The anodic formation of Ag(I) oxide nanofilms on polycrystalline silver and Ag–Au alloys as well as on low-index single crystals of silver in 0.1?М KOH was examined. By the methods of photocurrent i ph and photopotential E ph measurements, the n-type conductivity of Ag2O film was established. Since the film (6–120 nm) is thinner than the space charge region, the dependence of photocurrent and photopotential appears on the film thickness L: i ph ~L and E ph ~L 2. The transition from polycrystalline silver to single crystals as well as the addition of a small amount of gold (X Au?≤?4 at.%) into the silver lattice decreases the degree of deviation from the stoichiometric composition Ag2O. The parameters of Ag2O film (optical absorption coefficient α, donor defects concentration N D, space charge region W, and Debye’s length of screening L D) depend on the index of a crystal face of silver, volume concentration of gold X Au in the alloy, and film-formation potential E. At Е?=?0.52 V, the sequences of variation of these parameters correlate with the reticular density sequence. The growth of the potential disturbs these sequences. The band gap in Ag2O formed on Agpoly, Aghkl, and Ag–Au is 2.32, 2.23, and 2.19 eV. Flat band potential in Ag(I) oxide, formed on Agpoly in 0.5 M KOH is 0.37 V. The appearance of the clear dependence between the state of the oxide/metal interface and the structure-sensitive parameters of semiconductor Ag(I) oxide phase allows considering the anodic formation of Ag2O on Ag as a result of the primary direct electrochemical reaction, not of the precipitation from the near-electrode layer. 相似文献

A novel way of synthesis is developed for the Ba2+ selective neutral Ionophore 2a : 2,2′‐[1,2‐phenylenebis(oxyethane‐2,1‐diyloxy)]bis(N‐benzyl‐N‐phenylacetamide) and its methyl ( 2b ), buthyl ( 2c ), and hexyl ( 2d ) derivatives. Ba2+ selective electrodes based on Ionophores 2a – d are compared with those with commonly used Ionophore 1 : N,N,N′,N′‐tetracyclohexyl‐oxybis(o‐phenyleneoxy) diacetamide. It is shown that Ionophores 2a – d , particularly 2b , are superior for measurements of Ba2+ in the presence of Ca2+, and in acidic solutions. Segmented sandwich membrane studies suggest formation of complexes IL22+ for Ba2+, Ca2+ and Mg2+ ions with Ionophore 2b , while H+ ions apparently form complexes H2L2+. The values of the complex formation constants are consistent with the selectivity coefficients. 相似文献

In this paper we investigate the structure and representation of n-ary algebras arising from DNA recombination, where n is a number of DNA segments participating in recombination. Our methods involve a generalization of the Jordan formalization
of observables in quantum mechanics in n-ary splicing algebras. It is proved that every identity satisfied by n-ary DNA recombination, with no restriction on the degree, is a consequence of n-ary commutativity and a single n-ary identity of the degree 3n-2. We transform the time-dependent Schrödinger equation for the most general variable quadratic Hamiltonians into a standard autonomous form. As a result, the time evolution of exact wave functions of generalized harmonic oscillators is determined in terms of the solutions of certain Ermakov and Riccatitype systems. A nontomography approach for the measurement of angular-dependent coherent-scatter cross section of x rays (E?40-80 keV) is described. It is shown that an analyzer crystal, which is proposed to be used for the sampling of the cross section, simultaneously provides information about the location of the scattering volume inside the object. We theoretically calculate the electromagnetic response of metallic rod dimers for the arbitrary planar arrangement of rods in the dimer. It is shown that dimers without an in-plane symmetry axis exhibit elliptical dichroism and act as "atoms" in planar chiral metamaterials. Because of a very simple geometry of the rod dimer, such planar metamaterials are much easier to fabricate than conventional split-ring or gammadion-type structures and lend themselves to a simple analytical treatment based on a coupled dipole model. Dependencies of the metamaterial's directional asymmetry on the dimer's geometry are established analytically and confirmed in numerical simulations. 相似文献

We propose a new protocol for quantum anonymous voting having serious advantages over the existing protocols: it protects both the voters from a curious tallyman and all the participants from a dishonest voter in unconditional way. The central idea of the protocol is that the ballots are given back to the voters after the voting process, which gives a possibility for two voters to check the anonymity of the vote counting process by preparing a special entangled state of two ballots. Any attempt of cheating from the side of the tallyman results in destroying the entanglement, which can be detected by the voters. 相似文献

Logical theories for representing knowledge are often plagued by the so-called Logical Omniscience Problem. The problem stems from the clash between the desire to model rational agents, which should be capable of simple logical inferences, and the fact that any logical inference, however complex, almost inevitably consists of inference steps that are simple enough. This contradiction points to the fruitlessness of trying to solve the Logical Omniscience Problem qualitatively if the rationality of agents is to be maintained. We provide a quantitative solution to the problem compatible with the two important facets of the reasoning agent: rationality and resource boundedness. More precisely, we provide a test for the logical omniscience problem in a given formal theory of knowledge. The quantitative measures we use are inspired by the complexity theory. We illustrate our framework with a number of examples ranging from the traditional implicit representation of knowledge in modal logic to the language of justification logic, which is capable of spelling out the internal inference process. We use these examples to divide representations of knowledge into logically omniscient and not logically omniscient, thus trying to determine how much information about the reasoning process needs to be present in a theory to avoid logical omniscience. 相似文献

This paper is concerned with a scalar nonlinear convolution equation, which appears naturally in the theory of traveling waves for monostable evolution models. First, we prove that, at each end of the real line, every bounded positive solution of the convolution equation should either be separated from zero or be exponentially converging to zero. This dichotomy principle is then used to establish a general theorem guaranteeing the uniform persistence and existence of semi-wavefront solutions to the convolution equation. Finally, we apply our theoretical results to several well-studied classes of evolution equations with asymmetric non-local and non-monotone response. We show that, contrary to the symmetric case, these equations can possess simultaneously stationary, expansion and extinction waves. 相似文献

Möbius structure (on a set \(X\) ) is a class of metrics having the same cross-ratios. A Möbius structure is Ptolemaic if it is invariant under inversion operations. The boundary at infinity of a \(\mathrm{CAT }(-1)\) space is in a natural way a Möbius space, which is Ptolemaic. We give a free of classification proof of the following result that characterizes the rank one symmetric spaces of noncompact type purely in terms of their Möbius geometry: Let \(X\) be a compact Ptolemy space which contains a Ptolemy circle and allows many space inversions.
