Usually, Sm2+ ions could be reduced by heating the materials in reducing atmospheres. Exposure to ionizing radiations is also known to cause Sm3+→Sm2+ conversion. In this work, BaBPO5 doped with the samarium ion was prepared by high temperature solid-state reaction. Sm2+ ions were obtained by two different reduction methods, i.e., heating in H2 reduced atmosphere and X-ray irradiation. The measurements of X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscope (SEM) were investigated. It is found that the conversion of Sm3+→Sm2+ is very efficient in BaBPO5 hosts after X-ray irradiation. Sm2+ ions under these two reduction methods exhibit different characteristics that were studied by measurements of luminescence and decay. The results showed that the luminescence properties of Sm2+ ions in BaBPO5 were highly dependent on the sample preparation conditions. 相似文献

A pulsed field gradient version of the sensitivity-enhanced 2D TOCSY experiment is proposed which yields high-quality spectra with improved sensitivity and a minimum of two scans pert1increment. For rapid acquisition of 1D TOCSY spectra, the 1D DPFGSE–TOCSY experiment was modified to include phase-encoded multiple-selective excitation followed by a simple spectral editing. Combination of these two building blocks is used in a sensitivity-enhanced 2D analog of the 3D TOCSY–TOCSY experiment which provides an efficient tool for resolving severely overlapped signals of oligomers in short experimental time. 相似文献

It is known that there exists an equivalence relation between the adjacency matrix of graph theory and the Hückel matrix of Hückel molecular orbital theory. This paper presents some useful methods which allow us to systematically find eigenvalues and eigenvectors of various classes of graphs without calculating characteristic polynomials. The intensity dynamics of the double-clad Yb fibre laser have been characterised. Stabilisation of the fibre laser intensity by using uniform bi-directional pumping is demonstrated. For the single-end-pumped Yb fibre laser, the output becomes more stable for the shorter fibre length due to the higher threshold of stimulated Brillouin scattering, SBS, and Kerr effects and the reduction of saturated absorber effects caused by any unpumped fibre section. By additional pumping in a double-end-pumped configuration, the output power can be scaled higher before detecting high intensity pulses initiated by SBS in the Yb fibre laser due to the reduction of saturable absorption effect. It is confirmed that uniform pumping enhances the stability of the laser output. 相似文献

Three different synthetic methods, the liquid phase process in HCl solution, the solvothermal reaction, and the surfactant-assisted solvothermal reaction, were explored to selectively control the particle shape and to enhance the luminescence intensity of the PbFCl-type red-emitting oxychloride phosphors LnOCl:Eu (Ln=La and Gd). The solvothermal pressure facilitated the low-temperature crystallization of the rod-shape particles for both Ln=La and Gd. It is noted that LaOCl:Eu nanorods show highly porous particle surface and quite low photoemission intensity. In contrast, the solvothermal synthesis could highly enhance the red-emission of GdOCl:Eu with no porous surface so as to be comparable to that of commercial Y2O3:Eu phosphor. An addition of surfactant material during solvothermal reaction yielded a rhomboidal-shape phosphor particles with no porous surface for both Ln=La and Gd. Interestingly, the elimination of surface porosity by using a surfactant significantly increased the emission intensity of LaOCl:Eu. It is proposed that the application of solvothermal technique for the synthesis of the PbFCl-type oxychloride phosphors is very effective to selectively control the particle shape and consequently to enhance the photoemission intensity if we use an appropriate surfactant material. 相似文献

After the laser was invented in 1960, a phase conjugation mirror has been respected to be the most fantastic one for the laser
resonator composition because it can compensate any distortions of the laser beams occurred by the many inhomogenuities of
the laser media and optical components. Among the many phase conjugation configurations, the stimulated Brillouin scattering
phase conjugation mirror is the most simple one and many researchers have tried to utilize it to develop high power/energy
laser systems. For realizing a high energy/power laser system the thermal problem is the most difficult to solve, and some
researchers suggested a beam combination technique to reduce the thermal load of the big laser media to many small sized ones.
To accomplish the beam combination using stimulated Brillouin scattering phase conjugation mirrors (SBS-PCMs), it is necessary
to lock/control the phases of the SBS-PCMs. And some researchers have developed several ways for it, but they can lock the
phases of a limited number of beams overlapped at the foci less than 5, or lock the phases by back-seeding technique but it
loses the phase conjugation characteristics. For realization of the laser fusion driver, it is necessary to combine more than
10 or 100 beams. And the authors have developed recently a new phase controlling/locking technique which is isolated and independent
