Benzo[b]thiophene mit Halogensubstitution in 5-Stellung

Zusammenfassung Cyclisierung von -(p-Chlor-phenylthio)-acetessigester und -(p-Brom-phenylthio)-acetessigester mit Polyphosphorsäure und anschließende Hydrolyse gab 5-Chlor- und 5-Brom-benzo[b]-thiophen-3-essigsäure. Deren Säurechloride wurden mit verschiedenen sekundären Aminen zu den entsprechenden N-substituierten 5-Chlor-und 5-Brom-benzo[b]thiophen-3-acetamiden umgesetzt. Diese wurden mit LiAlH₄ zu den tertiären Aminen reduziert.Ähnlich wie im Fall des -(p-Methoxy-phenylthio)-acetessigesters konnte auch die entsprechende Fluorverbindung nicht zu einem Benzo[b]thiophen-Derivat ringgeschlossen werden.

Cyclization reactions of -(p-chloro-phenylthio)-acetoacetate and -(p-bromo-phenylthio)-acetoacetate withPPA followed by hydrolysis gave 5-chloro- and 5-bromobenzo[b]thiopheneacetic acid. The acid chlorides reacted with various secondary amines to give the corresponding N-substituted 5-chloro- and 5-bromo-benzo[b]thiophene-3-acetamides. These were reduced by LiAlH₄ to tertiary amines.Similar to -(p-methoxy-phenylthio)-acetoacetate the fluoro compound gave no cyclization to a benzo[b]thiophene derivative.

Eine Ringschlußreaktion zu Derivaten der β-{Benzo[b]thienyl(3)}-propionsäure

Zusammenfassung Acylierung von p-Methylthioanisol mit Bernsteinsäureanhydrid ergab -(2-Methylthio-5-methyl-phenyl)--oxo-buttersäure, welche mit Chloressigsäure zu -{2-Carboxy-5-methylbenzo[b]thienyl-(3)}-propionsäure ringgeschlossen wurde.Partielle Decarboxylierung lieferte -{5-Methyl-benzo[b]-thienyl-(3)}-propionsäure.Acylation of p-methylthioanisole by succinic acid anhydride gave -(2-methylthio-5-methyl-phenyl)--oxo-butyric acid, which reacted with chloroacetic acid to give -{2-carboxy-5-methyl-benzo[b]thienyl-(3)}-propionic acid.Partial decarboxylation yielded -{5-methyl-benzo[b]thienyl-(3)}-propionic acid.Herrn Prof.L. Untersuchungen über Phenthiazinderivate. 11. Mitteilung

Zusammenfassung Durch Ringschluß mit ZnCl₂ in Eisessig-Essigsäureanhydrid wird aus -(9-Dioxo-phenthiazinyl-10)-propionsäure das bereits bekannte 4,10-(-Oxotrimethylen)-phenthiazin-9-dioxyd erhalten, das durch Hydrierung in die -Hydroxyverbindung und weiter mit PBr₃ in die -Bromverbindung verwandelt wird. Letztere gibt mit sekundären Basen eine Reihe gut kristallisierter Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel I.     

3-Aminoalkyl-5-methyl-benzo[b]thiophene

Zusammenfassung Ausgehend von -[5-Methyl-benzo[b]thienyl-(3)]-propionsäure wurde eine Reihe von 5-Methyl-benzo[b]thiophenen mit einer Aminoalkylsubstitution in 3-Stellung dargestellt: 3-(-Aminoäthyl)-5-methyl-benzo[b]thiophen durchCurtius-Abbau des Azids und 3-(-Aminopropyl)-5-methyl-benzo[b]thiophen sowie N-Substitutionsprodukte davon durch LiAlH₄-Reduktion der entsprechenden Amide.

5-Methyl-benzo[b]thiophenes having an aminoalkyl substituent in position 3 were prepared from -[5-methyl-benzo[b]-thienyl-(3)]-propionic acid: 3-(-aminoethyl)-5-methyl-benzo[b]-thiophene byCurtius rearrangement of the azide, and 3-(-aminopropyl)-5-methyl-benzo[b]thiophene as well as some of its N-derivatives by reduction of the corresponding amides with LiAlH₄.

     

Synthese von basisch substituierten 2- bzw. 3-Phenyl-benzo[b]thiophen-1,1-dioxiden

3-Halogeno-2-phenyl-benzo[b]thiophene-1.1-dioxide and 2-bromo-3-phenyl-benzo[b]thiophene-1.1-dioxides reacted with open-chain and heterocyclic amines to the corresponding title substances.     

Beiträge zur Chemie schwefelhaltiger Heterocyclen, 5. Mitt.: Weitere Reaktionen in der Reihe der 5,6,7,8-Tetrahydro-[1]benzothieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine

Zusammenfassung 2,4-Dioxo-1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydro-[1]benzothieno[2,3-d]pyrimidin (2) wurde1. durch Umsetzung von 2-Amino-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-benzo[b]thiophen-3-carbonsäureamid mit Phosgen, 2. durch Ringschlußreaktionen von 2-(N-Carbäthoxy-amino)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-benzo[b]thiophen-3-carbonsäureamid sowie 3. durch thermische Cyclisierung von 2-(N-Phenylureido)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-benzo[b]thiophen-3-carbonsäureamid gewonnen. Das entsprechende 3-Phenylderivat wurde durch Ringschlußreaktionen des Äthylesters oder des Amides der 2-(N-Phenylureido)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-benzo[b]thiophen-3-carbonsäure erhalten.Umsetzung von 2-Amino-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-benzo[b]thiophen-3-carbonsäureamid mit Chlorkohlensäureester gab je nach den Reaktionsbedingungen entweder 2-(N-Carbäthoxy-amino)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-benzo[b]thiophen-3-carbonsäureamid oder 2-Äthoxy-4-oxo-3,4,5,6,7,8-hexahydro-[1]benzothieno[2,3-d]pyrimidin.

