Optical absorption spectra of a widegap hydrogenated amorphous silicon film have been estimated by resonant photothermal bending spectroscopy. It is found that excess absorption exists over the photon energy region of 1.2–1.6 eV. This excess absorption decreases by light illumination and does not recover through thermal annealing. The decrease in the excess absorption may be due to oxidization of the film by light illumination.  相似文献

We have developed a new program, SUPERPOSE, to superpose two molecules based on the physicochemical properties of functional atoms within individual molecules. SUPERPOSE treats a pseudo-molecule consisting of functional atoms instead of a real molecule. Four types of physicochemical properties – hydrophobicity, presence of a hydrogen-bonding donor, presence of a hydrogen-bonding acceptor and presence of a hydrogen-bonding donor/acceptor – were supposed and a score was given to each overlap. When functional atoms with the same physicochemical properties were overlapped, points were added to the score, and when the functional atoms with different physicochemical properties were overlapped, points were subtracted. We applied SUPERPOSE to 12 pairs of 24 enzyme inhibitors and found that the best scored overlay for each inhibitor pair could successfully reproduce the superposition obtained from X-ray crystallography. Next, we applied SUPERPOSE to estimate the active conformations of the thrombin inhibitors MQPA, 4-TAPAP and NAPAP. Superpositions of conformers sampled by the high-temperature molecular dynamics calculation with respect to the three inhibitors were performed, and 13 sets of conformers having the best common overlay to the three inhibitors were selected. One among 13 sets was consistent with the superposition of the active conformations derived from the X-ray crystallography of the thrombin–inhibitor complexes.  相似文献

This article summarizes the enzyme‐catalyzed synthesis and chemical recycling of biodegradable aliphatic polyesters and poly(carbonate ester)s directed towards establishing green polymer chemistry. Lipase catalyzes the condensation polymerization of a hydroxy acid, diacid with diol, diacid anhydride with oxirane, and polyanhydride with diol, or the ring‐opening polymerization of lactones of small to large rings, and a cyclic diester to produce the corresponding polyesters. Also, lipase catalyzes the condensation polymerization of a dialkyl carbonate with diol, and the ring‐opening polymerization of a cyclic carbonate to produce the corresponding polycarbonates. These polyesters and polycarbonates were selectively degraded by lipase to produce repolymerizable oligomers. These chemical recycling systems using an enzyme will establish a novel methodology for sustainable polymer recycling. Finally, current trends in green polymer production using enzymes are discussed.  相似文献

Diethyl L ‐aspartate was polymerized by proteinase at a temperature between 4 and 50°C to yield poly(ethyl α,β‐L ‐aspartate). Bulk polymerization of diethyl L ‐aspartate, especially at temperatures between 40 and 50°C, and preferably using alkalophilic proteinase with the addition of a small amount of water gave poly(ethyl L ‐aspartate) as a white powder with a molecular weight of up to 3 600 and having about 88% α‐linkages.  相似文献

The selection of odor‐active conformers and the construction of a model for a targeted odor type, i.e., for the lily‐of‐the‐valley odor, were examined. The disagreement of the odors of 1,3,4,5‐tetrahydro‐2‐benzoxepin derivative 1 and 3‐[4‐(tert‐butyl)phenyl]‐2‐methylpropanal ( 2 ) is discussed in terms of their stable conformers. The conformer active for the lily‐of‐the‐valley odor was investigated by conformational analyses of several related compounds. Based on the integrated model consisting of the assumed active conformers (Fig. 5), compounds anticipated to possess the lily‐of‐the‐valley odor were designed and synthesized. The odor of synthetic 7‐(tert‐butyl)‐1,2,4,5‐tetrahydro‐3H‐benzocyclohepten‐3‐one ( 8 ) and 3‐[4‐(tert‐butyl)phenyl]cyclopentanone ( 13 ) were evaluated by perfumers to have a floral odor and to recall the lily‐of‐the‐valley and lilac odors, respectively. Our methodology to design new odoriferous compounds, based on conformational analysis, selection of odor‐active conformers, and construction of a model, proved to be satisfactory.  相似文献

Near-infrared (NIR) diffuse reflectance spectra have been measured by use of a rotating drawer for pellets of 12 kinds of ethylene/vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers with vinyl acetate (VA, the comonomer) varying in the 7–44 wt % range. They are unambiguously discriminated from one another by a score plot of the principal component analysis (PCA) Factor 1 and 2, based upon the NIR spectra pretreated by multiplicative scatter correction (MSC). Principal component (PC) weight loadings for Factor 1 show that the discrimination relies largely upon bands due to the overtone and combination modes arising from the VA unit. We have found one “outlier” in the score plot and elucidated its spectral characteristics based upon PC weight loadings for Factor 2. Partial least-squares (PLS) regression has been applied to propose calibration models which predict the VA content in EVA. The models have been prepared for three kinds of pretreatment, the first derivative, the second derivative, and MSC; and four kinds of wavelength regions. The NIR spectra in the 1100–2200 nm region after the MSC treatment has given the best correlation coefficient and standard error of prediction (SEP) of 0.998 and 0.70%, respectively. The calibration models, prepared by NIR diffuse reflectance spectroscopy for the pellet samples, are compared with previously reported models by NIR transmission spectroscopy for the flowing molten samples, and with those by Raman spectroscopy for the pellet samples. PLS regression has also allowed us to predict melting points of the copolymers with the correlation coefficient and SEP of 0.997 and 0.78°C, respectively. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Six-membered D,L-, L,L- and D,D-lactides were polymerized by lipase over a temperature range of 80 to 130 °C to yield the polylactide with a molecular weight (Mw) of greater than 270000. Among the lipases tested, lipase PS gave the greatest molecular weight of polylactide. The polymerization of D,L-lactide by lipase was better than that of L,L- and D,D-lactides. The polymerization of lactide by lipase showed the characteristic features, such as induction period for the initiation of polymerization, formation of oligomer and subsequent formation of high molecular weight polylactide, which may imply the characteristic polymerization by lipase. Immobilization of lipase on celite significantly enhanced the polymerization of lactide particularly with respect to the low concentration of the enzyme and the Mw of the resultant polymer. It was found that there is no clear relationship between enzymatic polymerizability and enzymatic degradability with respect to the enzyme origin and the stereochemistry of lactide.  相似文献
