A stereoselective and efficient total synthesis of optically active tetrodotoxin (TTX) is described. A polyfunctionalized key cyclitol compound containing branched-chains for the synthesis of TTX was prepared from D-glucose employing the Henry reaction (Nitro aldol reaction) as the key transformation. Several azulene-substituted thioketones, 1-thiobenzoylazulene (1a) and di(1-azulenyl) thioketone (2a) and their derivatives (1b and 2b-d) with alkyl substituents on each azulene ring, were prepared and their intramolecular pericyclization reaction was examined. The thioketones with a 3-alkyl substituent on each azulene ring exhibited the presumed pericyclization reaction under thermal and acid-catalyzed conditions, although the cases of the 1-azulenyl thioketones without the 3-alkyl substituents afforded a complex mixture under similar conditions. The intramolecular reaction following the intramolecular hydrogen transfer afforded the products 13b, 14b, and 14c. The products 13b and 14b were converted into the corresponding cations 18(+) and 19(+), which have structural similarity with that of the phenalenyl cation. These cations exhibited the expected two-step reduction waves upon CV, although the ESR analysis revealed that the neutral radical state did not have the presumed high stability. 相似文献

A novel chitosan-based chelating resin modified with tris(2-aminoethyl)amine moiety (CCTS-TAA) was synthesized, and its characteristics in the collection/concentration of mercury was examined. The synthesized resin showed good adsorption toward mercury in a wide pH range, and the adsorbed mercury can be easily eluted by using 2M HNO(3) without any addition of complexing agent. The resin was then packed in a mini-column and the mini-column was installed on a computer-controlled automated-pretreatment (Auto-Pret) system coupled with inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES) for on-line mercury collection and determination at trace level. 相似文献

THP (tetrahydropyran) has been found to show an excellent stability towards autooxidation, compared with THF. Tributyltin hydride mediated radical cyclization, when conducted in THF as a solvent, suffers from competition of hydrogen abstraction from the solvent, whereas the use of THP resulted in the course to negligible degree. A novel partitioning collection device comprising a glass cartridge packed with poly(dimethylsiloxane)‐coated macroporous silica particles was developed for the precise quantification of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in air. The analyte collection and elution performances achieved using different amounts of poly(dimethylsiloxane) coating were quantitatively evaluated. The sample retention power increased with increasing the coating, and more than 250 L of air could be collected without analyte breakthrough at a sampling temperature of 35°C. During the air collection, the moisture in the air was not retained on the particles due to the hydrophobic surface of the sorbent. A complete and rapid elution of the collected analytes from the device was accomplished by the passage of only 10 mL of acetone with ultrasonication for 1 min. The proposed method was successfully applied for the determination of airborne polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in tunnel air. 相似文献

In this paper, we investigated the consistency of visual perception for the change of reflection images in an augmented reality setting. Reflection images with distortion and magnification were generated by changing the capture position of the environment map. Observers evaluated the distortion and magnification in reflection images where the reflected objects were arranged symmetrically or asymmetrically. Our results confirmed that the observers’ visual perception was more sensitive to changes in distortion than in magnification in the reflection images. Moreover, the asymmetrical arrangement of reflected objects effectively expands the acceptable range of distortion compared with the symmetrical arrangement. 相似文献

5-Uridine derivative carrying a TEMPO radical (UST) was prepared and its single strand (ssUST) and a double strand (dsUST) with its complementary strand were obtained. Similarly, single strands carrying two and five radicals (ssUST2 and ssUST5, respectively) and the corresponding double strands (dsUST2 and dsUST5) were prepared. Their electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectra showed typical anisotropic broadening in the high field line. The rotational correlation times, tau(R), estimated by analyzing the EPR spectra are 1.1 x 10(-10), 5.9 x 10(-10), and 14 x 10(-10) s for UST, ssUSTm, and dsUSTm, respectively. The water-proton relaxivities, r(1) and r(2), at 25 MHz, 0.59 T, and 25 degrees C, also increased in the same order and the r(1) values were 0.26, 0.41, and 0.56 mM(-1) s(-1) for UST, ssUSTm, and dsUSTm, respectively. The r(1) values of 1.00 and 2.06 mM(-1) s(-1) for dsUST2 and dsUST5, respectively, were obtained. 相似文献

A method for the simultaneous extraction of four tricyclic antidepressants from human plasma samples using pipette tip SPE with MonoTip C(18) tips is presented. Human plasma (0.1 mL) containing four tricyclic antidepressants (amitriptyline, amoxapine, imipramine, and trimipramine) and an internal standard (IS), protriptyline, was mixed with 0.4 mL of distilled water and 100 microL 1 M NaOH solution. After centrifugation of the mixture, the supernatant was extracted to the C(18) phase of the tip by 20 repeated aspirating/dispensing cycles using a manual micropipettor. The analytes retained in the tip were eluted with methanol by five repeated aspirating/dispensing cycles. Without evaporation and reconstitution, the eluate was directly injected into a gas chromatograph injector and detected by a mass spectrometer with SIM in the positive-ion electron impact mode. Recovery of the four antidepressants and IS spiked into human plasma was 80.2-92.1%. The regression equations for the four antidepressants showed excellent linearity in the range of 0.2-40 ng/0.1 mL. LODs and LOQs for the four drugs were 0.05-0.2 ng/0.1 mL and 0.2-0.5 ng/0.1 mL, respectively. Intra- and interday CVs for the four drugs in plasma were no greater than 9.5%. 相似文献

Despite the rapid and enormous progress in biotechnologies, the biochemical analysis of membrane proteins is still a difficult
task. The presence of the large hydrophobic region buried in the lipid bilayer membrane (transmembrane domain) makes it difficult
to analyze membrane proteins in standard assays developed for water-soluble proteins. To handle membrane proteins, the lipid
bilayer membrane may be used as a platform to sustain their functionalities. Relatively slow progress in developing micro
total analysis systems (μTAS) for membrane protein analysis directly reflects the difficulty of handling lipid membranes,
which is a common problem in bulk measurement technologies. Nonetheless, researchers are continuing to develop efficient and
sensitive analytical microsystems for the study of membrane proteins. Here, we review the latest developments, which enable
detection of events caused by membrane proteins, such as ion channel current, membrane transport, and receptor/ligand interaction,
by utilizing microfabricated structures. High-throughput and highly sensitive detection systems for membrane proteins are
now becoming a realistic goal. Although most of these systems are still in the early stages of development, we believe this
field will become one of the most important applications of μTAS for pharmaceutical and clinical screenings as well as for

Conformational change of the main chain of poly(methylphenylsilane) functionalized with pendant azobenzene has been studied in the solution and in the film state. The conformation of the main chain was found to depend on the molar ratio of the Si units with and without the pendant azobenzene moiety. The inflection region for the conformational change was 0.3–0.5 of the molar ratio. The conformation of the main chain changed by the photoisomerization of the pendant azobenzene moiety in the film state. The efficiency of the conformational change of the main chain increased with the decrease of the molar ratio, accompanied by the highest final value of degree of the conformational change at the molar ratio of 0.5.