Contributions to the chemistry of sulfur containing heterocycles, V: Further reactions of 5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-[1]benzothieno-[2,3-d]pyrimidines

2,4-Dioxo-1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydro-[1]benzothieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine was prepared in 3 different ways: by reaction of 2-amino-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-benzo[b]thiophene-3-carboxamide with phosgene, by cyclization of 2-(N-carbethoxy-amino)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-benzo[b]thiophene-3-carboxamide, or by thermal cyclization of ethyl 2-(N-phenylureido)-benzo[b]thiophene-3-carboxylate. The corresponding 3-phenyl derivative was prepared by ring closure reactions of ethyl 2-(N-phenylureido)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-benzo[b]thiophene-3-carboxylate or-3-carboxamide. Reaction of 2-amino-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-benzo[b]thiophene-3-carboxamide with ethyl chloroformate yielded either 2-(N-carbethoxy-amino)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-benzo[b]thiophene-3-carboxamide or 2-ethoxy-4-oxo-3,4,5,6,7,8-hexahydro-[1]benzothieno-[2,3-d]pyrimidine depending on reaction conditions.

Synthese von einigen 2H-Pyran-2-on-Derivaten

The Synthesis of Some 2H-Pyran-2-one Derivatives Derivatives of 6-unsubstituted 2H-pyran-2-one have been synthesized by several different methods. The 4-chloro-2H-pyran-2-one ( 9 ) is the most important, since it serves as starting material for the synthesis of different 4-substituted 2H-pyran-2-ones (Scheme 2). Also described are simple transformations of cumalic-acid derivatives producing 5-(2,2-dichlorovinyl)-2H-pyran-2-one ( 23 ), 2-oxo-2H-pyran-2-carbonitrile ( 26 ), and 4,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)-2H-pyran-2-one ( 32 ) (Scheme 3 and 4).     

Local deposition and characterisation of K2Co[Fe(CN)6] and K2Ni[Fe(CN)6] by scanning electrochemical microscopy

Scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) is used to form local deposits of different Prussian blue analogs on macroscopic surfaces of gold and glassy carbon. Dissolution of Co and Ni sacrificial ultramicroelectrodes (UMEs) generates divalent cations in the gap between the UME and the macroscopic specimen electrode. Co²⁺ or Ni²⁺ precipitate with [Fe(CN)₆]^4– formed by reduction of [Fe(CN)₆]^3– at the macroelectrode. By moving the UME while generating Co²⁺ or Ni²⁺, lines can be "drawn" with a width of 130 μm. The line width can be adjusted by reagent concentration and translation speed of the UME. Different pulse programs allow the formation of ring-shaped structures. The deposited hexacyanoferrate microstructures show catalytic activity for the reduction of Fe³⁺ which was imaged in the feedback and generation-collection modes of the SECM. Digital implementation of the preloaded filter pulse processor

Adapting it's processing time to the respective pulse intervals, the Preloaded Filter (PLF_ pulse processor offers optimum resolution together with highest possible throughput rates. The PLF algorithm could be formulated in a recursive manner which made possible it's implementation by means of a large field-programmable gate array, as a fast, pipe-lined digital processor with 10 MHz maximum throughput rate. While pre-filter digitization by an ADC with 12 bit resolution and 10 MHz sampling rate resulted in a poorer resolution than that of an analog filter, a digital PLF based on an ADC with 14 bit resolution and 10 MHz sampling rate, surpassed high-quality analog filters in resolution, throughput rate and long-term stability.     

Imidazo- und Diazino-Anellierungen an das [1]Benzothieno[2,3—d]pyrimidin-System

Derivatives of the following six ring systems were synthesized:

1. 3,10-Dihydro-[1]benzothieno[2,3-d]imidazo[1,5-a]-pyrimidine (I)
2. 6H-[1]Benzothieno[2,3-d]pyrazino[1,2-a]pyrimidine (II)
3. 1,5-Dihydro-[1]benzothieno[2,3-d]imidazo[1,2-a]-pyrimidine (III)
4. 6H-[1]Benzothieno[2,3-d]pyrimido[1,2-a]pyrimidine (IV)
5. 1,5-Dihydro-imidazo[1,2-a]thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine (V)
6. 4H-Pyrimido[1,2-a]thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine (VI)

The first four types are new heterocyclic systems. 2-Aminomethyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-[1]benzothieno[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4(3H)-one (5), which was used as intermediate for typesI andII, was synthesized by various methods. TypesIII andIV were prepared from 2-methylthio-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-[1]-benzothieno[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4(3H)-one via the corresponding 2-benzylamino derivatives, followed by ring closure.
