The angular distributions of secondary pions, protons, and deuterons originating from π?Pb interactions at an incident-pion momentum of 5 GeV/c was determined in a new run of measurements relying on track reconstruction. While showing a decrease over a large angular interval with increasing emission angle, the yield of cumulative particles of each species was found to be anomalously large near the backward direction.  相似文献

General Relativity and Standard Model are considered as a theory of dynamical scale symmetry with definite initial data compatible with the accepted Higgs mechanism. In this theory the Early Universe behaves like a factory of electroweak bosons and Higgs scalars, and it gives a possibility to identify three peaks in the Cosmic Microwave Background power spectrum with the contributions of photonic decays and annihilation processes of primordial Higgs, W and Z bosons in agreement with the QED coupling constant, Weinberg’s angle, and Higgs’ particle mass of about 118 GeV. Unsteady rarefied gas flows in narrow channels accompanied by shock wave formation and propagation were studied by solving the Boltzmann kinetic equation. The formation of a shock wave from an initial discontinuity of gas parameters, its propagation, damping, and reflection from the channel end face were analyzed. The Boltzmann equation was solved using finite differences. The collision integral was calculated on a fixed velocity grid by a conservative projection method. A detector of shock wave position was developed to keep track of the wave front. Parallel computations were implemented on a cluster of computers with the use of the MPI technology. Basic patterns of the velocity versus wavenumber dispersion of the surface waves in solids coated by a relatively light or dense, "slow" or "fast" layer are discussed in the general case of an arbitrary anisotropy of substrate and coating materials. The onset of the subsonic wave branch, characterized by either a speeding or a slowing trend, is examined. A study of the special features of contribution of domain boundaries to the effective permittivity ? eff * of a TGS crystal is made in electric fields of various frequencies and in a wide temperature range of the polar phase, up to the phase transition temperature.
