The rhodium-catalysed reaction of 1-(2-haloaryl)cyclobutanols afforded 3,3-disubstituted α-tetralones. The reaction was applied to the asymmetric synthesis of α-tetralones bearing a chiral quaternary carbon centre at the 3-position, which was otherwise difficult to execute. 相似文献

The structure of the eutectic-type iron-boron alloys (up to 3.5 wt% B) crystallized at various velocities has been studied. It was established that due to temperature increase a coarse structure of the eutectic Fe+Fe2B transforms into a fine dendritic structure. High-temperature annealing leads to the destruction of columnar construction of the eutectic phase and boride dendrites subsequently transform into the inclusions of spherical shape. These processes are more active at high velocities leading to decrease of strength properties and increase of elasticity of the alloys. Such treatment makes possible hot repartition of the ingots from the alloys Fe+3%B through their forging so that the ingots can be rolled into 3-5 mm thick platelets. The obtained product may serve as a material applicable for the preparation of neutron-absorption protective constructions. 相似文献

Most bacterial biosynthetic gene clusters (BGCs) are “silent BGCs” that are expressed poorly or not at all under normal culture conditions. However, silent BGCs, even in part, may be conditionally expressed in response to external stimuli in the original bacterial habitats. The growing knowledge of bacterial membrane vesicles (MVs) suggests that they could be promising imitators of the exogenous stimulants, especially given their functions as signaling mediators in bacterial cell-to-cell communication. Therefore, we envisioned that MVs added to bacterial cultures could activate diverse silent BGCs. Herein, we employed Burkholderia multivorans MVs, which induced silent metabolites in a wide range of bacteria in Actinobacteria, Bacteroidetes and Proteobacteria phyla. A mechanistic analysis of MV-induced metabolite production in Xenorhabdus innexi suggested that the B. multivorans MVs activate silent metabolite production by inhibiting quorum sensing in X. innexi. In turn, the X. innexi MVs carrying some MV-induced peptides suppressed the growth of B. multivorans, highlighting the interspecies communication between B. multivorans and X. innexi through MV exchange. 相似文献

An H2O2 molecule was isolated inside hydroxylated open-cage fullerene derivatives by mixing an H2O2 solution with a precursor molecule followed by reduction of one of carbonyl groups on its orifice. Depending on the reduction site, two structural isomers for H2O2@open-fullerenes were obtained. A high encapsulation ratio of 81 % was attained at low temperature. The structures of the peroxosolvate complexes thus obtained were studied by 1H NMR spectroscopy, X-ray analysis, and DFT calculations, showing strong hydrogen bonding between the encapsulated H2O2 and the hydroxy group located at the center of the orifice. This OH group was found to act as a kinetic stopper, and the formation of the hydrogen bonding caused thermodynamic stabilization of the H2O2 molecule, both of which prevent its escape from the cage. One of the peroxosolvates was isolated by HPLC, affording H2O2@open-fullerene with 100 % encapsulation ratio, likely due to the intramolecular hydrogen-bonding interaction. 相似文献

The Pt0 complex [Pt(PPh3)(Eind2‐BPEP)] with a pyridine‐based PNP‐pincer‐type phosphaalkene ligand (Eind2‐BPEP) has a highly planar geometry around Pt with ∑(Pt)=358.6°. This coordination geometry is very uncommon for formal d10 complexes, and the Pd and Ni homologues with the same ligands adopt distorted tetrahedral geometries. DFT calculations reveal that both the Pt and Pd complexes are M0 species with nearly ten valence electrons on the metals whereas their atomic orbital occupancies are evidently different from one another. The Pt complex has a higher occupancy of the atomic 6s orbital because of strong s–d hybridization due to relativistic effects, thereby adopting a highly planar geometry reflecting the shape and orientation of the partially unoccupied orbital. 相似文献

We describe herein formal syntheses of the indole alkaloids cis‐trikentrin A and herbindole B from a common meso‐hydroquinone intermediate prepared by a ruthenium‐catalyzed [2+2+1+1] cycloaddition that has not been used previously in natural product synthesis. Key steps include a sterically demanding Buchwald–Hartwig amination as well as a unique C(sp3)?H amination/indole formation. Objective: The study aim was to investigate the association between initiating mobilization within 7 days after onset and symptomatic cerebral vasospasm (SCV) in patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH). Methods: This was a retrospective multicenter case-control study in Japan. Patients with a diagnosis of aSAH who underwent physical therapy with/without occupational therapy were included and categorized into 2 groups according to the presence or absence of SCV. Initiating mobilization was defined as sitting on the bed edge (at least once, with/without assist, regardless of duration) within 7 days after aSAH onset. Cox proportional hazards regression analysis was performed to evaluate the association between initiating mobilization within 7 days after onset and SCV. Results: The analysis included 510 patients. Among all included patients, 57 (11.2%) patients had SCV. In the univariate Cox proportional hazards regression analysis, initiating of mobilization was not associated with SCV (hazard ratio [HR] = 0.78; 95% confidence interval [CI] = 0.45–1.32). In the multivariate analysis, only the modified Fisher scale was significantly associated with SCV (HR = 26.23; 95% CI = 1.21–571.0). Conclusion: Initiating mobilization within 7 days after aSAH onset was not associated with SCV in patients with aSAH. 相似文献

[2+2] Cycloaddition reactions of P2 with alkenes were predicted to have concerted paths, that is, pseudoexcitation, distorted 2πs+2πs, and 2πs+2πa processes without any interventions of intermediates. The pseudoexcitation and/or distorted 2πs+2πs paths with retention of configuration of alkenes are kinetically preferred to the 2πs+2πa path with inversion of configuration.
