidinones, ureas, benzimidazolones, formamides, methylamines, benzothiazoles, and other chemicals) as well as CO2 hydrogenation to give formic acid, methane, acetic acid, low-carbon alcohols, and hydrocarbons has been summarized in this review with a focus on the reaction routes, catalytic systems, and reaction mechanism. In these reactions, ILs can simultaneously activate the substrate via strong H-bonding in addition to activating CO2, and the cooperative effects among the ionic and molecular species and metal catalysts accomplish the reactions of CO2 with various kinds of substrates to afford a wide range of value-added chemicals. Finally, the shortcomings and perspectives of ILs are discussed. In short, IL-mediated CO2 transformations provide green and effective routes for the synthesis of high-value chemicals, which may have great potential for a wide range of applications.  相似文献
