Memory Effect in Ceramic Superconductors

We measured the time decay of the magnetic moment of high T_c superconductors YBa₂Cu₃O_7-δ ceramic samples and found the memory effect which has hitherto been reported only in single crystals. The temperature and field ranges, especially the memory phenomenon in ceramic samples at liquid nitrogen temperature can only be understood in a combined picture of both flux creep and glass behaviour     

平台石墨炉原子吸收测磷的方法研究

研究了平台石墨炉原子吸收测定磷的方法,表明以氯化钯和硝酸钙的混合液作为基体改进剂测定生物样品中的磷效果最好,方法特征量为8×10~(-9)g,工作曲线线性范围为0～0.400吸光度,精密度好,抗干扰能力强,方法简单,利用标准曲线即可测定生物样品中磷。     

Synthesis,characterization, and micellization of an epoxy‐based amphiphilic diblock copolymer of ϵ‐caprolactone and glycidyl methacrylate by enzymatic ring‐opening polymerization and atom transfer radical polymerization

Amphiphilic diblock copolymer polycaprolactone‐block‐poly(glycidyl methacrylate) (PCL‐b‐PGMA) was synthesized via enzymatic ring‐opening polymerization (eROP) and atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). Methanol first initiated eROP of ?‐caprolactone (?‐CL) in the presence of biocatalyst Novozyme‐435 under anhydrous conditions. The resulting monohydroxyl‐terminated polycaprolactone (PCL–OH) was subsequently converted to a bromine‐ended macroinitiator (PCL–Br) for ATRP by esterification with α‐bromopropionyl bromide. PCL‐b‐PGMA diblock copolymers were synthesized in a subsequent ATRP of glycidyl methacrylate (GMA). A kinetic analysis of ATRP indicated a living/controlled radical process. The macromolecular structures were characterized for PCL–OH, PCL–Br, and the block copolymers by means of nuclear magnetic resonance, gel permeation chromatography, and infrared spectroscopy. Differential scanning calorimetry and wide‐angle X‐ray diffraction analyses indicated that the copolymer composition (?‐CL/GMA) had a great influence on the thermal properties. The well‐defined, amphiphilic diblock copolymer PCL‐b‐PGMA self‐assembled into nanoscale micelles in aqueous solutions, as investigated by dynamic light scattering and transmission electron microscopy. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Numerical Computation of Figure-eight Solution for 3-body Problems

The main goal of this paper is to compute the Figure-eight solutions for the planar Newtonian 3-body problem with equal masses by finding the critical points of the functional associated with the motion equations of 3-body in plane R2. The algorithm adopted here is the steepest descent method, which is simple but very valid for our problem.

Population transfer in multilevel system through modified stimulated Raman adiabatic passage

Stimulated Raman adiabatic passage (STIRAP) has been successfully extended to multilevel system. During the STIRAP process, the intermediate levels have notable population which is detrimental if these levels could decay to other levels through spontaneous emission. This paper proposes a novel method to reduce the intermediate level population during the STIRAP process. A complete population transfer can be achieved in this modified STIRAP even if the intermediate level decays to other levels.
