Ab initio coupled cluster calculations with single and double substitutions and a perturbative treatment of connected triple excitations [CCSD(T)] with the augmented correlation-consistent polarized valence triple-zeta aug-cc-pVTZ basis at 51 816 geometries provide a six-dimensional potential-energy surface for the electronic ground state of NH3. At 3814 selected geometries, CBS+ energies are obtained by extrapolating the CCSD(T) results for the aug-cc-pVXZ(X=T,Q,5) basis sets to the complete basis set (CBS) limit and adding corrections for core-valence correlation and relativistic effects. CBS** ab initio energies are generated at 51,816 geometries by an empirical extrapolation of the CCSD(T)/aug-cc-pVTZ results to the CBS+ limit. They cover the energy region up to 20,000 cm-1 above equilibrium. Parametrized analytical functions are fitted through the ab initio points. For these analytical surfaces, vibrational term values and transition moments are calculated by means of a variational program employing a kinetic-energy operator expressed in the Eckart-Sayvetz frame. Comparisons against experiment are used to assess the quality of the generated potential-energy surfaces. A "spectroscopic" potential-energy surface of NH3 is determined by a slight empirical adjustment of the ab initio potential to the experimental vibrational term values. Variational calculations on this refined surface yield rms deviations from experiment of 0.8 cm-1 for 24 inversion splittings and 0.4 (3.0) cm-1 for 34 (51) vibrational term values up to 6100 (10,300) cm-1. 相似文献

The solvation and transport of the hydrated excess proton is studied using the Car-Parrinello molecular-dynamics (CPMD) simulation method. The simulations were performed using BLYP and HCTH gradient-corrected exchange-correlation energy functionals. The fictitious electronic mass was chosen to be small enough so that the underlying water structural and dynamical properties were converged with respect to this important CPMD simulation parameter. An unphysical overstructuring of liquid water in the CPMD simulations using the BLYP functional resulted in the formation of long-lived hydrogen-bonding structures involving the excess proton and a particular (special) water oxygen. The excess proton was observed to be attracted to the special oxygen through the entire length of the BLYP CPMD simulations. Consequently, the excess proton diffusion was limited by the mobility of the special oxygen in the slowly diffusing water network and, in turn, the excess proton self-diffusion coefficient was found to be significantly below the experimental value. On the other hand, the structural properties of liquid water in the HCTH CPMD simulation were seen to be in better agreement with experiment, although the water and excess proton diffusions were still well below the experimental value. 相似文献

Thiol-capped water-soluble PbS nanocrystals (NCs) stabilized with 1-thioglycerol, dithioglycerol, or a mixture of 1-thioglycerol/dithioglycerol (TGL/DTG) were prepared via one-stage synthesis at room temperature. We found that NCs stabilized with a TGL/DTG mixture show efficient and stable infrared photoluminescence centered in the second "biological window" (1050-1200 nm). Under optimized conditions, full width at half-maximum of the PL emission peak was from 70 to 100 nm. PbS NCs were stable to precipitation and aggregation for the time period from 2 to 3 months when stored in the dark under room temperature. Room-temperature photoluminescence quantum efficiency of NCs was from 7 to 10%. When NCs were stored at 37 degrees C, their PL emission red-shifted, consistent with the NC growth. 相似文献

Catalytic oxidation of N,N'-dimethylthiourea and thiourea by dioxygen in water using a new cobalt(II) complex of octasulfophenyltetrapyrazinoporphyrazine was performed under mild conditions. The reaction is shown to include the formation of an intermediate anionic five-coordinate complex followed by an unusual two-electron oxidation to produce the corresponding urea and elemental sulfur (S8). Kinetic and thermodynamic parameters for the different reaction steps of the process were determined. The first X-band EPR spectrum containing only non-overlapping signals of septet pyridyl-2,4,6-trinitrene and triplet pyridylnitrenes is reported. This spectrum was recorded after photolysis of 2,4,6-triazidopyridine in solid argon at 5 K. The zero-field splitting (ZFS) parameters of this trinitrene as well as of intermediate triplet mononitrenes and quintet dinitrenes formed at early stages of the photolysis were determined using the combination of modern computer line-shape spectral simulations and density functional theory (DFT) calculations. It was found that septet pyridyl-2,4,6-trinitrene has the record negative parameter DS = −0.1031 cm−1 among all known to date septet pyridyl-2,4,6-trinitrenes and may be of interest as a model multi-qubit spin system for investigations of quantum computation processing. 相似文献

A system of a finite number of particles (atoms, molecules) is considered under the condition N. T. V. = const. A “one drop-vapour” approximation is proposed, adapting the Mayer cluster-expansion formalism to describe the heterogeneous equilibrium state of the system. The mean cluster size distribution function obtained is compared with computer simulation results by Rao, Berne and Kalos and shows quite good agreement.
