We present the design of a Multiband two-handed metamaterial (MM) with the composite structure combined ring and cross pairs (RP + CP) in the terahertz regime. The dual-band left-handed and single-band right-handed transmission properties of this composite structure were explored by the FDTD method. The MM exhibits left-handed and right-handed transmission pass bands around the frequencies of 0.43 THz, 1.32 THz and 0.85 THz for the terahertz electromagnetic (EM) wave normal incidence, respectively. The surface currents distributions are demonstrated to discuss the physical mechanism of the left-handed properties of the proposed MM. The retrieved equivalent EM parameters and the refraction phenomenon based on a wedge-shaped model verify the left-handed properties. Furthermore, the dual-band left-handed transmission properties of RP + CP structure can be tunable individually by changing the structural parameters. The presented design of terahertz two-handed MM offers a flexibility for investigation of their novel EM properties, and important terahertz device applications.  相似文献

Encapsulation of tetraazamacrocyclic complexes of Co(II), Cu(II) and V(IV) into zeolite-Y has been accomplished, and the resulting materials were used as heterogeneous catalysts for aerobic oxidation of styrene. The materials were prepared by a ship-in-a-bottle method, in which the transition metal cations were first ion-exchanged into zeolite-Y and then reacted with ethylenediamine, followed by acetylacetone. The pure tetraazamacrocyclic complexes were characterized by FTIR, solid UV–Vis and elemental analysis. The structural integrity throughout the immobilization procedure, the successful immobilization of the macrocyclic complexes, and the loadings of metal ions and macrocyclic ligands were determined by characterization techniques such as FTIR, diffuse reflection UV–Vis, inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, TG/DTA and powder X-ray diffraction. Compared with their homogeneous analogues, the catalytic properties of the encapsulated macrocyclic complexes in the oxidation of styrene with air were investigated. The immobilized complexes proved to be active catalysts and could be reused without significant loss in activity.  相似文献

A human plasma sample was subjected to nondenaturing micro 2DE and a gel area (5 mm × 18 mm) that includes high‐density lipoprotein (HDL) was cut into 1 mm × 1 mm squares, then the proteins in the 90 gel pieces were analyzed by quantitative LC‐MS/MS. Grid‐cutting of the gel was employed to; (i) ensure the total analysis of the proteins in the area, (ii) standardize the conditions of analysis by LC‐MS/MS, (iii) reconstruct the protein distribution patterns from the quantity data. Totally 154 proteins were assigned in the 90 gel pieces and the quantity distribution of each was reconstructed as a color density pattern (a native protein map). The map of apolipoprotein (Apo) A‐I showed a wide apparent mass distribution characteristic to HDL and was compared with the maps of the other 153 proteins. Eleven proteins showed maps of wide distribution that overlapped with the map of Apo A‐I, and all have been reported to be the components of HDL. Further, seven minor proteins associated with HDL were detected at the gel positions of high Apo A‐I quantity. These results for the first time visualized the localization of HDL apolipoproteins on a nondenaturing 2DE gel and strongly suggested their interactions.  相似文献

We report on a sensor for epinephrine (EP) that is based on an ITO electrode modified with multi-walled carbon nanotubes pre-coated with a polymerized ionic liquid (PIL-MWNTs). A chitosan film was then electrodeposited on the ITO electrode in the presence of EP (the template) and the PIL-MWNTs. This film acts as an excellent recognition matrix due to its excellent film-forming ability and the many functional groups that favor hydrogen bond formation with the target (EP). The PIL-MWNTs, in turn, can improve the sensing performance due to their good electrical conductivity, high dispersity, and large surface area. The imprinted films were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform IR spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis. The electrochemistry of the imprinted electrode was investigated by cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, differential pulse voltammetry and chronoamperometry. The response to EP is linear in the 0.2 μM to 0.67 mM concentration range, and the detection limit is as low as 60 nM (at an S/N of 3). The electrode is reusable and offers good reproducibility and stability.

An epinephrine imprinted electrode was facile achieved by electrodepositing chitosan on ITO surface in the presence of epinephrine and polymerized ionic liquid-functionalized carbon nanotubes, followed by removal of the epinephrine template molecule. In this paper, we establish a Gromoll-Meyer splitting theorem and a shifting theorem for JC2-0(E,R) and by using the finite-dimensional approximation, mollifiers and Morse theory we generalize the Poincaré-Hopf theorem to JC1(E,R) case. After cardiac surgery, tissue damage to the heart may cause adhesion between heart and its surrounding tissues. Post-operative cardiac adhesion may lead to limited normal cardiac function, decreased quality of cardiac surgery, and increased risk of major bleeding during reoperation. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an effective anti-adhesion therapy to overcome cardiac adhesion. An injectable polyzwitterionic lubricant is developed to prevent adhesion between the heart and surrounding tissues and to maintain normal pumping function of the heart. This lubricant is evaluated in a rat heart adhesion model. Poly (2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine) (i.e., PMPC) polymers are successfully prepared via free radical polymerization of monomer MPC, and the optimal lubricating performance, biocompatibility both in vitro and in vivo is demonstrated. Besides, a rat heart adhesion model is conducted to evaluate the bio-functionality of lubricated PMPC. The results prove that PMPC is a promising lubricant for complete adhesion-prevention. The injectable polyzwitterionic lubricant shows excellent lubricating properties and biocompatibility and can effectively prevent cardiac adhesion.  相似文献
