Inference of dynamical systems using piecewise linear models is a promising active research area. Most of the investigations in this field have been stimulated by the research in functional genomics. In this article we study the inference problem in piecewise linear systems. We propose first identifying the state transitions by detecting the jumps of the derivative estimates, then finding the guard conditions of the state transitions (thresholds) from the values of the state variables at the state transition time and finally using the conventional gene regulatory network inference methods to infer the regulatory relations. This approach does not require a priori information or assumption on the guard conditions and provides robustness to environmental or measurement noise underlined by the used jump detection filter. We discuss the particular problems where the suggested method can improve the efficiency and demonstrate the results on a comparative basis. 相似文献

The correlation dependence is obtained by the multiplication of two signals shifted in time with respect to each other and measured by two receivers. This study investigated a new adsorbent prepared from lignin modified organoclay for the removal of Pb2+ and UO2 2+ from aqueous solutions. The characterization of new adsorbent was performed by FT-IR and XRD. Adsorption of Pb2+ and UO2 2+ species in aqueous solution as a function of ion concentration, pH, temperature and time of adsorption was investigated in detail. The adsorption data were analyzed by using the Langmuir, Freundlich and Dubinin-Radushkevich models. The monolayer adsorption capacities of organoclay–lignin were 0.12 mol kg?1 and 0.42 mol kg?1 for Pb2+ and UO2 2+, respectively. The experimental kinetic data were analyzed by using pseudo-second-order kinetic and intra-particle diffusion models. The proposed adsorption mechanism follows a pseudo-second-order kinetic and endothermic because of increasing disorderliness at adsorbate/adsorbent interface. 相似文献

A model of exciton polarization fluctuations in a quantum well of a randomly variable lateral width is proposed. The stochastic part of the nonlocal susceptibility of quasi-two-dimensional excitons is expressed through random functions of the shape of quantum well boundaries. A theory of elastic light scattering from a quantum well placed in a Fabry-Perot cavity or a semiconductor microcavity is constructed in the lowest (Born) approximation in interface roughness height. The scattering cross section is calculated for an arbitrary statistics of interface roughness. The spectral and angular dependences of the intensity of light scattered by a quantum well have been studied using Gaussian correlation functions of the interface shape. It follows from numerical estimates that elastic resonant scattering in quantum wells should be observed at an rms roughness height of the order of the atomic monolayer thickness. 相似文献
