The behavior of the Goos-Hänchen (GH) shifts of the reflected and transmitted probe light beams is theoretically investigated. In a fixed geometrical configuration, the effect of quantum interference induced by spontaneous emission on the phase control of the GH shifts is analyzed in this paper. It is found that in a four-level N-type atomic system as an intracavity medium, the GH shifts of the reflected and transmitted probe light beam are completely phase dependent. 相似文献

In this paper, an H ?? output feedback controller is developed for a class of time-delayed MIMO nonlinear systems, containing backlash as an input nonlinearity. Particularly, a state observer is proposed to estimate unmeasurable states. The control law can be divided into two elements: An adaptive interval type-2 fuzzy part which approximates the uncertain model. The second part is an H ??-based controller, which attenuates the effects of external disturbances and approximation errors to a prescribed level. Furthermore, the Lyapunov theorem is used to prove stability of proposed controller and its robustness to external disturbance, hysteresis input nonlinearity, and time varying time-delay. As an example, the designed controller is applied to address the tracking problem of 2-DOF robotic manipulator. Simulation results not only verify the robust properties but also in comparison with an existing method reveal the ability of the proposed controller to exclude the effects of unknown time varying time-delays and hysteresis input nonlinearity. 相似文献

Role of Fano interference and incoherent pumping field on optical bistability in a four-level designed In Ga N/Ga N quantum dot nanostructure embedded in a unidirectional ring cavity are analyzed. It is found that intensity threshold of optical bistability can be manipulated by Fano interference. It is shown that incoherent pumping fields make the threshold of optical bistability behave differently by Fano interference. Moreover, in the presence of Fano interference the medium becomes phase-dependent. Therefore, the relative phase of applied fields can affect the behaviors of optical bistability and intensity threshold can be controlled easily. 相似文献

In this paper, a new model is proposed for manipulating the Kerr nonlinearity of right-hand circular probe light in a monolayer of graphene nanostructure. By using the density matrix equations and quantum optical approach, the third-order susceptibility of probe light is explored numerically. It is realized that the enhanced Kerr nonlinearity with zero linear absorption can be provided by selecting the appropriate quantities of controllable parameters, such as Rabi frequency and elliptical parameter of elliptical polarized coupling field. Intensity threshold of optical bistability (OB) and optical multistability (OM) can be controlled by amplitude and phase control of microwave driven field in the two-photon resonance transitions in a parametric region. It is found that in two-photon resonance case, the weak microwave field can reduce the threshold of optical bistability and strong microwave field can lead to optical multistability. The effect of relative phase between applied fields is also discussed. It is shown that for weak and strong microwave field, intensity threshold of OB and OM can be modified. Moreover, it is found that for strong microwave field, relative phase has an essential role for switching between OB and OM or vice versa. 相似文献

The elaborated collocation multipole method is employed to obtain a semi-analytical solution, involving proper products of angular and radial Mathieu functions, for the free flexural vibrations of a fully clamped thin elastic plate of elliptical planform containing multiple elliptical cutouts of arbitrary size, location, and orientation. The problem boundary conditions are satisfied by uniformly collocating points on the boundaries, and exactly calculating the normal derivative of plate displacement at the collocation points through use of appropriate directional derivative in each coordinate system. The multipole expansion is truncated to yield a coupled algebraic linear system of equations that is then solved for the nontrivial eigensolutions. Extensive numerical simulations present the first three calculated natural frequencies and the associated deformed mode shapes of an elliptical plate with elliptical/circular cutouts, for a wide range of plate/cutout aspect ratios, and cutout location/orientation parameters. The accuracy of solutions is checked through appropriate convergence studies, and the validity of results is established with the aid of a commercial finite element package as well as by comparison with the data available in the existing literature. 相似文献

Magnetic nanocomposite SrFe12O19/Ni0.7Zn0.3Fe2O4 powders with different weight fractions of the Ni0.7Zn0.3Fe2O4 soft ferrite were synthesized by a combination of the sol–gel self-propagation and glyoxilate precursor methods. The results of magnetic measurements revealed the higher Mr/Ms ratio for the nanocomposites than that for the single phase SrFe12O19 which proves the existence of the intergrain exchange coupling between hard and soft magnetic phases with the exchange spring behavior. The highest Mr/Ms ratio of 0.63 was obtained in the composite consisting of 80 wt% of SrFe12O19 and 20 wt% Ni0.7Zn0.3Fe2O4. The microstructural studies of this sample exhibited the average dimensions of hard and soft phases about 20 nm and 15 nm, respectively which are small enough for strong exchange coupling according to the theoretical studies. The variations of the reduced remanence (Mr/Ms) with increasing the weight fraction of the soft phase could be also explained by the role of the exchange and dipolar interactions in tuning the magnetic properties of the nanocomposites. 相似文献

Nanostructured single phase strontium hexaferrite, SrFe12O19, thin films have been synthesized on the (100) silicon substrate using a spin coating sol–gel process. The thin films with various Fe/Sr molar ratios of 8–12 were calcined at different temperatures from 500 to 900 °C. The composition, microstructure and magnetic properties of the SrFe12O19 thin films were characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, differential thermal analysis, thermogravimetry, X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy and vibrating sample magnetometer. The results showed that the optimum molar ratio for Fe/Sr was 10 at which the lowest calcination temperature to obtain the single phase strontium hexaferrite thin film was 800 °C. The magnetic measurements revealed that the sample with Fe/Sr molar ratio of 10, exhibited higher saturation magnetization (267.5 emu/cm3) and coercivity (4290 Oe) in comparison with those synthesized under other Fe/Sr molar ratios. 相似文献

A novel four level atomic configuration is proposed for controlling the optical bistability and transmission coefficient with application on all-optical switching. Two circularly polarized components from a weak linearly-polarized probe beam are interacted separately by two transitions of this medium. A coherent coupling field has derived another atomic transition. It is demonstrated that the transmission coefficient of two orthogonally polarized beams at different frequencies can be achieved by adjusting the magnitude of the external magnetic field. It is found that the threshold of the optical bistability can be controlled by magnitude of the external magnetic field. Also, it is shown that optical bistability can be converted to optical multistability by switching the two orthogonally polarized beams. 相似文献

This study assessed the effects of binaural spectral resolution mismatch on the intelligibility of Mandarin speech in noise using bilateral cochlear implant simulations. Noise-vocoded Mandarin speech, corrupted by speech-shaped noise at 0 and 5?dB signal-to-noise ratios, were presented unilaterally or bilaterally to normal-hearing listeners with mismatched spectral resolution between ears. Significant binaural benefits for Mandarin speech recognition were observed only with matched spectral resolution between ears. In addition, the performance of tone identification was more robust to noise than that of sentence recognition, suggesting factors other than tone identification might account more for the degraded sentence recognition in noise. 相似文献
