The reaction of 2‐(aminomethyl)aniline with 2 equivalents of PPh2Cl in the presence of Et3N, proceeds in CH2Cl2 to give N,N′‐bis(diphenylphosphino)‐2‐(aminomethyl)aniline 1 in good yield. Oxidation of 1 with aqueous H2O2, elemental sulfur or gray selenium gave the corresponding oxide, sulfide and selenide dichalcogenides [Ph2P(E)NHC6H4CH2NHP(E)Ph2] (E: O, 2a; S, 2b; Se, 2c), respectively. The reaction of [Ph2PNHC6H4CH2NHPPh2] with PdCl2(cod), PtCl2(cod) and [Cu(MeCN)4]PF6 gave the corresponding chelate complexes, PdCl21, PtCl21 and [Cu(1)2]PF6. The new compounds were fully characterized by NMR, IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The catalytic activity of the Pd(II) complex was tested in the Suzuki coupling and Heck reactions. The Pd(II) complex catalyzes the Suzuki coupling and Heck reaction, affording biphenyls and stilbenes respectively, in good yields. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

Ultraviolet/visible photon transmission measurements were applied to study liquid crystal phase transitions in the binary BOPDOB-BOPOOB mixture. A sequence exhibiting a new reentrant, namely isotropic-nematic-smectic A-C-A as temperature is lowered, is identified. For the smectic A-C transition, the critical exponent g is seen to cross over from the mean-field 0.501 - 0.008 to the helium-like 0.336 - 0.012 as the transition is approached. A series of Lewis bases were screened for Abramov-type phosphine additions to aldehydes. A novel phosphine oxide aziridinyl phosphonate POAP-A was found to be better than the others in forming the product in 96% yield and with 42% ee. Reaching a control on the mesoscopic morphology and internal molecular arrangement of cyanine aggregates is an important step for realization of devices with tailor-made optical properties. Despite a wealth of research, understanding of the relationship between molecular organization, excitonic states and dynamics of aggregates is still preliminary. To this end, we have employed polarized absorption spectroscopy to investigate the relationship between internal molecular organization and excitonic states of J-aggregates in 1,1′,3,3′tetraethyl-5,5′,6,6′-tetrachlorobenzimidazolocarbocyanine (TTBC) thin films in poly-vinyl alcohol (PVA). Angular dependence of the UV–vis spectra has been measured at 11 different orientations between the electric field polarization and the macroscopic alignment axis. Aggregate spectral response consisted of an asymmetrically split Davydov pair of bands exhibiting opposite polarization: an H-band (505 nm, Lorentzian-like, polarized along the macroscopic film axis) and a J-band (594 nm, one-dimensional J-aggregate like band shape, polarized perpendicular to the macroscopic film axis). The polarized absorption observations were found to be consistent with a herringbone model for which the internal molecular arrangement, the excited state structure and dynamics have recently been detailed by us upon interpretation of isotropic absorption data in ionic aqueous solution. 相似文献

The heat transfer and pressure drop were experimentally investigated in a coiled wire inserted tube in turbulent flow regime. The coiled wire has equilateral triangular cross section and was inserted separately from the tube wall. The experiments were carried out with three different pitch ratios (P/D = 1, 2 and 3) and two different ratio of equilateral triangle length side to tube diameter (a/D = 0.0714 and 0.0892) at a distance (s) of 1 mm from the tube wall in the range of Reynolds number from 3500 to 27,000. Uniform heat flux was applied to the external surface of the tube and air was selected as fluid. The experimental results obtained from a smooth tube were compared with those from the studies in literature for validation of experimental set-up. The use of coiled wire inserts leads to a considerable increase in heat transfer and pressure drop over the smooth tube. The Nusselt number rises with the increase of Reynolds number and wire thickness and the decrease of pitch ratio. The highest overall enhancement efficiency of 36.5% is achieved for the wire with a/D = 0.0892 and P/D = 1 at Reynolds number of 3858. Consequently, the experimental results reveal that the best operating regime of all coiled wire inserts is detected at low Reynolds number, leading to more compact heat exchanger. 相似文献

Varying amounts of nitric acid catalyst, water and ethyl alcohol were used in the preparation of SiO2 sols by hydrolysis and condensation reactions of tetraethyl orthosilicate in a one step acid catalysis process. Hydrolysis of TEOS was followed by FT-IR analyses. Size of SiO2 particles was seen to vary in 8–41 nm range with respect to changing HNO3 and water amounts in the sols. Gelation occurred in some systems. Surfaces of films were examined by FESEM and AFM, after coating on glass substrates by dip coating. Thicknesses of the films were measured to be in the range of 80–120 nm. 5.6 ± 0.2% point increase in light transmittance was obtained when HNO3/TEOS (mol/mol) ratio of 4.74 × 10? 4 and H2O/TEOS (mol/mol) ratio of 9.08 were utilized. Sols were found to be stable for months and coatings prepared after 45 days still provided 5.2 ± 0.2% point increase in light transmittance. 相似文献

From the roots of a white‐flowering Aconitum orientale Miller sample, collected in Artvin‐?av?at, Turkey, a new diterpenoid alkaloid named aconitorientaline ( 1 ) was isolated, along with the known diterpenoid alkaloids septentiriodine, lappaconitine, finaconitine, ranaconitine, puberanidine and delstaphinine (Fig.). The structure of 1 was established on the basis of 1H‐ and 13C‐NMR, DEPT, 1H,1H‐COSY, NOESY, HSQC, and HMBC studies. All the known compounds were identified by comparison of their 1H‐ and 13C‐NMR data and co‐TLC behavior with those of authentic samples. 相似文献
