In this paper we examine clathrate formation in the tetraisoamylammonium propionate-water binary system. We have found formation
of four polyhydrates, two of which are metastable over the whole temperature range studied. All polyhydrate crystals were
isolated and their compositions and densities determined; for (i-C5H11)4NC2H5COO·36.5H2O, unit cell parameters were additionally found. The results are compared with data for tetra-n-butylammonium carboxylate
polyhydrates, and the structure of the title compounds is suggested. It is confirmed that the isoamyl radical stabilizes the
tetradecahedral void of the clathrate hydrate framework better than the n-butyl radical.

Polyphysa peniculus was grown in artificial seawater in the presence of arsenate, arsenite, monomethylarsonate and dimethylarsinic acid. The separation and identification of some of the arsenic species produced in the cells as well as in the growth medium were achieved by using hydride generation–gas chromatography–atomic absorption spectrometry methodology. Arsenite and dimethylarsinate were detected following incubation with arsenate. When the alga was treated with arsenite, dimethylarsinate was the major metabolite in the cells and in the growth medium; trace amounts of monomethylarsonate were also detected in the cells. With monomethylarsonate as a substrate, the metabolite is dimethylarsinate. Polyphysa peniculus did not metabolize dimethylarsinic acid when it was used as a substrate. Significant amounts of more complex arsenic species, such as arsenosungars, were not observed in the cells or medium on the evidence of flow injection–microwave digestion–hydride generation–atomic absorption spectrometry methodology. A combined approach based on solid-phase optosensing and multicommutation principles has been applied to develop a method for the simultaneous analysis of two pharmaceuticals (naproxen and salicylic acid) in biological fluids. The multicommuted flow-through optosensor was based on direct native fluorescence measurements of both analgesics using a non-polar sorbent (C18 silica gel) as a solid sensing zone. The flow system was controlled by Java-written home-made software and designed using three-way solenoid valves for an independent automated manipulation of sample and carrier solutions. Using an optimized sampling time, the method was calibrated in the range of 1 - 25 and 5 - 200 ng mL(-1). The obtained detection limits were 0.3 and 1.3 ng mL(-1) for naproxen and salicylic acid, respectively, with RSD (%) values of better than 2% for both analytes. The proposed methodology was successfully applied to urine, serum and pharmaceutical preparations. Recovery percentages ranging from 96.1 to 104% were obtained for both analytes. 相似文献

There has been considerable recent attention given to the stressed and buckled states of items with complicated configuration made of different nonlinearly elastic materials joined by complete adhesion. However, effective analytical solutions for such problems have been hindered by mathematical difficulties. Approximate methods have thus been developed for such problems. A variational combined principle has been formulated in this communication. A nonlinear geometrical approach has been used for formulating a mixed-type functional with physical relationships given by Euler equations, nonlinear equilibrium equations, and nonlinear boundary conditions for a piecewise-nonuniform nonlinearly elastic body composed of finite elements (particles). As an example, buckling along the nonuniform thickness of nonlinearly elastic rings was analyzed hypothetically assuming plane cross-sections. Options for two-, three-, four-, five-, and six-layered rings in a periodical structure have been reviewed. The critical buckling forces for an even number of layers have been found to be equal to each other.
